Excellent home base for Wine tour

The property was super clean and very well stocked. Tim the host thought of everything guests would need. The house is located near the Seneca wine trail making it convenient to use as our home base for the weekend. Watkins Glen is only a 40 minute drive. Definitely would stay again when we our back in the area.

Tim is a great host.. always responsive! He provided coffee water snacks and breakfast food for us. His updates in the bathrooms are well done. Close to town. Bed very comfortable. House very clean I would recommend for sure!

Perfect Getaway

This house was absolutely beautiful! It was clean and cozy and the host had thought of all of the little details. We couldn’t have asked for anything better and will definitely be booking again.

Quiet and Comfortable

House is exactly as described; very clean and comfortable. Extremely quiet location -so very restful sleep. Have never used an Alexa and directions were very thorough, and it was easy to learn.

Very clean older home lovingly restored. A few quirks (example one step was a few inches longer that was unexpected), a mix of modern and old charm. The location is across from an ice cream/grill - we didn’t try it but did try the bbq place recommended by the host and it was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to see our host provided eggs, bagels, oatmeal, waffles (freezer) and snacks. We selected the main bedroom which had plenty of space. The bathroom had the basics plus other items (qtips, toothbrushes, raxors, etc). Check out was easy. We recommend Tuccis for breakfast or lunch - a mile away.

Great Stay

If you are looking for a place to stay for the weekend or longer, this house is perfect. It is clean, very well decorated and has everything you will need to have a great time. The host is very cooperative and communicates well.

Geneva Visit

My husband and I, along with my parents visited my daughter at HWS. Our stay was very comfortable. The owner had made sure to have lights on as we were arriving after dark.

Convenient Location

This property is close to downtown Geneva and comfortable. Th house was well stocked and clean. The outside could use a little cleaning to remove the debris on the siding.

Very comfortable and well appointed home

Timothy was very responsive. The house was very well stocked , with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location, to have access to the east and west side of the lake. Easy walk into town too. Grocery shopping was easy, as Wegmans is only a few miles away.

Very nice jouae

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable and clean. Nice kitchen with good pots and pans. The backyard is nice with a firepit and chairs. There was truck and train noise because there is a depot at the end of the side street. I felt safe walking our puppy after dark. Near nice parks on the lake with very nice walking paths. Also close to the Women’s Rights Museum.

Great!

Old house with great character, spacious and very nice bedrooms. Air conditioning worked great, a big plus. My wife found the washer and dryer a big plus. Large refrigerator with large top freezer. A variety of small amenities was a nice touch. Host was attentive and friendly. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Bicycling Get Away in Geneva, NY

The property was very clean & well stocked with supplies & necessities. The modern technology (lights, faucets, etc.) worked well & was fun to use. The air conditioners worked great as well.The middle bedroom could use a table, or equivalent, for resting a suitcase.We liked the central location for our bicycle adventures. Lockable storage outdoors or a porch would be desirable.

NOSTALGIC CHARMER

This home reminded me so much of my childhood home but with modern conveniences and thoughtful updates (I’m 75). Though it’s an older home care was taken to modernize it enough to make it comfortable for today’s travelers. The bathrooms and kitchen were well appointed with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. It was also very clean and in a conveniently located safe older neighborhood—two things that are of utmost importance when considering any rental. Tim, the host, was easily accessible and promptly responded to any questions we had. There is only one caution I would advise—if you have difficulty with stairs, this may not be an appropriate fit for you. Both staircases are extremely steep and the individual steps are quite high. Not easily negotiated by 75 year olds, particularly when trying to drag luggage up and down. But had that not been an issue, we would not hesitate to stay again. Also love that Tim proudly flies the American flag prominently on his front porch. Way to go Tim!

I've tried to think of almost everything that guests might need to make their stay carefree. This house is filled with many extras others may not offer for free. Finger Lakes Roasters coffee, hand made goats milk soaps, washer and dryer with everything needed and fully stocked, emergency male and female needs, blow dryers, curling irons. I also have a dishwasher with dish detergent and a fully accommodating kitchen.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This house is so peaceful and quiet at night you'd think you were out in the middle of the country. The house is physically located on the north eastern side of the city and is close to everything.
