The Gathering Place, rent the entire home

The Gathering Place reflects back to mom and dad back in 1946.
When you walk in the back entryway, pictures will tell "the rest of the story."
Spacious kitchen, three (3) bedrooms, bathroom with a shower/ tub. Large, combined dining area/living room.
Two (2) enclosed porches. Washer/dryer can be used . Off-street parking along in front of the already occupied three (3) car garage.

If your a traveling nurse, mins away from Erie hospitals, St. Vincent's, Hamot & LECOM CAMPUS. Also close to the Millcreek Mall, Presque Isle State Park and Waldameer Park & Water World and much more.

The house sits on a 3/4 lot with privacy all around the house. Quite neighborhood. If you enjoy morning walks this is the place to stay since there is very little traffic on our block.

The kitchen is spacious and the house speaks for itself since you feel welcomed into the home like it's your own.
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house. We want you to feel welcomed as if you were back home. The back and front porches are great to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee/tea to relax in the morning before you start your day.
Other things to note
There is a fire pit in the backyard that can be used should you want to sit and have a beer or a glass of wine to end the evening. You'll find it peaceful as you listen to the night crickets as your sitting by the fire.

Everything was great. House was like traveling back to grandma and grandpas house but Ina great way. Comfortable , lot of space and just enough quirky original things that made it memorable.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very well kept and everything was neat as a pin, and it was exceptionally clean. The location was great. The host was wonderful to deal with and communication was excellent.We would definitely stay here again.

The property was exactly as advertised, and the owners were great. They offered many things to do when our original plans fell through. I'd absolutely stay here again if I come back to town.

Pleasant stay

We came up to Erie for the surprise proposal of our granddaughter. This place was close to the beach and the dinner afterwards. We loved all the vintage finds around the house. It was nice and quiet.

Blast from the Past

My sister and I made an off season visit to Erie to help settle our father into the Pennsylvania Soldier’s and Sailor’s Home. We were looking for somewhere comfortable we could relax and unwind. When we arrived, it was as though we stepped back in time to childhood and into the home of our great grandparents. The appliances, especially the old GE fridge, were amazing! The console television used as a tv stand is a relic. What a comforting, welcoming place to be! Thank you so much, Craig and Annie.

Fantastic little time capsule

An absolutely wonderful stay in a beautiful home with tons of preserved memories throughout time. Despite the beds being a pretty stiff, without a reasonable doubt a resounding 5/5.

The property was as advertised, it was like stepping back into my grandmothers home. The communication and check in process was easy and effortless. It did not have ac which was not listed but had many fans and stayed cool considering outside temperatures. The property was clean and maintained. Just for reference as I appreciate the information when I’m looking at properties the beds were very firm.

Our review

Property was in a quiet neighborhood. Interior was very clean and well stocked with everything anyone would need, large bedrooms with very firm mattresses, extra blankets and pillows, and large spaces. Backyard was well kept with ferns, flowering bushes, firepit, with the sounds of many birds and rabbits munching on grass.

When I met my husband Craig, we bought a house around the corner from his mom and dad's home on West 25th St. I always fell in love with mom and dads house on 24th St. When mom and dad passed we bought the house to keep it in the family. So here we are blessing others to enjoy the family homestead. Nothing like memories of being home!
That's why we call it "The Gathering Place."

The house sits on a 3/4 acre lot with a spacious back yard. Foliage all around the area so there 's a lot of privacy to sit and enjoy a picnic with the family.
10 mins away from Gannon University .8 mins away from Millcreek Mall if you like to shop. 10 mins away from Presque Isle State Park ( beach) If you like to golf, plenty of golf courses around . You can even ride your bike around the neighborhood.
Plenty of places to eat too.
Or order a pizza and sit in the backyard by the campfire.
