The Luana Waikiki Hotel is one of the premier hotels buildings in the Fort DeRussy area. The hotel was originally built in 1971, designed by the architectural firm Gensler. The hotel was fully renovated in 2004 and features modern, Hawaiian-inspired décor and offers guests a variety of amenities, including a rooftop pool, fitness center. Many rooms have since undergone further upgrades and renovations to ensure comfort and additional modern amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The host communicated clearly, responded quickly, and went above and beyond with local recommendations — overall, just wonderful to work with.The condo had everything we could possibly need for our week-long stay — from a broom, dustpan, and mini vacuum to beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a full-sized ice chest. The kitchen was impressively stocked with all the essentials, including a cheese grater, measuring cups and spoons, and even salt and pepper. The unit was spotless, and the shower water pressure was fantastic.The balcony views were absolutely spectacular and did not disappoint. The location was also perfect — just a short walk to what we called “Main Street” in Waikiki, near the International Marketplace.The only small downside was that the front desk associates weren’t particularly friendly. We only had to interact with them briefly during check-in and when trying to locate the ice machine, but it wasn’t the most welcoming experience. Still, that minor inconvenience wouldn’t stop us from coming back.We absolutely loved it here and already plan to return!

This condo was perfect in every way! They thought of all the right touches to make our stay as convenient as possible. They even had a full-size cooler we could take to the beach! The condo was spotless and looked exactly like it does in the photos…And those views are just breathtaking!

Great location

The suite was acceptable but could have used some additional attention to cleaning. We have stayed at this location in the past and love the location, lots of restaurants and sightseeing within walking distance. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Great Location Ocean View Paradise

This one bedroom unit is spacious and stylish. Enjoyed the Tommy Bahamas theme. Everything in working order including the washer dryer. I will come again.

Great Vacation

Nice property with great view overlooking Ft. Derussy park to the Pacific. Two balconies are nice for sun or shade. Condo is clean and check in was simple. Comfortable bedding, good size kitchen, nice furnishings. 10 to 15 minute walk to everything. Easy to get Lyft and Uber rides. Good communication with host. If we return to Hawaii, we would stay here again.

Great Location !

We stayed for 7 days and enjoyed the views from this 15th floor condo. Every morning taking in the beauty of the ocean from the kitchen/living room and the city & mountains from the bedroom. Excellent location, within walking distance to the ocean and downtown stores. Check in was not as easy as promised but we got it figured out. The pool area was very nice. We enjoyed using the outdoor BBQ grills and tables. Overall had a great stay, very quiet and relaxing while visiting our family.

We had some problems...

Knowing we would be spending lots of time at the beach, we specifically looked for a property with a washer and dryer. This place fit the bill (so we thought). A few days before our arrival (at my wife's request), I reached out to the property manager, Mark, and asked specifically if the washer and dryer were working. He responded yes, but when we got there we realized the washer did not work. I reached out to Mark again on day 1 but he never responded (we were there for a week). I got completely ghosted by this guy. Thumbs down, brother. The views from the condo were great, but the false advertising and lack of communication were disappointing. Lest you are wondering if I don't know how to operate a washing machine, I've rebuilt a Jeep using nothing but YouTube videos, I have a storybook marriage after years of counseling, and one of my adult children still likes me. I think I know how to run a washing machine. I'm telling you, this thing did not work. Also, beware if you are a happily married couple and bringing children. There are no locks on any of the interior doors. We left some extra toilet paper and bottled water for you (you can thank Jesus, he's helping me to be a better person)! Hawaii was great, except for the homelessness problem and the naked guy wandering around a few blocks from Costco. I'm sure we will go back to swim with the turtles again and to eat at Seven Brothers, but I don't think I'll be staying at this property.

Perfect condo

This condo is perfect for a vacation getaway. It is located in an amazing part of Waikiki with views of the mountains and the beach and within walking distance of all amenities. Mark was very responsive to any issues we encountered and took immediate steps to help. Would highly recommend staying at Mark’s condo. You won’t be disappointed!

Well Appointed Condo in Great Location

The condominium was just as described. Clean and had all the necessary items. We were able to eat at local food trucks selling diverse food choices, relax at a nearby brewery, walk Waikiki Beach and shop in the best shops - all within walking distance. And when touring the island smart car rentals for under $40/day were also available within walking distance with affordable parking also available. We cooked in a lot given the expense of the island itself, and took in the Saturday AM farmers market as well as amenities from the ABC stores. Although a private rental in a hotel, the hotel staff was more than accommodating. We would definitely book again.

Property was very clean. Great view. We got a room with washer / dryer in the unit so it was quite convenient. Good location. Walkable to the beach. Also close to public transportation. We took bus to Pear Harbor and Diamond Head. Great communication. Clear check-in instruction. We were able to get the key a little earlier before 3 pm. Asked for a blanket and Mark (asked the cleaner) dropped one immediately. Thank you! Will definitely consider next time!

Beautiful and relaxing

The condo was everything that we expected, it was clean and well appointed. The views were spectacular, one lanai overlooked the park and on to the ocean, the other overlooked the city and on to the mountains. It was the perfect base of operations for our mostly on foot explorations. We were within a few blocks of all the shopping and fine dining that we could handle. When we wanted to go on a road trip, we used the Hui car rental right next door. The convenience of this location could not have been better suited to our style of vacation.

Great location, very nice condo

Great condo located with easy walking distance to EVERYTHING. Condo was clean and well appointed. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessities plus some. Only complaint was parking. A little squirrelly.
