This amazing location offers the best of both worlds. Great for boating and fishing, launch your boat just a block away and tie up to the canal dock at the home. Enjoy a variety of fishing options :surf, canal, bay, and Gulf fishing at your disposal. If your looking for a "feet in the sand" experience, the beach is access is located in the neighborhood. The home offers a comfortable stay with many amenities some of which include a fish cleaning station, charcoal grill, and outdoor shower.

The house is adequate for what we needed. The only issue was the methane sewer gas was bad inside the house especially when the air conditioner came on. Our visit was enjoyable.

Always a great time!! Weather wasn't great but we still had a blast. Caught a nice flounder in the canal, to bad it was off season. We love this place!!! The host always goes above and beyond

Perfect for a family getaway!

We loved this house! The location was perfect, and it had everything we needed to make this an enjoyable stay. Our family had a wonderful time fishing right from the property and across the street on the fishing dock. The fact the beach was a 4 minute drive across the street made it even better. Highly recommended!

Would definitely stay here again right on the water and had everything we needed for a perfect family weekend. Owner’s were very quick to answer any question we had.

Amazing Place to Stay!

This place was the perfect get away home! Everything was exactly like the description and it was the perfect location. We also loved that we were able to bring out dog with us. The touches of travel sized tooth paste, sunscreen, aloe vera etc. was such a nice touch! It was such a great place and we can't wait to go back!

Spring Break Fishing Trip

I took my son and father in law fishing for my son’s spring break. The listing was exactly as listed. The beds were comfortable, dock was easily accessible with the boat, and they had direct TV for us to watch the Rockets! The owners were prompt to respond when we had an access question and very polite. We are already planning our next trip to come back!

yearly fishing trip

The house was awesome. Being able to dock the boat right behind the house was a game changer. Will never stay anywhere else when fishing in the San Luis Pass.

Hubby & I needed some RR & he needed to get this kayak back in the water. Came home with some fish so it was a great stay. Cute & quiet place.

Birthday Fishing Trip

The location is wonderful for enjoying the outdoors, fishing and crabbing. Some updating and repairs on the house are needed. We loved having a place to clean fish on the premises. We are already planning to return.

Relaxing Visit to San Luis Pass

We loved our stay at Anchors Away! The house was just as described in the listing. The hosts were very efficient and helpful. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. All of the property members that we met were helpful and interesting to talk to. We definitely recommend this property.

2nd time staying at this property. Great experience both times. I come to this area to kayak fish and this house provides everything I need. Excellent location, fish cleaning station, access to boat ramp, great local fishing, and very comfortable beds.

Spring Break Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here for a Spring Break getaway. The house is in a great location and is stocked very well. My boys enjoyed fishing in the canal and across the street at the San Luis County Park. The pictures don't do it justice. The hostess was easy to communicate with. Would definitely rent again if back in the area. Thanks for providing a great place to stay!

Honeymoon

The property, neighborhood, and area were great! Fishing in the canal was a good time. The neighbors were friendly and invited us to use their slip and night fishing light. There was one inconsistency with the listed amenities that Holly offered an acceptable solution to without me even having to ask! Would stay here again!
