It's only a mile from the Mendenhall Lake and River, with hiking, biking, walking, among the scenic views of the Mendenhall Glacier and surrounding mountains. And just 3 miles to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, Nugget Falls, bear viewing and more. It's convenient to the airport and the ferry terminal for easy access if arriving late or departing early. This place has something for everyone.

This efficiency apartment in the Mendenhall Valley is nestled in a friendly neighborhood, close to several hiking trails. The beautiful log home brings a warm glow to this inviting and private space. There is a large leather couch that has a pull out queen sleeper and a 43" TV setup with Hulu Live TV, Max, Disney+, Paramount+, and Peacock to round out the entertainment space. The entire space is clean, comfortable, and uniquely Alaskan. There is a large counter-height desk where you can enjoy a meal, or work on your laptop using the fast wireless Internet connection. The outside deck has a fireplace and peaceful view of the surrounding forest.

The kitchen is fully stocked, with newer appliances, including a full-size oven range. The full sized refrigerator has ice and chilled water dispensers. Full set of dishes, glass wear, cooking utensils, Keurig machine and some basic cooking essentials will help you get started during your stay.

The king-size bed boasts a high quality memory foam mattresses, bedside USB charging stations, and a barn door closet for storage. A new washer and dryer are conveniently located in the bathroom.

This home is a 10 minute drive from the airport and ferry terminal or 25 minutes to downtown Juneau. Bus stops are a five minute walk away. Skaters Cabin, Mendenhall Glacier and Auke Bay are a short drive or bike ride away. Excellent trails are nearby as well as fishing charters, kayak rentals, river rafting, cycle tours, whale watching and many local restaurants.
