I originally booked a different property for this time period so our family could attend a graduation ceremony at the Culinary Institute of America. However, the host cancelled our reservations 2 weeks prior to the event due to property damage. This property was on my original short list for consideration, and I am so happy we had the opportunity to stay here. We arrived late in the evening, and it was really dark! I attempted to open the front door with the code and found that the battery was low on the lock and did not have enough life to accept the code. I was a little panicked and reached out to the host. While waiting on the host to respond, I found the correct door and the code worked. The host responded to my messages within 10 minutes. The home was exactly like the pictures. It was warm and inviting and they really put thought into welcoming their guests. There was a guide for the home with instructions for all the appliances, heating/cooling, Wi-Fi, even the kitchen cabinets (there were hidden drawers!),etc. This was so helpful and appreciated! My favorite feature of the home was the heated floors in the bathroom. That was a wonderful surprise for someone who is always cold. The kitchen was nicely stocked, and we did work the kitchen! We cooked almost all our meals in the home. The home is right beside a beautiful creek. I had more to say but not enough spaced allowed for this review. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and would book here again!
