The Space:
Raintree is an experience. This luxurious oasis nestled in the canopy has been thoughtfully planned, every detail having been considered with your enjoyment, and integration into + respect for the jungle in mind.

Nestled in Nosara, in Costa Rica’s Blue Zone on the Guanacaste Peninsula, this charming community where the jungle meets the sea is known for it’s sunsets, it’s surf, it’s restaurants from gourmet to grass roots, it’s world class yoga opportunities, and it’s passion for sustainable and healthy lifestyle choices. It is a place where you instantly feel at home, and at peace.

Completed in August of 2022, this project was designed (architecture + interiors) by International Award Winning Architect Benjamin G Saxe of Studio Saxe, and built by Prodeyco; the results are astounding, ensuring that time spent at Raintree leaves you with treasured memories that will stay with you forever.

Raintree is a completely enclosed estate, providing a one acre private sanctuary shared only with the wildlife, birds and butterflies attracted to the fragrance and flavors of our tropical gardens + edible forest. Let your imagination wander as you follow our jungle trail, exploring our little piece of paradise, while helping yourself to the myriad of tropical fruits growing on the property for your enjoyment.

On a quiet, private ridge just above South Playa Pelada , the Northern beach of Nosara, we offer both walking distance to the beach (less than 10 minutes) + the areas’ best (and only) beachfront restaurant (La Luna) as well as stunning ocean and sunset views from our terraces- not often captured with this proximity to the ocean. Trails connect walkers to the many charming offerings and surf breaks of North Guiones, and Playa Guiones. Though walking opportunities abound, a vehicle is recommended, an ensures that you have access to all amenities the area has to offer all within a 5-10 minute drive.

Raintree’s luxurious modern-industrial design is softened by it’s marriage with nature and it’s integration of organic materials. With solar panels capturing the sun’s energy, a bionest for water treatment and repurposing (for landscape irrigation), as well as composting and recycling opportunities, and the exclusive use of biodegradable cleaning and hygiene products, you can wallow in luxury with the comfort that you are making the smallest possible footprint on this treasured jungle community.

Our entire estate is alarmed and monitored with security cameras for your enhanced peace of mind, and high speed internet is available throughout. All gates, entry doors, and sleeping quarters offer keyless entry for both ease and security. Raintree House has a back up generator.

With four bedrooms on the main floor as well as a fresh air surf lounge with TV that easily converts to a covered jungle’s edge yoga Shala, take your pick of sanctuaries each offering central air conditioning, jungle terraces and luxurious en-suites.

Our upper floor welcomes you to the master suite and our dining, living and expansive terrace areas all equipped with Sonos speakers, as well as a generous second story infinity pool to ensure that both the views and the jungle breeze are being enjoyed at every opportunity.

A gourmet social kitchen equipped to any chef’s delight, as well as an kitchen and bbq is at your disposal, where you can gather with friends and family to prepare meals shared either indoors or in our grand outdoor dining space (seats 14+) to savor the ocean views. Or hire one of our amazing local chefs to take care of your every need while you make the most of our relaxation opportunities. The kitchen offers an integrated reverse osmosis drinking water system, as well as full pantry and laundry amenities at your finger tips.

Our generous terrace and sparkling salt water infinity pool offer abundant lounging and social spaces whether you prefer, sun shade, or to have your toes in the water, the perfect space awaits you.

With a maximum occupancy of 14, our home can accommodate extended family, multi family, chosen family, retreats and special occasions with ease. For larger groups our studio can be added to your booking and can readily accommodate 2-3 additional guests.
