FISHING SPOTS

Fishing is permitted on the Eastlake Trl & Eastlake Spur near the south gate entrance and the bridge along the lake & marina. No permit is needed

SPA RULES

Please Note: Spray tans will permanently stain our new hottub and can potentially cause other damages internally, we ask that you refrain from using the spa, if you have a spray tan. Clients will be held responsible for any damages.
Spa is drained, cleaned and refilled after each client.

We provide our guests with premium seasoned firewood right on-site, so there's no need for you to bring any. Enjoy a cozy and hassle-free stay!

KAYAKS

Enjoy the serene waters of Lake Arrowhead with the added convenience of complimentary kayak access during your stay at The Shady 180.
Our two kayaks are located at the home.
We kindly ask that you inspect all equipment before use.. For your convenience, the paddles and life vests for the kayaks will be stored at The Shady 180 in the closet of the master bedroom. Please remember to return them to the property after your use for safekeeping.

PARKING

Curious about parking? We've got space for two large cars or normal-sized trucks on the property, but street parking isn't permitted. If you have more than two cars, prior arrangements will need to be made for an offsite parking pass. Rest assured, our parking area is well-lit at dusk for your safety and convenience. Additionally, the steps and walking path are illuminated for your ease and security.

HOME ACCESS

The home entrance is at the back, with a covered porch and a WiFi-controlled smart lock. Use the left-side keypad for your door code. In case of a power outage, there's a lock box with a spare key near the back door for easy access.

TV STREAMING OPTIONS FOR 2024

Enjoy LG Live TV, Hulu, Peacock, Starz, and Max options on our 65" smart television. We kindly request that you refrain from logging out of our streaming services. Subject to change every year.

PROPANE GRILL

Discover all the grilling tools – utensils, skewers, and gloves – in the last kitchen drawer. Please handle the equipment with care during use and clean the grill grates afterward. Help us maintain the grill and its cover by reinstalling the cover after use and once it has cooled. If you prefer not to clean the grill, a $25.00 cleaning fee may be added to cover the extra service provided by our cleaners. Thank you!

FIRE PIT AREA

At the back of our home, you'll find a lovely propane fire pit area with six Adirondack chairs and three small tables – a perfect spot to relax and have great conversations! A solid wood table holds the propane tank, and the fire pit has an ignition switch on its lower side for starting it up. IMPORTANT: Remember to turn on the propane tank for use and off when not in use. (located under the wood built table) Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

We do have a non-operational camera located on the front porch on the right side of the sliding door.

TRASH

Kindly bag all trash and use the outdoor receptacles for disposal. Loose trash is not allowed in the cans according to the trash service rules. Please ensure that no bagged trash is left outside the cans or in a way that they don't fully close. We have raccoons and bears around, so to prevent them from spreading trash, use the 2 large cans with bungee straps to keep the lids closed. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

DISHES

Please load the dishwasher and press start with a provided dishwasher tablet located under the sink cabinet when checking out.

LINENS

Please place all dry to damp towels, wash cloths, used robes, dishcloths & kitchen towels etc. on kitchen Island, and hang any wet ones.

Leave all bed linens on beds. Please do not pull linens off the beds

Please secure and lock all windows & doors when exiting the property.

***Please refrain from rearranging or moving our furniture, and avoid unplugging lamps, clocks, etc. Thank you.

SMOKING POLICY

This property is strictly non-smoking anywhere on premises, as agreed upon when accepting the rental. We retain the right to impose fines of up to $10,000.00 for any smoking in and on the premises.

PET POLICY
Pets must receive approval, be friendly, on flea and tick medication, and house trained. When left alone, they should be crated, and when outside, kept on a leash. Owners must commit to cleaning up and bagging any waste from their pets.

SAFETY NOTE:
Our home is not equipped for small children. For safety purposes, we kindly ask that guests with children keep a watchful eye. We warmly welcome a mix of up to 4 adults and/ or up to 2 children for a total maximum of 5 people in our home.
