Wonderful stay at a cozy quiet place. Everything we needed for the time we were there. Host is very responsive and the house was stocked with items needed incase we forgot something. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home, everything that you would need was furnished. Loved the huge back porch and all the nice outdoor furniture. We did have bad internet connections. This was our second time there, hope to return again.

Moher / Daughter weekend

Wonderful Property

We had an incredible time at this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the cleanliness, thoughtful touches, and the peaceful ambiance of the home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the living area was so comfortable and inviting. The bedrooms were spacious and cozy – perfect for a restful night’s sleep.

Great weekend getaway

We had a fantastic weekend stay here. It was a bit of a drive to the attractions we enjoyed, but we did not mind. Coming home to this really quiet spot and staying in this beautifully decorated house was well worth it. It had all the amenities we needed and then some. We hope to come back again!

Very nice place to relax with family. Great selection of movies to watch if the weather gets too bad. Comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. Weather hiking or skiing a great place!

April weekend

We had a wonderful time in the nice and cozy home. Plenty of room outside for our labrador to roam. We enjoyed exploring nearby Blackwater Falls and Deep Creek Lake, MD. Learned alot for future vacation plans to the area.

Perfect and Relaxing

The place is very nice and has everything you need to just relax for a weekend. Close to all local attractions and very easy to get to. Shannon remained in contact from the time I requested to stay through our departure. Pet friendly house and area. If you are considering to visit the area The place is awesome and is large enough for big family or a couples get away.

Wonderful place!

The house was wonderful and the location was perfect. It was a plus we were able to bring our pups along with us for a weekend ski trip. The house was so clean and cozy. We had a temporary heating issue in the house but was resolved quickly by family members of the owners. They also were wonderful. Highly recommend!

Perfectly maintained

The entire property is stocked, clean and fresh. It was a nice quiet atmosphere. Everything looked brand new. The master bedroom bed was incredibly comfortable. We were close enough to our ski destination at Timberline and glad we chose it as an affordable place to stay. I would recommend driving a 4-wheel drive vegicle if you’re coming in the winter..

Beyond expectations!

This house surpassed the pictures and our expectations! It is beautifully furnished and was a very comfortable and quiet spot to unwind after our days of hiking. The house had all needed amenities and the kitchen is well equipped. We also enjoyed the new, large covered back deck. And Shannon was a great host who responded quickly to any questions:) We enjoyed our stay, would book this house again if in the area, and would definitely recommend to others!

Was amazed when going in , looked just like the pictures, so clean, beautifully decorated, had everything in the kitchen supplies imaginable. Went to visit friends and was very located just a few miles from them. Loved the huge back deck, wanted to eat out there but was raining and could not get to it unless we got out in the rain, need door in dining room to get to it. Would definitely stay again if we go back that way. Have already told her son about it and he is interested in checking it out.

Exactly as pictured

The home is beautifully decorated, with artful touches and all the homey little touches. The couch and beds are extremely comfortable, the layout is open and spacious, the kitchen is stocked with basic spices and cookware and the property is sprawling and perfect for kids or pets. We had an incredible short getaway with our kids and pup. Everyone had fun sledding at Blackwater Falls, hiking nearby even in the -5° actic blast, and exploring the property. We enjoyed riverside pizza and many hours playing boardgames and watching movies at the cozy cabin. Thank you so much for having us! Highly recommend for anyone looking to visit the area.

Almost Heaven

The lawn of the home was very well manicured. There was also sufficient seating on the exterior, if needed or desired. Additionally, there was more than enough parking. The inside of the homes decor was warm and inviting throughout. To say that the home was clean is an understatement . It’s CLEAN ! The kitchen was extremely functional and the host supplied some snacks and bottled water. There is a washer and dryer available ( with pods) which is the cherry on top. This is a top rate property and could be used as a model for how to setup a VRBO.

Best Place!!!

We absolutely LOVED staying here! Shannon was super communicative and the house is exactly as described. It is up to date, very open, comfy, super clean! It snowed and was very cold while we were here, but the house stayed warm and cozy. It has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need, huge dining room table for gatherings, huge sectional to relax at the end of the day. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the back deck.....I can't even tell you how awesome that thing is! Shannon provided tons of towels and linens (a lot of places do not) and your basic toiletries as well as laundry pods if you forgot your detergent like me! The neighborhood is quiet and you are secluded by yourself on top of a hill. It was absolutely perfect for our one week stay. We are headed back this way for work and if this place is available, I already know we will book again! And our dogs LOVED exploring outside. Book this place, you will not be disappointed!!

Great vacation spot

We came up to WV for my husband grandfathers memorial. This house met our expectations and more. It’s beautiful, cozy, and clean. The deer visited every evening, we had dinners and breakfast on the huge back porch. The host thought of all the small things. Water in the fridge, dish soap and dishwasher soap in the kitchen. A snack tray of individual chips, laundry soap and even mini shampoos and conditioners in the bathroom. And enough toilet paper that we didn’t have to buy any!! It’s all the little things that add up when you are on vacation. This is the cutest house ever and we will definitely be back when we go back to see family.

Nice place to get away for the weekend

It is nice sized ,very clean and everything is new. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The grounds are well kept. You are out in the country, I am not sure the closest store, so bring whatever food and beverages you need.
