Beautiful Home in the heart of Wells Maine

Enjoy all the comforts of home in this easy living 3 Bedroom house in the heart of Wells, ME, easily accessible off of Rt. 95. This recently remodeled home sits on a quiet street abutting the Rachel Carson Wildlife Sanctuary. Located east of Rt 1., guest will enjoy an easy walk to great local restaurants and a short distance to both Wells and Drakes Island Beaches, convenience and liquor stores, grocery store, mini golf, movies, and much more. The trolley stop is nearby for easy access to Kennebunkport and Ogunquit too. Wells Harbor offers fishing charters, water taxis, kayak & jet ski rentals, children's playground and free family concerts on Saturday night.

This clean and tastefully decorated home offers 3 bedrooms - King in master bedroom, 2 full beds in the 2nd bedroom and a private suite which offers a Queen bed, twin bunk beds and full bath on floor level. Maximum capacity is 8- 10 guests, & parking for 6 vehicles. Enjoy the ocean air with a screened in three season porch. All rooms have air conditioning units. High Speed Wifi is also included. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dining space. A large capacity washer/dryer is available on the main floor. Relax in the backyard with gas grill, family games and outdoor shower. Please note: we can provide bed linens but only upon request. The first floor is a nice private space with a bedroom that sleeps 4 and a private bathroom with shower. The main level has two bedrooms, Kitchen, laundry, 3 season porch, and a bathroom with a full tub and shower. All OFF-SEASON rentals require 3-night min stay. PEAK-SEASON (July/ Aug) rentals require a 7- night stay with a Saturday Check In/Out day.

Perfect place to stay for a multi generational trip! Close drive (within 10 minutes) to at least 5 beaches and with in a half hour of old orchard and York! We had a great stay.

Spacious and Amazing

This property was amazing! Felt very spacious and cozy! Was close enough that we could walk to our favorite places like Mike’s or Congdon’s. I am definitely looking in to staying here again!

This home was just lovely for my family vacation and it is well configured for large groups. There is a lot of space in this home. The vaulted ceiling in the dining/living room makes it feel huge and the screened in porch offers lovely options for hang out zones if you are traveling with a lot of people. The yard and neighborhood is great for kids. Drive to beaches is short and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious house. Lots of room for the family to spread out. Owner was very receptive to questions. Very clean! Close to beaches. We preferred the beach at Ogunquit which was a short drive.

The 4 of us had a ball! Plenty of space, comfortable beds and a great porch! Communication with Joe was clear and he was very responsive. We would stay again.

Lovely property in a great location

Very comfortable for two families with two kids each. Short drive to many great sites/beaches. Host was very friendly and responsive. Little side note, be sure to pack shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, extra garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper.

Successful Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family vacation. It was central to many places we wanted to go and many restaurants were within walking distance. The enclosed porch was our favorite place to congregate and I enjoyed a quiet cup of coffee there every morning before the rest of the family invaded. In addition to instructions about the house, the host included various suggestions about activities and places to eat. They were spot on!

Quiet and tucked away, but a short drive to everywhere

We had 5 adults and 3 children and were able to sleep very comfortably for Christmas by the Sea weekend. Cozy and warm, with plenty of blankets and towels. Short drive to everything. We had take out from Congdons, Maine Diner, Bull and Claw which were all very good and we had plenty of room to dine in the house. Thanks again

Spacious House

The place was perfect for our family, spacious and clean. There is a screened in porched with a glass slider door so if you have kids on devices or just playing games, you can close out the noise if need be. The location was perfect for us as we were joining another family that was renting on Drake's Island but it was also a short drive to Ogunquit or Cresent Beach in Wells. Super close to the restaurants and other stores. Joe was an amazing host. Super responsive and took care of our questions all week.

Grande propriété, confirtable pour une grande famille. Situé près de la plage en voiture mais difficilement accessible à pieds. Les lits dans la chambre de deux lits double ne sont pas tres solides, les autres lits sont confortables. Les serviettes sont fournies mais il ny a pas de debarbouillettes ni de guenilles. Manque du savon a vaisselle. Sommes toute, nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour. Merci!
