This two bedroom apartment is new to short term rental. It has a glorious view of the mountains and the city of Elkins is located in a very peaceful neighborhood and is an easy walk down town. It has a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and kitchen supplies. There’s a front deck by a nice garden to pick fresh food and herbs from, and a back deck overlooking the mountains and city.

The views are great, the apartment is spacious, in a convenient location and the beds were comfortable.However, we did not feel comfortable there due to the strong dog odour from sofa and carpets.We had not realised the implications of renting a pet friendly property if we dont have pets ourselves. We checked out after only staying there one night and booked somewhere else although we had paid for a much longer stay.Perhaps we just got unlucky after the previous guests.The apartment is a little bit dilapidated and in need of a deep clean but has great potential.The owner said she would speak to her cleaning team so hopefully it will be in a cleaner state for the next guests.

The apartment was very clean and was perfectly quaint. Going out on the balcony to have my coffee every morning was such a needed relaxation. I watched the fog lift and the sun hit the color changed trees. Beautiful way to start each Fall morning.

Wonderful family visit

We came in to visit with family and for my sister’s wedding and had a great stay. The owner was friendly and readily available. There is no tv, but that didn’t matter to us. The view from the deck is a highlight of the property.

Great Spot

We enjoyed using this spot to explore Eastern West Virginia. Elkins has some great restaurants and borders the Mononghala National Forest. Don't miss Smoke on the Water BBQ, if you're a meat eater you won't be disappointed. The listing didn't mention there are two bedrooms and two baths, more than enough room for two.

Great!

Nothing but good things to say loved the view. Found out a friend lived 2 houses away so we walked over for dinner. Rented bikes from Joeys and rode the trail. Last night was storming but all went well.

Great accessibility

Very cute place. I love the artwork and pottery accented throughout. Cheyenne was a great host. We had a great stay despite the rain.

Hunting Trip

I stayed at the Summit House for several days. Myself and a friend picked this place to stay to go hunting in the Monongahela National Forrest. It was my first time deer hunting. The view from the balcony at the Summit St. house was probably the best part about staying there. We plan to come back to the area next year and I’d like to plan to stay at the same place.

Lovely space

While not new, the space is lovely and comfortable. Loved the deck overlooking Elkins. Loved the art also - I have some pieces by the same artists I bought in Davis, WV on another trip home.

Beautiful moutaintop view

My family had a great time staying here. It was a beautiful view of fireworks for fourth of july. Such a beautiful little apartment. Just space enough for our little family. Thanks for the stay!

Fantastic little spot with a scenic view

Charm & comfort in a cozy private home overlooking a scenic view of the town & mountains. A pleasant surprise to stumble upon. The hosts were friendly and available to answer my questions early on. Would definitely visit again.

Good place

Convenient. Adequate. Very dangerous tub/shower. No grab bars. A lawsuit waiting to happen. Round toilet seats are inconvenient for clean up after going. Nice deck and view. We’ll supplied kitchen. Paying balance was a nightmare. Nobody to take our cash.

LOVELY VIEW

The apartment was just what we needed! It was clean and the balcony view was gorgeous of the town below and the mountains. Just two complaints: No coffeemaker and dryer was out of order. We would definitely stay again though!

I had a great time staying here. The host was very easy to reach. The apartment was clean and peaceful. The Mountain View from the balcony was definitely my favorite part :)
