Lake Almanor CC Cabin filtered lake and full mountain view

Our family cabin has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, 2 garages, Wi-Fi(StarLink), Direct Tv, 3 Smart TVs , fireplace, central heat, no a/c (it’s a mountain cabin) full kitchen with all the amenities, washer/dryer, outside BBQ, ping pong table, 2 kayaks, golf cart. Close to Rec 1 and rec 2. This is not a party house,! We have neighbors so be respectful. This cabin is in the perfect location for whatever you choose to do! Your kids can play at the Rec 1 park, play tennis, play basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, or pickleball. Rec 1 is only a few minutes, in golf cart or car, from our cabin.

Three golf courses (closed in winter) and they are: lake Almanor Country Club (9 holes) and less than 3 minutes from the cabin. Bailey Creek Golf Course (18 holes) and 5 minutes away. Lake Almanor West (18 holes) and 20 minutes away from the cabin.

There has always been a fee for bringing a boat (if applicable). The boat fee is for use of the loading ramp and parking privileges by the docks. The boat fee is $125 per week.

Rental and lake stuff. The Knotty Pine Resort and Marina (530) 596-3348 is only a few minutes away. You are able to rent boats, kayaks, jet skis and more.

Wonderful Lake Almanor Home

We have made Lake Almanor our annual summer vacation destination for almost 10 years. We've rented various homes over the years with both good and less than optimal experiences. This home and the owner David, are by far the best of them all. The home is beautiful, clean with all amenities you need including ping pong which we played daily. Loved this place and David is a great host. As a side note, our stay unfortunately coincided with the Park fire. David contacted us unsolicited beforehand and offered a full refund or reschedule if we wanted. We chose to go due to busy school and work schedules but David was very generous in his offer. Thank you!

Very nice for our three families

The ten of us were very comfortable in this home. It was hot (high 80s, low 90s) but opening the windows at night and all the fans helped. The golf cart, beach chairs, ping pong, and ice maker were all great bonuses that we utilized. We fully enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Great Lake House

I absolutely loved the layout of this house and the large primary bedroom. Great deck with a view of the lake. Extremely comfortable and the host was a text away if we had any questions.

Almanor vacation

Our family rented for 5 days. The location is great, just a mile from Knotty Pines marina where we rented a boat. The house is also just a mile from “Rec 1” where we hung out and swam at the beach, we were also able to park the boat for an hour to have a picnic. The area has a golf course and club house where you can have lunch and dinner. The house is amazing with plenty of room for a large family. It has ample outdoor space and a golf cart to get around on. The host was very responsive on any questions we had on the house and the area. We had an amazing time and will come back again.

Great Way to Ring in The New Year!

We booked this house for New Year’s weekend. We had 5 adults and 2 teenagers. The house has a great layout to accommodate multiple people. We never felt crowded. We absolutely LOVED the outdoor building with the golf cart and ping pong table. This house would be great in the summer too, right across the street from the lake with kayaks and everything you need. This is the first VRBO house that had a very well stocked fridge/pantry and he said we could use what we wanted. We tried to pay it forward for the next guest. Overall it was a comfortable stay in a beautiful home. We would definitely stay here again!

Can’t go wrong

Great home for a family vacation

Our family has been visiting Lake Almanor every summer for the last 37 years. We’ve rented many homes during this time (many through a rental broker). Working what David was very easy, the home is very spacious and has all the amenities you will need. Benefits this home has over others: home is well insulated and stays cool throughout the day, paved driveway, use of golf cart, ice maker, comfortable beds, grass area for kids play. We will definitely stay here again!
