The property was wonderfully located and very clean. Craig was a dutiful host and a good communicator. I recommend this property, especially for anyone with events at Hobart and William Smith.

This is a really nice property in a safe and convenient location. It's very quiet in the evening, with a very pleasant outdoor area. The host is awesome! It's a great place for a family to stay.

The home was lovely, it felt like stepping into grandma's house, complete with vintage decor, including a china cabinet filled with pretty things. The kitchen was excellently equipped with everything you might need to make a gourmet meal for a big group. The beds are comfey and there were actually a lot of quality pillows!The location near Seneca Falls was great and Belhurst Castle is easy walking distance from the home.

Excellent Location

Great location, within minutes of restaurants, breweries and wineries. It made getting around the lake so easy. Nice outdoor space, we enjoyed the ease of the propane fire pit.

Good Stay

Overall good stay. Good location in the finger lakes. The only issue we had were the owners of the house were in the house when we arrived despite us asking to skip a tour of the house.

As host of my house, I great all my guests and ask if there’s anything they need. I show my guests the house and all amenities. The ironic part is you brought your dog and never disclosed it to us and that’s a violation of the house rules. You can bring a pet but you have to disclose that to the host. You did not do that. That’s why you didn’t want us to give you a tour. You decided to hide your dog because you didn’t know if it was aloud. Very sneaky. Under normal circumstances and if you were honest it would not have been a big deal. You gave us a 3 star because you got caught. Look at the other reviews that honest guests have left. I overlooked that fact and gave you a 5 star even though it should have been 2 for no communication, braking house rules and the lack of respect.

Relaxing!

This is a great home to invite friends and family for dinner, sit in the hot tub and have coffee on the back deck while watching the birds and deer. Geneva is a great little city that is very clean and feels extremely safe walking. We made many spa appointments for ourselves and our guests across the street in the castle. The beds are extremely comfortable and the hosts are great! We missed the house as soon as we left.

Wedding experience

My son was getting married at Belhurst across the street. Being so close allowed us to help the wedding couple so their day went smoothly. The home was beautifully decorated with full kitchen and other amenities. Host was very responsive and made it easy to reach them if needed. Highly recommend them.

This house is in a great location close to wineries and the town of Geneva. It was clean and cozy. All the beds were very comfortable, and we were provided with everything we needed. The communication with the host, Craig, was excellent. He was kind and flexible. Our dog, Rainbow, enjoyed her stay as well. The large yard was a great place to walk her.
