Private 5 Bedroom East Vail Getaway by Gorecreek Rentals

Situated on a quiet East Vail cul-de-sac, this 5 bedroom home boasts comfort, convenience, and the peaceful stillness of nature. The spacious great room is a lovely gathering space for family and friends. Curl up in front of the fireplace after an epic powder day or wander outside and enjoy the saltwater hot tub after a long hike or bike ride. The chef’s kitchen will inspire any cook and the dining table can seat 10 guests comfortably. This property has lots of windows and views, which are a constant reminder of Vail’s great outdoors. There is an available 1 car garage and ample surface parking for 3 more vehicles. A nearby bus stop is available for free shuttle access into the Village. Available for 1 or 2 month stays during ski season.

The primary king bedroom suite is located on the main floor along with the kitchen and living room area. There is an additional twin bedroom with a trundle on this floor as well, that also provides a desk with designated work space. The additional three bedrooms are on the upper level: large bedroom with a king bed, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom, and the 3rd bedroom on the upper level has a king sized bed and a double.

Extremely well stocked - would stay again

The property is beautiful, easily accessible, and extremely well stocked. Did not have a lot of contact with the property management team but what communication I did have was friendly and prompt. The walkway to the hot tub was narrow and snowed over. Would help to have walkway cleared periodically. The step down then the snow is built up is very large. Overall loved our time here. Lots of little extras that made it nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place, Management Unprofessional

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group reserved this home for five nights over St. Patricks Day weekend. The home is spacious, clean, well supplied, and has a great location. I am giving this three stars solely because of management. I communicated with Tere from the beginning. She was very friendly and helpful, until the police showed up at the home at 10:30 PM on the St. Patricks Day. They received a noise complaint from who we assumed to be a neighbor. Our group was loud in the backyard hot tub at 10:30PM on St. Patricks Day. The next morning, I received a call from Tere who in an annoyed and contemptuous tone asked what happened and then explained that quiet hours are 8PM and she could be fined for the incident. After the call, I searched everywhere for the quiet hours of the home/neighborhood/town and found nothing. The contract I signed for the home does not have quiet hours listed, and according to the town of Vail’s noise ordinance listed online, quiet hours start at 11PM. Two days after our checkout on March 22, I texted Tere to inquire about returning our deposit ($1000). She replied with “Within 14 days” and no further explanation. I asked for further explanation and she said it is due to their software and she was also waiting to see if a fine was going to result from the noise complaint. It turns out the police activity in Vail is public record, and you can see on their weekly spreadsheet of calls that they were called to the home at 10:33PM and a warning was issued. Knowing this, I asked Tere if warnings lead to fines and do the powers that be wait five days to fine her. With read receipts on, she ignored me. Eleven days later on April 1 after no communication, my deposit wasreturned after asking Tere again. As someone who owns a business, this interaction was extremely unprofessional. Not only did Tere lie to me about quiet hours, but she strung me along to withhold my deposit for as long as possible. If you stay here, be aware of the neighbors and manag

Good location, great house

Seven of us stayed for our annual ski trip. The manager was very helpful and accommodated a slightly early arrival. Kitchen was very well appointed for our needs - cooked breakfast, made lunches to go, ate out for dinner. The hot tub was a welcome friend at the end of a long day of skiing. We didn’t watch much tv but did enjoy the communal space for evening socializing and sharing of the day’s exploits on the slopes. If we have a group this size or larger, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
