Goodyear Lodge, formerly known as Adirondack Waterfront Compound - GOODYEAR LAKE - Unique!! Multi-family compound sits on a 2-acre wooded lot on the western shore of Goodyear Lake. Built in 1901, this historic property consists of a 3-story main house and adjacent boathouse cottage. It is a perfect choice for large groups; there is room for everyone inside and out. The Lodge and the boathouse combine to offer 8 bedrooms, 5 with lake views, and 4 full baths and an outdoor shower.

Lighted wooden steps show the way from the driveway to each house and the private 200' waterfront. In addition to 2 kayaks, outdoor amenities include extensive waterfront decking, Adirondack-style seating, and a fire pit. An outdoor dining area is complete with a stone fireplace grill and an oversized dining table. A large flat lawn area is set up for soccer, complete with goals.

This property is convenient to baseball tournaments in both Cooperstown and Oneonta.

LODGE

The main level features a large great room with dining and two seating areas. A galley kitchen flows into the dining / living area which opens to a screened-in sleeping porch with a queen bed that spans the width of the house showcasing breathtaking views of the lake. The lower level is a lakefront walk-out and is set up as a game room, bathroom, and laundry room. The bedrooms are all located on the upper level and are set up as three 2-bedroom suites; each queen room overlooks the lake. Each level has its own recently renovated full bathroom. There are hardwood floors throughout.

The décor is a pleasant blend of modern amenities and rustic antiques. The great room is highlighted by original “lawyer’s oak paneling”, an oversized, custom-designed farmhouse table, 2 seating areas, and a flat-screen TV along with the original brick fireplace.

Upper Level: Offers 6 bedrooms set up as three separate suites. Each suite has a twin bedroom with a closet and an adjoining queen bedroom that overlooks the lake. There are 2 TVs and 2 ceiling fans in each suite. For your added comfort, each suite also has zoned AC.

Lower Level: This level includes the game room and laundry room. It is surrounded by windows and opens directly to the waterfront. The newly renovated game room is complete with a second gas fireplace, bar seating, flat-screen TV, air hockey, board games and books, etc., as well as lounge seating.

BOATHOUSE

The Boathouse cottage is adjacent to the Lodge, separated only by a gate. With its over-the- lake woodland setting, it offers the most private of accommodations within the compound. The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and a cot and the other with 2 queen beds, full bathroom with tub & shower, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer, a comfortable living room, dining room, and a private screened-in porch. The décor is a mix of leather and antiques. It has hardwood floors throughout, plus 3 flat-screen TVs.

An open deck provides out door dining overlooking the lake. Enjoy campfires in the fire pit at water's edge.

NOTE: One well supervised team party is allowed for a no-refundable fee of $2,000. The gathering can be NO more than 30 people and must be approved by the owner Barbara. If any damage occurs from the party it will be taken out of the damage deposit.
