Relax, enjoy the areas rich history, antiquing or get outdoorsy while enjoying all the creeks, rivers and rail trails near Sugar Creek Place. Romantic spot for couples or to make memories with friends and family. Sugar Creek Place is an updated hideaway with a beautiful open floorplan, modern kitchen, bar seating, fireside dining area and lots of gathering space both inside and outside! You can lounge or dine on the large deck overlooking Sugarcreek. Firepit areas are located on the deck, in the private backyard or creekside. All of this and more is less than 5mi via creek or drive to lovely Franklin, PA where there are restaurants, breweries and year round festivals and events to enjoy. Property can be rented for up to 2 weeks. Any longer than 14 days will have to be pre-approved by the owner.

The property was beautiful, spotless, and well appointed. We were in the area to visit family, so the location was perfect! When we arrived, everything was perfect, including treats for our dogs! The house had everything we needed and more than we imagined. The house was very comfortable, allowing us the opportunity to relax and reconnect after our long days. The outdoor space gave us plenty of space for our dogs to explore safely. The host left excellent instructions and was super responsive. We have already booked our next trip!

Sugar Creek Place was a delight! Our hosts thought of every detail and were extremely responsive before and during our stay. We loved the place so much we chose to stay in and get takeout on our first night vs our plan to go out for dinner! :) We were particularly delighted by the airy nature of the home and the multiple gatherings spaces with opportunities to sit by a gas or wood fire! It was truly delightful! We were in town for a family wedding and 7 adults shared the space very comfortably.

We originally booked this property to take our elderly parents on a guided fly fishing trip, but had to reschedule. The hosts were extremely kind and easy to work with! After rescheduling and arriving in Sept rather than March there was no fishing capability as the water was too low, however we still enjoyed the fire pit at the creek’s edge, the cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. We cooked, relaxed and caught up on family affairs. Our parents are in their 80s and they thought it was absolutely PERFECT! Loved how dog friendly it was too!

Beautiful place to stay

Beautiful place to stay, unfortunately it was just me and my dog. I would love to come back in warmer weather to fish 🐟. However, the snow was beautiful and view of the deer 🦌 across from the drive, eating was amazingly peaceful.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Comfortable, Clean property with all the conveniences located in a private area. The deck looks out towards the stream and sunshine pours through the living/dining area. Great place to relax and enjoy the property or visit the Town of Franklin, Oil Creek State Park or Two Mile Run.

Sugar Creek Place is simply awesome

Property is everything and more you would want in a retreat. Beautiful setting, firepits, fireplace, great kitchen. Spring Creek is just below house and is terrific to relax by and have a fire. Hosts are very inviting and make sure everything is just so. My family had a wonderful time at Sugar Crek Place!

WHAT A JEM!!

Oh my gosh, this place is where you want to stay! We had everything we needed and more! The house was very clean, so comfortable, and all-around welcoming! We did a girl's trip and had more than enough room. The beds are great, bathrooms are unique and so nice, and the outside is pleasant too. We built a fire down by the water, enjoyed that immensely. We all talked about going back and I really hope it happens. We will be talking about this great stay for a long time! Thank you hosts!!

What a lovely property

This house is an amazing getaway. It’s nestled in the middle of an area full of beautiful trees and wildlife. We saw deer from the window one afternoon, and other wildlife running thru the property on and off. The house was comfortable and clean. The property manager was very responsive to any concerns. We are already planning our next stay here. Thanks for an enjoyable week.

Just like home...

In addition to the positive reviews, we also chose this home due to it being centrally located between Pittsburgh and Erie. This was our annual vacation with our adult sons, which is priceless. The home is just as described, beautifully decorated, fully functioning and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything one may need; the quality of the kitchen dishes, cookware, etc... is high. We made an early Thanksgiving dinner and chocolate chip cookies. There is even a milk frother to make a cappuccino! We highly recommend this rental and we plan to return next year.

Little Bit of Heaven

From the moment you pull in the driveway to the property, you feel welcome. Trees, chipmunks, toads, flowers, the sound of the birds and the creek, it doesn't get much better. If you are looking for a great place to relax and have a 'factory reset' this place is it. Great communication, little details that make you smile and a host that thinks of just about everything you'll need. It's an absolutely gorgeous home and look forward to visiting in the future. Another wonderful stay. This was our second stay at Sugarcreek. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. Excellent location for visiting family locally. Beautiful views, relaxing environment. We even saw eagles eating fish in the creek!
