Very worn house

My family of 4 stayed for 12 days. The location was close to Disney, stores and restaurants, but it took at least half hour to get to Universal and Sea World due to traffic. The house was spacious, but very worn. The couches and carpet need cleaned, faucets were broke, hair in the pool, spa did not work despite telling pool man when he was at the house. I messaged company about spa and the response was that the pool company and rental company are 2 different companies, no one told me that. So it was never fixed during our stay. The community pool gets very crowded, get there early for chairs. This house backs up to a very busy road so it is loud when you are trying to relax in the pool..that was the most annoying part of the trip.

Christmas in Orlando

The house was very nice and spacious. Would suggest changing out sectional sofa in living room. The individual pieces kept moving when trying to sit down or get up. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the heated pool and spa because by the time we were ready to get in on Christmas day, the water was no longer heating. Reported issue but was not fixed by the time we left. Other wise, great community with easy access to everything. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent family property 15 minutes from Disney. Very spacious and clean. Host had excellent response time and was super helpful and informative. Would highly recommend this location and can't wait to return!

Disney Family Vacation

This our second time staying at Storey Lake Kings Castle location. Overall this is a great property. Location to the pool is great and is easy to get to all of the parks. We did have some issues with the shower plumbing when we first arrived and they sent someone out to fix right away. I will say that the kitchen could use some more utensils. We are a family that cooks all of our meals and found the kitchen to be a little lacking. With that being said if we were to visit this area again we would definitely book in Storey Lake again. Can’t beat the location.

Great House and location

This was a great house. Plenty of room for everyone. The only thing we didn't know beforehand was that two of the king bedrooms are on the first floor and only one had a private bathroom. That would have been helpful to know since we have young children and only 1 Families Parent's could be upstairs where the kids were sleeping. We also had to buy a bigger pan which we left there as the others were really small for a house of 10 when making dinners. Would have been great to have a grill as well. The couch was a little worn and had some rips in it. One of the dining room chairs was missing as well. All in all a great vacation and the house was in a great location.

Bring your own things!

If you stay here you will need to bring pretty much everything with you, pots, pans, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, paper towel, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee, coffee filters, sugar... Small coffee pot, only makes 8 small cups. The location was great, however the back of the house goes out to the main road OUTSIDE of the gated complex with no wall or fence blocking it. Also arrived in Orlando at 9 AM and asked for an early check in, I was able to get in the house at 3PM only an hour earlier than check in time. Other than that, it is very nicely decorated and the house was clean with great location as far as Orlando attractions are concerned.

This property was extremely nice and exactly as depicted in the photos. It’s perfect for a group with lots of gathering space. The property was clean with very nice furnishings. We would definitely rent it again.

Our excellent experience

We walked into the house and were very impressed by the decor and luxury of the rooms especially the upstairs master bathroom with its spa tub and double sink and large beautiful shower. The double bunk beds were fun, too, especially for my granddaughter. Everything was just as pictured on the site. The big, beautiful kitchen was well stocked with utensils and worked well for us. I am especially grateful to the management for coming through on letting us get into the house early. Thank you. The only thing stressful was messages back and forth with you and not getting the same answers from different people. It didn't help that I did not have a smart phone and I could not download the Vrbo app. So I was stressed out about getting the house code, etc. on time, but everything did work out and we were very happy and my son's wedding was perfect! Thanks again and I would definitely rent from you again. It was magical!

13th Birthday Trip

Great house with lots of room for all our guests. The kids loved the themed rooms. Shopping and grocery stores were close by. The neighborhood pool area was awesome! Something for everyone to do. Gate access was a bit of a hassle since the QR code was not scanning, but otherwise everything was fantastic.

Beautiful home with great amenities

We had a great weekend at this home. The home is very clean and is close to the main resort clubhouse. The clubhouse has great amenities like poolside bar, lazy river, water slides, kids splash area and an ice cream shop. The pool at the home isn't large but is great for the kids when back at the house. We had three children with us and they LOVED the kids room with two loft beds. My daughter is still asking when we can go back. We paid extra to have the pool heated which was well worth it. I can't think of anything I would change and we will be returning in the future.

Great Resort and Home

We had a wonderful time at Storey Lake Resort. This house was perfect. We had 10 people (4 Adults and 6 Children) and we stayed for a week. The home easily fit all of us. We are trying to plan a return trip now!!

Good family getaway

My son was married in Orlando and I wanted a place where several family members could stay together. This home was wonderful for that. The floor plan kept us from feeling like we were in each other’s way. The furnishings and other amenities were in excellent condition. The only problem we had was trying to change the station on any of the televisions in the entire house. I would definitely return.

house was perfect

We stayed for 4 nights at this home and was very satisfied with everything. Although we spent the best part of the day at the various theme parks, the grandchildren were able to use the house pool on 2 evenings and they loved it.

Nice house

If you are looking for a quiet and nice place to stay, this is it. The house has a few issues that were communicated to the management, hope they take care of it. The only tip I can provide to the next guest is there is no much pots and pans so if you are planning on cooking, check what they have available or plan on buying/bringing some from home so you don’t have that surprise at last minute.

Beautiful! Comfortable space for 3 families.

Fantastic stay overall. Needs more cookware, especially big fry pans. And a GRILL! Like other VRBO’s, would be nice if spices, olive oil, dish soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. that were left behind would stay in house. We bought a crockpot, hopefully it becomes a staple in the house. We also bought most of the above items as I’m sure those before us did as well. A real outside garbage can seems more practical than that bench out front that won’t even hold one full garbage bag let alone enough for a long weekend.
