Perfectly updated beach getaway to Ocean Lakes

Book the recently updated, Barefoot Bungalow (site 1336), for your next Beach getaway to Ocean Lakes. This raised beach house offers 2 bedrooms/2 baths with 2 queens and a twin bunk loft. Each bedroom has a flatscreen TV and cable with streaming access. Great for small families with children and sleeps 5 comfortably. Completely updated, and new to the rental program with all you need for a great beach getaway. Only a few steps to Sand Dollar Lake and in walking distance or a short golf cart ride to the beach. Come and enjoy a relaxing time with an outdoor entertainment spot with outdoor TV and outdoor shower or relax on the porch on a quiet street. All furnishings are updated and comfortable and our home has a fully stocked kitchen, a charcoal grill is provided and bedrooms/bathrooms come furnished with linens (sheets and towels) and upgraded Kingsdown mattresses. Rates also include cleaning fee. You will never want to leave!

Ocean Lakes requires a $15 per day parking pass. This is paid directly to Ocean Lakes before entering.

This is a family oriented beach house and we only book to adults 25 years and older. An adult 25 years or older must be in the house for the entire stay. For your security and ours, we do have outdoor security cameras that monitor 24/7.

Ocean Lakes has exceptional amenities to include beach access, water park with slides and lazy river, indoor and outdoor swimming, basketball courts, playgrounds, arcade, putt-putt to name a few. Ocean Lakes is a kids dream!

We do not offer a golf cart with this house but one can be easily rented through Ocean Lakes.

Only 1 small dog (under 25 lbs) is permitted. A $100 pet fee will be charged for those bringing their pet. Please select “traveling with pets” option.

The barefoot bungalow was the perfect house for our small family. We came for our first Halloween weekend and will definitely be planning to stay here next year. The house is beautiful and very clean. Having linens, towels etc included with the house and the washer and dryer were bonuses for us. We will be returning!!!

We loved our stay at the barefoot bungalow. The owners were easy to work with and communication was seemless. The house is exactly as described and as the pictures show. Extremely clean and well decorated, it truly felt like home and not just a rental. We cannot wait to stay here again in the future. Of course the location inside of Ocean Lakes makes this a perfect place for families.

House was nice and clean - nicely decorated. The only extras that would have been nice would be a hair dryer as well as a full supply of utensils. Only large spoons in drawer. Otherwise great stay!

We had a great beach vacation in the Barefoot Bungalow! Everything was perfect! The whole house is not only very clean, but it’s decorated beautifully! It’s in a great location and is a quick golf cart ride to the beach! Great vacation spot!

Awesome Place to stay

When we arrived the home was very clean and smelled wonderful! The house had everything we needed and a nice welcome package was on the counter! We will definitely rent again. Host was very accessible with communication! Very close to the beach and there is so much to do in the campground. We were able to bring our own golf cart which was a plus. Plenty of parking for our GC trailer and 2 cars!

Great Host!

We had a great time on vacation, until an unexpected event happened, and I had emergency surgery. Tasha was very accommodating and very kind! We would definitely recommend, and book again. Thank you again for your hospitality and encouragement!!

This house is absolutely beautiful, homey and spacious. They had everything that we needed and they answered me immediately when I had to call to figure out their door. Only because I am technology challenged. They were SUPER nice and very helpful!!! And they left a welcome gift for us!!! That was SO SO thoughtful!!! OK Lackey Family, We will be back!!!!

Great stay at an amazing property!

The host was great with communication. The property was exactly as it is listed and was extremely clean upon our arrival. Would absolutely recommend this property to others. I have stayed at at least 6 different houses in Ocean Lakes over the past few years and this is by far the best one I’ve stayed in. Looking forward to renting it again in the future.

Great trip

The house was perfect for two couples! We had a great time and the house was perfect. We loved the downstairs patio/tv set up, perfect for watching baseball at night. We always enjoy Ocean Lakes and this house was great.

Myrtle Beach Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The outdoor sofa and TV area was a great gathering spot in the evenings. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We would love to stay here again soon!

We love all that Ocean Lakes has to offer, from the beach to water park, to putt putt and arcade. There is always crafts at the arcade and scavenger hunts. We love the multiple playgrounds and dog parks and the basketball courts. There is sooo much to do! A kids dream!

We are on a quiet street and a quick walk to the beach and even quicker golf cart ride.
