Cabin was better than expected. Kitchen was awesome. Supplies the best we have had. Comfortable bed and lounging area. Great water pressure. Just simply EXCELLENT!Awesome ride into the area.

After reserving, the host never returned my message asking the property’s proximity to Belington WV. 5 hours before check in, and after we were packed, loaded, and in route to said property, I get a notification saying host has cancelled your reservation due to environmental issues… No courtesy phone call from host, no courtesy text message, just an automated message through Vrbo… Host still hasn’t responded to my message expressing my frustration! A planned ahead weekend ruined!

Hi Lee, I am sorry that your travel plans were ruined as a result of our cabin being unavailable. I do want to clarify that I did reach out to you and let you know. And apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you and your group. Completely understand how frustrating that was, and the inconvenience of not being able to have a great place to stay. If there would’ve been any way to accommodate you, I would have done it in a heartbeat. My property was severely damaged to the point that our entire lower level underwent extensive renovations to repair the damage. I know that doesn’t take away from your negative experience but I did want to clarify since you brought this up in the review.

This was our third time staying here. We love it. Check-in was really easy. This time we spent as much time at the house and the surrounding area (Audra) as possible. We decided we wanted to relax instead of run. Love being able to take our dogs with us, also.

Cute cabin and the owner was super nice. Loved that it was dog friendly. Unfortunately first impressions were not great from the outside and we had issues with the AC. Also just personal opinion the upstairs would only be able to be used

Audra State Park Area

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The setting was beautiful and the hosts were quick to respond to issues. The house and the deck area could have been a little cleaner.

We were in town for a celebration of life. It was s nice stress reliever to enjoy the fire pit, outdoor lights and s'mores on Saturday evening. We appreciated the detailed instructions on finding and accessing the property. We would visit again and tell others about it! Thank you.

Nice home with all the amenities promised. Beautiful deck, porch swing, and fire pit in the yard. The only negative was outdoor grill was in need of a good cleaning. Quick drive to Audra State Park.

Peaceful and Quiet

We had a great time! Plenty of room for a family of 5. If you are looking to from a break from technology and to just get away, this is a great place to stay. Unplug and unwind!! Audra State park was beautiful!

We were at the Strawberry Festival. We own JoJo's Taco and was being taped for a show with the Food Network. So we were very busy. But it had everything we needed and more.

Spring break 2023

Quiet little place in the river, felt like home away from home. The power did go out a few times during our stay due to high winds and a thunderstorm that rolled thru but it was nice to bust out board games by candle light and enjoy each other's company.

Fathers Day Gift Trip

The drive up was beautiful WV mountains. Our family really enjoyed the property, especially the wrap around decking. The home is cozy with necessities as listed. A quick walk and we were sitting on rocks in the river, fishing. The house and setting is as described, only wish we had another day to relax and enjoy it!

Secluded and peaceful

Home is a few minutes down a gravel road in a camp ground. There is little to no traffic so you can enjoy the sounds of nature. Covered back porch to sit on if raining - home was clean and pictures were accurate with the photos shown for the listing. Less than 5 min walk to nearby river

Overall experience was a wonderful time for friends and kids to get connected with nature. Kids loved the bed loft spaces and reading nooks with books available and the added things like coffee and supplies that could have been forgotten really added to the homey feel of the cabin. Only complaint was the reading nook pictured with the small bed and tent like structure, bean bag and lamp were not present in the room but a second small child chair with a chalk board was located in the second bedroom with 4 beds that saved the day for my 4 year old. Communication with the hosts were easy and very fast and pleasant to interact with.

Very nice cabin. Nice property. If you're looking for super quiet, this is not your place. Tons of driving traffic, ATVs, and a neighbor that must've thought he was staying there as well. Overall, still a good experience.

Audra Park

Had a great time. Plan on no cell reception and very limited internet -which was a great plus. Neighbors were great helping with any issues and communication when we were out of range. The girls loved the loft areas, books and so many games. Enjoy the family time here, you won’t be disappointed.
