Colonial Oasis w/Pool & Spa 🏖 Near Hwy, Sleeps 9

Beautiful colonial home on HUGE lot w/excellent private parking, in ground pool & cabana, plus hot tub off back deck, and space to sleep 9! Prime location close to multiple highways - 10 mins from Plaza, 12 mins from downtown! 2 full baths are both brand new! Kitchen is stocked well with cooking necessities and coffee/tea bar! We're pet friendly and have a .7 acre lot to run wild on! Enjoy your coffee in the mudroom or back deck. Washer/dryer are bedroom level. Each bedroom has its own smart TV and living room has 65"!
The space
Home is a beautiful 2,000 sq ft, 3 bed with 2.5 baths that are all freshly remodeled. Gorgeous refinished hardwood floors run the entirety of the house with Art Deco accents throughout. Home has traditional colonial feel with contemporary touches and modern amenities. Kitchen is bright and fully equipped for any cooking needs a guest may have. Dining room is a great spot for family meals with a table large enough to seat 8. Mud room off of living room is a great space to enjoy your morning coffee or walk out back on the oversized back deck overlooking the .7 acre lot and occasional dear spotting! In the summer time enjoy the large in ground pool with cabana and
outdoor bar. Tons of pool floaties and toys provided. Plus grill and grilling tools provided!

**Home does sit on a busy street. We provide white noise machines in each bedroom in case any guests are sensitive to street noise.**

**Pool is open until 09/10/2024- bookings after this date will not have pool access.**

**Guests will park in the back of the house during their stay. There is plenty of parking for multiple cars. When turning around, don’t worry about driving on the grass. That’s no problem if it makes maneuvering easier. :) Just please don’t park on the grass.**
Guest access
As a guest, you have access to most parts of the house including all living spaces, mud room, and the full lot. Please make yourself at home and enjoy all our property has to offer.

The only spot off limits (unless a storm rolls through) is the basement and attic.

Outbuildings are off limits and pool is off limits during the off season.
Other things to note
The house does sit on a busier street that can occasional street noise. We provide white noise machines in the three bedrooms if the guest needs it. :)

Great stay

Property was exactly as advertised. The house was very clean and the master bedroom bed was very comfortable! Pool was great, even though the weather didn't cooperate for us, we still enjoyed it. Would recommend and stay here again!

Beautiful home located in a nice neighborhood surrounded by plenty of stores and food places. Home was very clean and had everything we needed. Owner was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again if I travel to KC area!

Our Mini Vacation

This house has been one of the best homes we have stayed in. The owner was very helpful and was very good communicating with me. I loved that there was a washer and dryer in the house and also of course the one thing everyone loved the most was the pool!

We had a wonderful stay at your place. I guess the only downfall was getting into the driveway from a busy street to a narrow driveway. But it wouldn't deter us from staying there again. We loved it and had a great time in the pool.

Nice place

The house has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful updated bathrooms were especially nice. We spent most of our time at the pool, where there is plenty of poolside seating & a cabana with a fridge, towels, floaties, etc. The host responded quickly when I had questions.

Loved this home and location!!!

To kick of my 50th birthday week, my husband, son, and my cousin and his wife and daughter stayed here for our KC Chiefs weekend!!! The home had everything we could have possibly needed, including shampoo and conditioner, which we all forgot. The snacks weee an added bonus!! Thank you for the hospitality!!!

Great Vacation in KC Suburb!

This is the rental home you need to book for your stay in KC! The house was fantastic, renovated, and clean, and the wonderful pool made even the hottest summer day enjoyable. My wife and I cannot speak more highly of this property, the property manager, and the seamless checkout process. I’ve already recommended this property to family and friends for a repeat trip! This will be the only house I’ll stay at in the KC metro area!

Friends Trip

This property was perfect for what we wanted! We were out of the “busyness” of the city, but were less than 15 minutes from it, so easy to get there when we wanted & still had plenty of restaurants & conveniences close by when we didn’t! The private pool was wonderful! We really enjoyed having a space like that all to ourselves! The home was beautiful & stocked with VERY nice bath & shower products and the towels were very high quality! We loved it and hope to go back!

Great spot in tremendous KC Location

We took a long weekend to travel down to Kansas City and loved this spot. It was very easy to get around the metro and could be anywhere in 20-25 minutes max. Home was very nice and in good condition. They had a hot tub which we used quite a bit and while the pool wasn’t ready for summer use, I think that would be a highlight for those staying while it’s hot outside. All in all we had a great experience and I’d recommend for anybody looking to travel down to the Kansas City area.

Nicest vrbo yet. From the amenities to the beautiful home. The kitchen was COMPLETELY stocked and we wanted for nothing. It was the closest to a real home that I have experienced. Silverware and plates matched, towels, etc. The furniture, linens, etc didn't look like it was just picked up from the Salvation Army. We really enjoyed our stay.

Above and Beyond

We were already impressed with the property and the amenities but then KC had a horrible storm that knocked out power to hundreds of thousands. They came out to check on the property before the rain stopped, stayed in communication, dropped off flashlights and batteries, and then the next day brought out a generator and had it installed to get the place back up and running. Really impressed and very nice local owners. Very dog and kid friendly. Great pool.

30th Birthday Party

The home was perfect for us! We specifically chose this place because of the pool and hot tub which was amazing! The only bad thing was several workers came by the house to do different things (roofers, getting estimates, etc) so we didn’t feel comfortable laying out by the pool for several hours while men were outside. Other than that, the house had several accommodations like white noise machines, towels, Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom, and Netflix on all TVs which was amazing! Overall, amazing house!

Beautiful Home

Pros: house was extremely clean, easily accessed, great communication, free coffee & tea, comfy beds, quiet area, and check in and out was smooth. Had everything we needed and then some! Cons: QR code for thermostat did not work. Woke up to 63degrees and chilly. The bed we stayed in squeaked with any small movement literally all night and we barely slept at all. Second night we actually opted to just sleep on the floor.

Nice home

Its a nice home on a busy road with a pool and hot tub. No issues checking in. I did email weeks in advance to see if the pool would be ready but didnt get a response until we were leaving, that according to the site its ready in June, we stayed mid-May. I would not have stood if I knew sooner. My daughter swam in the pool and ended up sick for three days. The cabanna was filthy but why not if the pool wasnt ready. The first day of our stay the main bathroom tub was clogged. Six people had to share the primary bathroom to shower that night. Luckily two decided to wait til the morning but the plumber was supposed to arrive at 0900 but showed up at 1030. There is no grill so we went and bought a small one to BBQ outside. Overall it was a nice home with beautiful remodeled bathrooms. The owner put a few snacks and water in the fridge for us which was nice. This is our first Abb so it was weird that the homeowner or maintenance were there daily. I am thankful that we were able to bring our small terrier who had fun running around the backyard. Last note: the string lights outside are on a timer to shut off at midnight would be nice if occupants could turn them off so we can go to bed earlier, we had a lot of museums and things to do in the morning.

We purchased this home in 2016 because it embodies classic historical beauty and sits on a stunning .75 acre lot. It's in an amazing central location that's close to downtown KC, but also close to areas in southern and eastern Johnson County. And the scenery is peaceful and charming, with tons of wildlife sitings while enjoying summers at the private in ground pool and cabana. It really is the perfect oasis.
