Spacious 3128 sq. ft. home offers plenty of room for large families. Huge living area is 29x29 ft. Take a SWIM or enjoy the lake with KAYAKS provided for your use. Spend your evenings gathered around the FIRE PIT, sharing stories and making memories under the stars. Inside, you'll find a large living area 29 x 29 square ft. that's perfect for entertaining and relaxing after a day on the lake. Play a game of FOOSBALL inside or enjoy the game table with your friends. When it's time to unwind, sink into the comfortable SLEEP NUMBER BEDS the king and queen bedrooms. FYI...The bathrooms in this house are definitely unique. The bathroom off the hallway has a toilet and vanity. The bathroom in the main bedroom has a tub/shower and vanity. Excellent stay!

We loved our stay in this beautiful and peaceful lake home! Communication with the owners was awesome and checking in was a breeze. Very clean house and it has the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in! It is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy!

Family Gathering

We had a lovely long weekend at this home! Enjoyed the coziness inside and the setting on the lake was perfect for our kayaks! Highly recommend! Excellent communication with host!

Hidden gem on Lake Palestine

Super helpful host! And a very unique property. We were there for a fishing tournament and the neighborhood boat ramp was very convenient. Property had plenty of space for vehicles and boat trailer.

Amazing Home

Omg!!! I first want to say Cyndi was an AMAZING HOST!!! My family and I drive all the way from Phoenix, AZ and enjoyed ourselves soooo much. The home was immaculately decorated and clean. We were accommodated by the host in best way possible. My family and I were very impressed with the morning views of the lake and the late night deers that are in the area. We are city folk!! So, anytime we get a chance to see Mother Nature at its best we enjoy every bit of it. We will definitely visit again. Thank you soooo much Cyndi for having us

Lake house

The house was absolutely great. The only suggestion I have is that the listing be revised explaining that there is technically only one full bathroom for the whole house and that it’s actually a 3 bedroom home and not 4 but a sunroom with a couch and futon. Other than that, it was a lovely property.

Truly a Hidden Gem

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Gracious host and lovely facility. It is misleading if you think the listing reads as 2 bathrooms. In fact the toilet and shower (1 of each) are located in separate rooms. While it didn’t compromise our stay at all, it is something to note. Thank you for sharing your slice of lake living.

quiet, calming location

The property is beautiful, quite and serene. The four star rating was because the discription was somewhat misleading. If I had read the reviews I would have seen that there were 2-1/2 baths. One with stool and sink and the second with a bathtub/shower and sink which had to be entered through the main bedroom. Also the fourth bedroom is actually the sun room with a futon. The other thing we found somewhat concerning was only 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, a 1/2 roll of paper towels and 2 dishwasher tablets for 4 people for three nights. However, the house itself was very pleasant to stay in; warm and inviting.

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful in a quiet location. The only thing is read closely and don’t sssume an error in the description. While “technically” there are 2 bathrooms, it’s a little different. There is a half bath that connects to Master & hallway and it contains the only toilet. There is another bathroom in the master but it only has a shower, vanity and sink. So the entire house only has 1 toilet and 1 shower. You’ll have to go into the master bedroom to get to the shower. Also the “4th” bedroom is a sunroom and there is a door with glass that connects the sunroom c to the master. So if you are in the sunroom, you can see right into the master bedroom. For our group it wasn’t an issue because we weren’t there long and there were only 4 of us. But if there were more or the stay was longer, it may have been. With that said, it’s a minor inconvenience but the rest of the house made up for it. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, every room had a floor fan, the view was incredible. The kitchen was well stocked (it does need a frying pan though, so bring one if you need it), if the bathroom situation is t going to bug you, I HIGHLY recommend this place. Cyndi, the owner, was skis super responsive and very nice.

Four sleepless hot nites..

Two guys & one gal, long time old friends meet-up Problems:..#1..A/C was unable to cool the house..Arrived w/house at 86 inside. Hot in every room..Extremely uncomfortable every day..Could not get it cool for sleeping. Many sleepless nites due to temp..Woke up @ 3 a.m. & a/c had turned off~.no fan on, temp had climbed to 75..#2 Very AWKWARD & poor restroom facilities.Only ONE toilet and it had access doors to hall & MBedroom...Was awakened every time a person went to restroom! Only ONE place to bathe & it was in the MBath.Our male friend had to access the shower through our M.Bedroom #3 Housekeeping lacked in many areas...#4 continual ants in MBath. We guest went & purchased ant traps~ didn't help! Happy to be home!

Read the Fine Print

I was truly excited about our stay at this VRBO. Once we arrived, the house was not clean, many cobwebs, spiders and ants inside the house and on counter tops. 1. The house is listed as 4 bedroom it is not. 1st bedroom has a king size bed. 2nd bedroom has a queen or full size bed. 3rd bedroom has bunkbeds (in a laundry room) and the listed 4th bedroom is a pull out in porch area. 2. So many BUGS!!!! I did call and the owner send out someone to spray. But definitely need heavy treatment inside and outside the house. 3. If you don't just LOVE the smell of cedar... then this is NOT the house for you. It is wall to wall cedar planks! 4. Kitchen was fitly! We used a ton of Clorox wipe to make sure it was clean. 5. The house is listed as 2 bathroom!!! Read the fine print.... I did not. It is 2 half baths. 1st half bath is a toilet and sink.... One door to the half bath leads into a hallway ant the second door into the master bedroom. The 2nd half bath has a sink and a bath/shower. If any guest needs to use the shower they have to enter through the master bedroom. Large family gatherings beware! This half bath, was FULL of ants and was very dirty, dungy and OLD! 6. The tv's are listed as smart but you cannot log into any streaming sites, because the owners has them locked out. 7. Outdoor area was nice and the view of the lake as great and a great escape from what was inside. I was looking forward to our stay be left disappointed!

There is only one toilet in this house, the pictures and descriptions are highly misleading. There is a powder bath, and then an entirely other room with a shower that you have to walk through the primary bedroom to access. It’s clearly flooded many times are smells strongly of mold. There are no smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detector. None of the bedrooms meet fire egress standards.

Our children are grown now, so it's just us. We purchased the lake house to make memories and enjoy it with our children and grandchildren. Our newest lake home, The Hidden Jewel is so special to me. I fell in love with this beautiful home with soaring ceilings and it's unique features. I hope you will love it too.

Our lake house sits over 1.5 acres on a private road. This home is unique in design, starting from the all wood interior to the architectural features. inside. The oversized rooms make it such a comfortable home to stay in. The living room alone is 29 x 29 sq. ft. with a huge vaulted ceiling adorned incredible solid wood beams.
