The Cottage in the Cove

The Cottage in the Cove is a charming 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home on Lake Norman. This warm and cozy cottage has been freshly remodeled while maintaining its charming character with exposed rock walls in the open floor plan living areas. This quaint area is calling you to grab a book, open the doors to the patio and relax into your own little reading nook.

**Currently, the water level is extremely low.**

This house offers three bedrooms upstairs located above the walkout basement living area. The full bath is located upstairs, which has its own double vanity sink with the most elegant marble countertops and shower/bath combination.

We didn’t forget about the view! This house has a lakeside deck that extends the full length of the home! If you call yourself a grill master, test out the propane grill and enjoy a beautiful sunset around the outdoor firepit or from your private dock. The flow of this house is perfect for a weekend getaway. At the risk of sounding cliché- this home is so homey; it truly does feel like a home away from home.

Bonus - you are in a quiet cove, but you are minutes away from lake restaurants, golf courses, groceries, and more.

Jake’s place has everything you need for a fun and comfortable stay at the lake. The kitchen is well stocked and has all utensils, pots/pans and all that is needed. The fenced in yard is perfect for pets. Jake is very responsive in his communication! Highly recommend The Cottage in the Cove!

Great place to stay

Owner was communicative from the time I booked the property throught the entire process. Anytime i had questions, he responded promptly and was extremely helpful. Cute house with a lovely backyard space that our dog enjoyed very much. We were very comfortable in the house. Absolutely recommend and would stay there again if we head back to that area.

We had a great stay at this home in Denver! We were there for 5 nights and really appreciated the spacious yard — it was perfect for relaxing outside and a great space for our dogs to run around. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area!

Beautiful Getaway

Away from the rush of the east side of the lake, this property was so amazing for me, my husband and dog to spend a few days! The yard is giant and fully-fenced which was great, and we caught a large mouth bass off the boathouse! Quiet and peaceful, we loved this spot! Plenty of trees and shade in the yard, and the house was charming and very clean.

Cottage In The Cove

We enjoyed Jake’s home! Had a fire, went kayaking and explored the State Park. Very quiet neighborhood but close enough to activities. Jake was very quick to respond and was very helpful. It was a very relaxing stay!

Great trip

We appreciated the easy check in and ease of communication with host Jake. Enjoyed the house and property. Had everything we needed. House was beautifully updated and very comfortable. The cove is very private. Ty Jake! Best wishes with the new baby!

Great Stay

The property was very nice and exactly how it is described. It was perfect for our family of 3 and could even fit another if needed. It’s a quiet area due to it being located at the end of a long cove so there’s no boat traffic going by. We utilized the large fenced in yard and fire pit every night and loved it. This is great little property for a small family.

Amazing place!

It was lakefront with a nice dock and fire pit. The water was a little shallow, but I could walk my boat in. Boat ramp wasn’t far. Would stay here again!

What a Great Space.

The Cottage in the Cove was such a great place for my partner and our pups to visit. The check in instructions were clear and the host was very prompt with all our questions. The house was clean with a fairly well equipped kitchen. The water level of the lake was low during our visit, but the amenities provided by the host ,including the floating dock and kayaks, allowed us to make the most of the lake. They also provided fishing gear which afforded us the opportunity to catch bluegill during the day and catfish in the evenings. The large fenced in yard was perfect for our pups. The shaded lot provided relief from the sun in the hot afternoons. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone who is looking for a low key lake get away.

Great place

Our family loved this house! We brought our older dog who is used to living on our farm. She loved the yard and was able to roam freely thanks to the fenced lot. Everything inside and out of the property was beautiful! This is our third trip to Lake Norman, and our favorite house yet. We wouldn’t change a thing. The kitchen was the nicest and most equipped I have ever had in a rental. We didn’t have a single complaint about our vacation this year.

Perfect pocket in the cove!

Great spot, very clean & modern. Was very impressed with the amenities - we caught a lot of fish off the pier, and had a great time. Next time we'll be taking the kayaks out! Thanks for making it a great experience in NC!

Cottage in the cove

Wonderful property! Had a great time at the cottage. It had everything we needed. Dogs absolutely loved the fenced in yard! Enjoyed the lake, we also brought our boat the dock was wonderful enjoyed some fishing. Hope to return in the future!
