Waterfront Home with Dock! Amazing Views! Close To Beaches!

A waterfront house overlooking the Great South Bay and Fire Island with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms plus additional private outdoor shower, dock, kayaks, large wraparound decks with grill and outdoor dining table with umbrella, and open-concept living room/kitchen with wood-burning fireplace!
The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood, directly overlooking the bay and wetlands. Great area for boating, kayaking, fishing, or simply relaxing. Walk to Smith Point Beach on Fire Island in 20 minutes! National wildlife refuge with hiking trails also nearby. Drive to Hamptons or North Fork in 25 to 30 minutes!
Appliances includes refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 80-gallon hot water heater, and fully equipped kitchen. Internet and television provided. The private driveway accommodates up to 4 cars.
Note: for the safety of our guests and ourselves, there is a doorbell camera outside the front door.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Peter’s beautiful home on the bay. Fabulous waterfront views from the outside decks as well as inside the dining and living room. The home was very clean, spacious and comfortable for us. Kitchen was great to cook in, and the beds were very comfortable. Peter was a great host, hope to return again someday.

Stunning, beautiful, tranquil views!Truely a perfect beach house.My favorite moments were sipping coffee on the deck in the mornings. This house was roomy for 6 of us.A few updates are needed because of how the saltwater air eats away at electronics and such, but we absolutely loved it.

Beachy keen!

Great location right over the bridge to Smith Point! Easy access to the beach and nightly music during the summer. The house has space for all and the dock has frequent visits from mallards and swans. Peaceful and lovely. Great hosts!

Beautiful view of Great South Bay!

Fabulous !

Best part was watching the sunrise on the water every morning . View was breathe taking! Since it was October and got cold enough to start a fire in the wood burning fire please , it was great! Pete was very helpful whenever we had questions . Thanks for a great Stay!

My favorite stay on VRBO

I have used VRBO and similar apps for vacation stays. This was my favorite. Location on the water, value, the house, kayaks, amenities....All Perfect. Peter was a very good host answering all inquiries in a very timely manner. I would stay here anytime I return to this area of Long Island.

We had a glorious week; the views are stunning and so relaxing...we couldn't take enough of it in and so enjoyed the duck and swan families. Peter was a terrific host. He was so responsive to any questions or needs. The house was well stocked, clean,spacious with the wonderful wraparound decks. We had our boat there which made the week really perfect for us. The location was convenient and so close to the beach. Had a nice meal out at a good spanish restaurant but mostly grilled and ate dinner with gorgeous sunsets. Peter's home was just right for us and we will be back!

Peaceful getaway

The view of the sound from the deck, or from the kayaks, is incredibly relaxing. We really enjoyed our week with children and grandchildren.

Our stay was perfect! The house location was amazing! The house was clean and had absolutely everything we needed. We got to take the kayaks out, fished on the dock and crabbed. We will definitely stay again if we get to come back to NY!!!!!

Wonderful House w Great Views!

We had a great stay at Bill's place! The home is large, comfortable and has beautiful views of the tributaries and great south bay. The house is equipped with everything you could need, it was just like being in your own home. Communication with Bill was flawless, we had a few questions and all was answered quickly. Thanks again, we loved it :)

Perfect Getaway

While the weather wasn't perfect, everything else was. The house was very cozy. It was like a home away from home. We were close to everything. The owner is very friendly and was helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out. I highly recommend staying here. You won't find anything better.

A Second Beautiful Stay on the South Shore

This was a second time renting. We were not disappointed!. My wife and I walked to the beach each morning. We used all of the kayaks on multiple days even in April it was so fun. Breakfast on the deck is beautiful. Full moon at night gorgeous. Sounds of all the birds so soothing. Bill's communication is exceptional. House contains so many little extra including labels on the light switches. We will hopefully be back again. Thanks so much.

Delightful, with BTV’s - Breath Taking Views

You really can’t appreciate the pictures until you actually look out the windows or walk around on the decks on two decks for yourself, and enjoy the wide beautiful views of coastal wetlands and the long barrier beach beyond; a slightly different view from just about every room in the house. The wildlife is abundant; we saw buffleheads, greater scaups, tufted ducks, Red-breasted Mergansers, and on our last day there was great blue heron sitting on top of the evergreen tree next to the deck. The bedrooms are bright with comfortable beds and the master bedroom has a jacuzzi. There is a full well supplied kitchen that we used everyday, including an electric kettle which you typically see in European homes. It’s in a great location near many full- and half-day attractions. During our week-long stay, we drove over the long and magnificent Robert Moses Causeway to Fire Island and hiked out to the lovely Fire Island Light House and walked the extraordinary beaches. On other days, we drove to the Montauk Light House , took the South Ferry to Shelter Island and then the North Ferry to Greenport. And on rainy days, we put together puzzles and admired the lovely views. This is truly a relaxing destination.

The house was very clean, had all the modern amenities you could want, was very comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen, and amazing view from every room! So close to the beach and Fire Island. Great escape for our family! Will definitely stay here again when in the area. Highly recommend!

We had a great trip and stay . Everything was clean and beautiful. The house is a treasure and the owner was a pleasure to work with. Definitely will be back. The area was perfect many stores. I would definitely recommend especially for the summer the views are priceless.

Even wintertime is wonderful!

This is our first stay at this property in the wintertime. It was wonderful! The fireplace was cozy and the winter views were stunning, especially the nightly view of the Christmas Light Show across the bay. The house is well stocked and the beds are so comfortable. We absolutely LOVED it!

Pete and Renee bought this house in September 2022. We live in New Jersey with our children and hope to spend time at the house occasionally during the summer and throughout the year. When we're not there, we'd love for others to enjoy the beautiful views and fun activities. The previous owner rented the house through VRBO for ~10 years, receiving many, many 5-star reviews. Our goal is to continue providing exceptional hospitality to our guests!

We bought this house because it is close to our relatives in the nearby Hamptons, allowing us to visit our family more often. Also, the waterfront location and views of the sunrise/sunset, wetlands and Fire Island are amazing. The house is directly on the bay and within walking distance of the ocean. A beautiful place to stay all year round.
