Great location! Walking distance to the beach and stores/eateries. Comes with free parking pass which is a huge plus if you are renting a car. The condo itself can use a little bit of dusting, but overall the place had everything we needed for our stay.

Glad the location and the parking pass made things easy for you! Sorry about the dusting, that should have been caught before you arrived, so we've passed it along to our housekeeping team. Good to hear the condo had everything else you needed. Hope we get to host you again. Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals!

It was easy to communicate with the host, Ali'i Beach Rentals. When we arrived, we noticed that there were only 2 beach towels instead of 4. We texted and received the additional towels within a few hours. The listing details for the unit were accurate and we even found a couple more beach items than expected (probably thanks to previous guests). The only things that we would have liked to be different have to do with the building - not the host or the unit itself. The pool was available, but the sauna, showers, and locker rooms were not when we visited. We expected them to be available after reading that the deck renovation was complete. The deck is renovated and available, but those interior areas are not.But the bigger issue with the building was water. Water was shut off on 2 separate days during our 1 week stay. We received 24-hour or more notice each time, which was good, but not having water is not ideal. We were not inconvenienced by the first event because we had a day tour planned and left early and returned after the water had been turned back on. The second time was on the day of our departure when we would have liked to stay until checkout time at 10:30am. But the water was shut off at 8am, so we felt rushed to shower, have breakfast, etc. Bottom line: we would stay with the property manager, Ali'i, again and probably at Waikiki Banyan again since the location is convenient and parking is included.

We're glad communication was easy and that our team got you those extra towels quickly. It's great to hear the listing matched what you found, bonus beach items included. The sauna, showers, and water outages are all building matters outside our hands, though we understand the timing on your last morning was frustrating. We really appreciate you separating the unit experience from the building issues so clearly, and we'd love to have you back at the Banyan. Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of three adults, and it was hard to find a place that has two queen beds. Waikiki Banyan was perfect for us! The beds were very comfortable, and there is a very nice kitchen. The best part was the view from the lanai. Free parking was nice, and it was very convenient to have a washer and dryer on the same floor ($4 each, a bit expensive, but it was convenient.) Beach chairs and bodyboards were nice to have. Overall, the place was very clean and comfortable. We'd stay here again!

Quick trip to Oahu (3 nights)

The condo was comfortable and everything in working order. We had a bit of challenge with cable TV but were in the room so little that it didn't affect our stay. Beds (even the sofa bed) very comfortable. Condo was clean and centrally located to beach, restaurants, shopping, and maneuvering in/out of Waikiki was a breeze. We discovered the coffee house in lobby on the last day but didn't have opportunity to experience. Thank you for a nice visit, and I would definitely re-book for a future trip.

Great property

Really enjoyed my stay here with my family. Check in and check out process was easy. Property was clean and newly renovated. Free parking was very nice. Short walk to the beach, shopping, and food. The only downside to my stay is the elevators in Tower 2 were very slow. Especially between 3-4pm when it was check in time for the other condos. There may be a line in the lobby to catch a elevator. Other then that I would highly recommend this property.

Small but clean place with AC

Overall experience good. Place was comfortable and clean with AC. A bit small, but we’re only there to sleep so it really wasn’t an issue. The bathroom sink drains slow though so housekeeping needs to use drano to clear it up. Only complaint we had, though very small, was laundry detergent was not provided. There was dish detergent, but none for laundry, so we had to purchase some at the front desk.

It's fantastic that the condo met your expectations in terms of cleanliness and had all the necessities you needed. We also appreciate your positive note about the air-conditioning. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the elevators, and we understand that it can be frustrating. Elevator congestion is a challenge that we are working to address with the building management to improve the overall experience for our guests. We appreciate your understanding and patience and are glad that despite this issue, everything else was great. Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals!
