Paradise on Palestine

Overlooking the water, this home has been renovated inside and out! It sits at the end of a quiet circle and is a 3B2.5B home with a beautiful master ensuite and a porch that extends across the back of the entire property. We have a firepit area and lots of wood for guests to use. Please note that the back deck is open and may not be safe for small children.

There is a boat dock so you can park your boat at the house.

We do allow pets, however there is a $100 pet fee per stay.

Great place to stay. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was clean and roomy. Loved the pier, the boat lifts were wonderful, never had to worry about our boat when the wind picked up! The whole family had a great time.

Absolutely loved this little slice of heaven. The house was great, clean, and extremely well stocked. The dock was amazing! We spent most of our time on it and caught lots of fish. The view from the back porch was breathtaking and the perfect place for morning coffee. Host Bonnie was fantastic and responded immediately to any questions we had. We can’t wait to stay again!

Great Lake home!!

Bonnie was very responsive with questions and needs!! The home is so beautiful with each bedroom having its own bathroom! Super convenient! Great little boutique and a coffee shop nearby as well as a DQ!! Everything we needed!! Thank you Bonnie for a wonderful experience!

Great place for family! Loved the huge porch snd shaded yard. Lake was up high, so we didn’t get to use the dock, but it was a great place to swim! Hostess was super great! Thank you, Ms. Bonnie!

Truly a Paradise

Just finished our weekend. It truly was a paradise on the Palestine. House was clean and well decorated. We spent our time around the fire pit. We fished and kayaked. Plenty of space in doors and out for our group of 9. The owner was very upfront about to expect bugs so that was not a shock to us when bugs came in when we opened doors and didn’t bother us like some reviews. The house is surrounded by trees and it’s a nature lovers dream. The sights and sounds of the ducks and geese flying over was just awesome. It was a perfect fall weekend for us.

Paradise on Palestine

Before our stay at Paradise on Lake Palestine, ten family members got together to clean our family cemetary a historical marker in Palestine, Texas. We shared stories with the young adults and children about our ancestors. Wanting to extend the East Texas experience we lodged at Paradise on Lake Palestine were we enjoyed fishing, relaxing, the view of the lake and reflecting about what we learned about our ancestors. We also enjoyed swiming at the resort and the paddle boats and dining at the marina which were both just a few miles away from where we were staying. I especially enjoyed fishing on the pier at night just yards from the house while looking back at the wrapped around porch surrounded with white lights. As family departed there were not only goodbyes but also thank you and I enjoyed everything. We hope to make this an annual experience.

AMAZING TRIP

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed at this location many times in the past, but this was our first time staying since the complete remodel! Bonnie was a wonderful host who assisted us with the initial problem of getting into the home...operator error! Then she assisted us with air-conditioner issues! She sent someone out immediately. This was a multigenerational family trip. My elderly parents were able to easily make it down to the dock and fish with the rest of the family. We had family from the area come down for a fish fry on Saturday, and we all had a great time. We always try to take care of the property that our host shares with us. We hope our cleaning thoroughness was appreciated. Again, Bonnie was wonderful and we will be back!
