Location was excellent. We enjoyed evenings on the patio. Kitchen was well stocked as were paper products.Furnishings were old. Some definitely need replaced (especially the blue couches in the family room). Some of the air conditioners didn’t work well . Knobs were missing from dresser drawers. Lamp shade in front room needs replaced (torn and hanging). Lamps should all have light bulbs and be working.

Old world charm in the perfect location

What a great week ! House was huge and plenty of room to bring all and with every bedroom having their own bathroom all can get ready at the same time (was a bed and breakfast house converted into summer rental). Kitchen has been recently renovated and updated and location, location, LOCATION. So nice to be able to walk to all. Thanks so much and will see you on the next trip !

Amazing Charm

We stayed for a weekend and just could not take everything in. The home was beautifully unique with a gorgeous renovated kitchen. It was wonderful for a large group because there were many areas to escape to, yet a large screened in porch and dining room to collect in. The location was very handy and home was very clean.

Happeney House - Labor Day Weekend

I rented this house with a large group of friends for Labor Day weekend. We have rented the house before and it's always been great, awesome location, clean, outdoor space, etc. However, this year we went out downtown and came home to our house being robbed of virtually anything valuable we had (laptops, cell phones & accessories, kindles, ipods, ipads, computers, jewelry, expensive bags, glasses/sunglasses, etc). We believe the theives to be local residents that target large groups of tourists staying on the island and we believe that they were watching out house. We have not been able to recover our stolen items, I would highly recommend anyone staying in this home to make sure they lock up any valuables and keep all of the doors locked at all times, and any spare keys hidden.

HaPenny Labor Day Weekend

HaPenny Labor Day Weekend Rental We rented Ha'Penny House this past Labor Day Weekend and it was perfect for our rather large group of friends (8 couples). Having rented on Nantucket in the past, this house really met all our needs from location (steps to town) to the bedrooms, it was absolutely perfect for our group and would highly recommend to others. Each of the bedrooms had a bathroom and shower in it, so waiting for a shower was never an issue. The kitchen was amazing, fully upgraded with high end appliances, surround sound speakers for music and had a great back yard off the kitchen for outdoor enjoyment. Highly recommend this property. Wedding Weekend on Nantucket

My son married a Nantucket girl this September and we rented the Ha'Penny House to accomodate my rather large family. The location was absolutely perfect. A very short walk to town and directly across from the beautiful Congregational Church. In fact, the Saturday of our stay we got to see one of the 40+ weddings that took place on the island right at the church which included bagpipe players and an amazing white Rolls Royce! The house absolutely met all of our needs and worked really well for our group. Everyone was happy with their rooms and we had a great time congregating in the kitchen and the lovely back yard and sun porch. Only wish we could have spent more time relaxing and enjoying the house.

HaPenny House

This home is an old girl but was perfect for our needs! She was very well equipped and the location was just what we wanted! The pictures do not do it justice. The back courtyard is totally enclosed which was perfect for pets & children! There are so many nooks & crannies that it never felt crowded even though we had the bedrooms full! A big plus was the bathrooms with each bedroom. Would definitely recommend for large group!
