quiet retreat

property was very clean; amply supplied, with exception of a few kitchen items; overall stay excellent; beds very comfortable; 3 separate well stocked showers; easy to get to just a few blocks from interstate; but quiet recessed from street property, restaurants and essentials within a few blocks. would stay there again for sure

Amazing property. So peaceful and beautiful yet close to everything. We loved the outdoor spaces as much as the indoor. Responsive host. Top end furnishings & appliances. Everything we needed was there. Super smooth check-in and out. Will definitely come back when in the area. We stayed with six adults (no couples) and there was plenty of room.

This is one of the best I’ve stayed in!The host Van is super friendly and answered everything in a timely manner and weather updated us on our journey. He was an excellent host! Took my family of 8 and got there. The driveway was plowed and welcoming. We walked in and I was blown away with the beautiful Christmas decorations and how beautiful this home is. There was so much room for my family to stretch out and not be crowded. I loved watching them squirrels in the back yard over my morning cup of coffee. We all loved how comfortable the beds were and the beautiful decor of the home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed! Thanks Van for hosting us and we will check in again!!

The house was fantastic. One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in. The owner thought of almost every single thing we could want and had it already. So it was almost like staying at home. Fantastic location also.

Great friens' reunion

Beautiful property with fantastic covered porch, perfect for a four-couple gathering/socializing. Also a great away-from-the-city location with ready access to the beltway and the Bourbon Trail. And the property manager was on-the-spot when we called.

Wonderful place to stay

We were more than pleased with this property. The property is two blocks from gas, food, church, etc. Freeways are easy to access from property and grocery stores, etc.. Very quiet property. The house was immaculate and up to date and everything worked. Nice place for 8 adults to stay. Thank you Van for helping make our family vacation a success.

Beautiful house

This house has everything! Well-equipped kitchen, four comfortable bedrooms, enough bathrooms so that we each had our own, TV’s everywhere, a beautiful covered porch, foosball, and gorgeous furnishings. There were three of us in our 70’s and we couldn’t have found a nicer place. Although it was about a 20 minute drive into the city, it was quiet and peaceful. quiet and about a 20 minute drive into the city

Exceptional stay with the best Host

This home is absolutely Amazing and the Host are even more amazing !!! This is our second time staying here. Van is the most outgoing and comforting Host by far. Wow!

What a beautiful home in a even more beautiful setting. Our group of friends had a great time exploring the greater Louisville area and the location of this home was perfect. Super clean and each of us had plenty of space. Van was quick to respond with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect home

This was the perfect hoe for 4 couples to stay. We wanted to be outside of Louisville, and this was the perfect location. We weren't in the thick of things but we could very easily get there when needed. The house was beautifully cared for and very comfortable. The perfect combination of comfort and convenience. A fabulous find!!!!

Reunion/wedding

We came to Louisville to attend my nieces wedding. Family car from all over the country and we were able to use this home to meet and gather with ample room and wonderful flow to the house. The yard is absolutely gorgeous and the back porch was wonderful to sit and visit on. The kitchen was very nice and well appointed. Van was very kind to accommodate us on things we needed and was very responsive to my messages. We couldn’t have had a better stay.

We loved everything about our stay, and would definitely stay again! The house was so spacious with a great layout for larger groups, and very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The furniture in the house was all great quality, and appliances were quality as well. Beds were comfortable. The outside spaces were so great and the location was quiet and peaceful. The host did a great job with communicating and responded quickly when I had questions. There was a situation of the host’s control our first day there, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed until the situation was fixed. Would absolutely recommend this home and would come back again.

I love peaceful settings where I live. Ranch houses with open floor plan on large lots attract me the most. This property serves the purpose for my family whenever we have special occasions, the entire extended family can gather here.

Staying on this property, you will have very peaceful park-like front and back yard. Even though the property is located on a main road, the house sits far from the road that you won't hear most traffic, especially when you are relaxing in the back porch. You can find unique serenity here. Inside, guests can enjoy the peaceful views from the kitchen, dining room, or family room through large picture windows.
