Located within a small townhouse-style community, this home combines unique mountain architecture with a cozy, open design. Inside, you’ll find a queen bed in the loft and a brand-new full-size sofa bed in the living area.

The A-frame structure, skylight, and dormer window fill the home with natural light and create a bright, inviting atmosphere. Enjoy morning coffee or après-ski evenings surrounded by evergreens and crisp mountain air on the back patio, or relax out front and take in the peaceful setting. Cozy A-frame loft in Davis, WV!

Nestled between Davis and Thomas, and just minutes from Timberline Mountain, Canaan Valley, and Blackwater Falls. Ski, hike, and explore scenic trails and hidden waterfalls.

Near Thomas, Blackwater and Elakala Falls, Lindy Point, Seneca Rocks, and Dolly Sods—a peaceful, adventure-ready home in the High Alleghenies.

Please note: the second bed is a sofa bed, and the loft is accessed by compact stairs typical of small mountain homes, which may not suit guests with mobility concerns. Some photos include wide-angle shots to show layout.

Amazing experience!

This place exceeded our expectations immensely. The owner has thought of everything, right down to the last detail. The kitchenette is fully stocked with literally everything you would need to prepare a meal, right down to a selection of spices. Same for the bathroom and laundry; soaps, shampoos & conditioners, detergent pods, even cotton swabs. You can literally just show up and have everything you need for your stay, other than the food, of course. And as far as that goes it's in a super-convenient location, with a grocery store less than 2 miles away. There are also places to eat and several wonderful little shops in between if you don't feel like cooking yourself. The residence itself was also immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, as seen in the photos in the ad. In the loft bedroom there is a skylight with curtain that you can open and get an extra dose of fresh mountain air. There's a nice little patio on the back with solar powered lighting and privacy dividers from the other patios on either side that add to the coziness, as well. You can also expect to see deer in the wooded area and the yard area adjacent to the property while out back. When I say this place has everything that's not an exaggeration, she's even provided a selection of board games and puzzles to entertain you when you just feel like staying in, as well as televisions both downstairs and in the bedroom. All this for less than the cost of an average hotel room! 10/10 recommended!

Cozy and Comfortable

I needed a place for the weekend while volunteering at a event in Thomas. The location was convenient and the place was as advertised. Its small and great for one or a couple. Communication was great and efficient.

Winter Weekend Getaway

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Charming Loft Cabin! Bridget was great to work with and the accommodations were top notch. The location was great—just a short drive to the shops at Thomas, Blackwater Falls, and ski resorts. We would stay here again!

Delightful stay

We very much enjpyed our three nights at the loft cabin. Nicely appointed and very cute. Caution: stairs to the loft are steep...not great for older folks, etc.

Blackwater Falls vacation

Cabin was nice. Just big enough for 2 people. 1 mile from Blackwater Falls State Park. No fast food restaurants in this little town. Local small town restaurants are good.

Perfect Chalet in a Quiet Neighborhood!!

This was a great stay for us! Everything was clean, and super organized with thoughtful touches everywhere. Bridget not only anticipates what you might need, but also provides strategically placed, helpful reminders that give guidance in solving any issues that might arise. The space was small, but comfortable. Steps to the loft are very steep, but what a cozy space at the top, complete with a perfect bed, and a breezy skylight! We absolutely loved the proximity to Blackwater Falls State Park, as well as the convenient location between Davis, Thomas, and Canaan Valley State Park. This was easily one of our favorite rentals. Thanks so much, Bridget!!

Pre-surgery w/e getaway…

Had a great visit to Davis, Thomas, Blackwater Falls and Lindy Point! Our little cabin was so nice, quaint and quiet and just the perfect size for 2 adults. Our host, Bridget, was awesome as well as she answered any/all questions promptly and made our experience totally stress free! Can’t wait to go back !

Nice Getaway Trip

I enjoyed my stay. Place was small but cute, nice size for two people. Would stay again. Wish there was more provided for our stay. We ran out of trash bags and could not find any dish towels or sponges. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Amazing!!

This cabin is amazing! Everything is so close by you can go to the state park and back in just a few minutes. If I had to have a complaint it would just be with how squeaky the loft is but it just adds to the charm. I also had some problems with getting the heating to work but that could definitely be my fault. I would recommend this cabin to anyone in a heartbeat!

This is a very convenient and cozy place to stay at when visiting the Canaan Valley resorts and Davis. The location is great - close to the main road and a few minutes away from all attractions. We enjoyed our stay and hoping to come back soon!

Ideal Mountain Loft

This rental is a cozy and comfortable loft apartment in a perfect location. Close to Blackwater Falls State Park and the hidden gems of Davis and Thomas in the mountains of West Virginia. We were only passing through for a one night rest on our way back south but we would love to return and stay longer.
