White Pelican: 3 dormitorios, 2 baños casa impecablemente mantenida. Se sienta en un gran lote de golfo a bahía frente al Golfo para ver el agua desde cada ventana de la casa. Enorme terraza y porche con pantalla en el golfo, con vistas a hermosas dunas de arena y playa privada. La cubierta delantera da a Alligator Bay y al área de bosque natural. Duerme 7. Aire acondicionado, lavavajillas, lavadora / secadora, TV por cable, DVD, VCR, parrilla de gas, totalmente amueblado. Internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad y televisión por cable.


Servicios: pisos de madera noble en todo, dos camas queen, literas con cama doble y una individual; recientemente remodelado; Mostradores de cocina de piedra de jabón y nuevo segundo baño; microondas, cafetera, lavavajillas, cocina totalmente amueblada, ventiladores de techo, TV por cable y videocasetera, parrilla a gas; Las puertas de vidrio de 16 pies de ancho dan a un gran porche con pantalla, playa privada.


Actividades: zona muy tranquila. No hay parques temáticos, montañas rusas, parques infantiles, etc. Compras en 30-45 minutos; Los viajes a Carrabelle, Wakulla, Apalachicola, East Point, Tallahassee son populares. Los barcos de pesca en alta mar parten de varios puertos deportivos locales. Maravillosos restaurantes a 15 minutos en coche. La pesca de surf frente a la casa este año produjo caballa española, platija, merlán y Redfish.


Área: Alligator Point es un tramo estrecho de tierra de aproximadamente 4 millas de largo. La mayoría de los mapas no lo enumeran. Hace años, el área se llamaba 'Lighthouse Point' antes de desarrollarse. Nuestra casa está en la parte más estrecha, por lo tanto, la ubicación del golfo a la bahía. Nuestro patio trasero es el Golfo de México; Nuestro patio delantero es Alligator Bay. Agradable y fácil camino de arena a través de las dunas hasta la playa ... se puede acceder a la bahía en la parte delantera de la casa y recientemente agregamos un muelle de 420 'para pesca y amarre para botes disponible a pedido (solicite detalles).

La carretera 98 es la carretera principal que corre a lo largo de la costa. Alligator Drive (Highway 370) corta a la península al oeste del gran puente sobre la bahía de Ochlocknee. Compras ligeras están disponibles dentro de los 15 minutos de la casa.

Los alquileres suelen tener un mínimo de 7 días, pero algunas excepciones y se realizan de domingo a domingo a menos que se hagan otros arreglos.

White Pelican is a lovely, cozy house. I stayed here with two friends and we enjoyed having two separate sitting areas. It's great to have both the screened porch and the outdoor porch. The few steps up to the front door also make loading and unloading easy. I've rented from Josh a number of times over the years and he is always very responsive. His properties are nicely decorated and generally well-appointed. The only reason I did not give this property a five star rating is due to the appliances being, while functional, rather worn. Nonetheless, I would certainly rent this house again!

Great communication with owner. Wonderful location. Caught reds an trout from the beach. An boys loved catching blue crabs off the dock. Seen lots of dolphins from the beach and dock. There were a few items of the house that needed attention, but we were at the end of summer. Im sure they will be addressed. Looking at coming back next year . Overall it was a great week vacation and the owner was Awesome.

Perfect vacation

Fabulous & Relaxing

This was a girls get away heaven! The beach was very private and relaxing. The home was just as we were hoping. Kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed for cooking. Josh the property manager came out right away when we had an issue. He fixed the problem ASAP. This was everything we hoped for and more we will definitely be back

Wanted to stay forever

Look no further. Book your vacation of solitude at the White Pelican. Josh's place is perfect for a week of being on a beach with barely anyone around. We had the beach to oursleves. Only saw a few walkers pass by. We had the pleasure of two nights hanging out with our neighbors who were renting one of Josh's other properties. We kayaked the bay and enjoyed watching the birds. On the beach, we loved watching the dophins pass by and the pelicans dive bombing the water. I could do that all day. Swimming the ocean was great. The nights were spent watching the gorgeous sunsets. Posey's had great hush puppies and grouper. Enjoyed shrimp tacos and chimichangas at Las Palmas. We ended up shopping at the IGA about 40 mintes away. We do wish that we had taken Josh's advice to stop at the Publix or Walmart on the way from Tallahasee airport. But the Tide Creek Market- I think that was the name-has some provisions and a delicious cheese dip that we enjoyed. We really didn't want to leave the house. We loved the drive to Apppalachai (sp?) and the chocolate factory there had great treats and delisious baked goods. But, the best part was meeting Tator-Josh's dog. Loved him so much and of course that we had a chance to meet Josh while he was in the area. Great, down to earth guy! I really didn't want to leave, so much so, that we started to look for property in the area. The Forgotten Coast is perfect for those, like us, who wanted to enjoy the beach in peace! Thank you!

Beautiful location!

House was just as described! Very clean, beautiful location. Host was very easy to communicate with. Multiple days of just sitting on the deck with book in hand, watching the dolphins play! Kitchen was well stocked, which made it so convenient. We only left one day out of 7 to dine out. Such a relaxing vacation!

Perfect!

Exactly perfect for our family (11, 12 & 19 w/ parents). Everyone had a blast. What a gem to have bay-front AND gulf-front! Couldn’t decide which side offered a better sunset! Alligator point is amazing and there’s certainly plenty to do, places to eat, things to see. You can have 30A….. give me the Forgotten Coast! The house is excellent, just as advertised, well decorated and furnished. Everything was simple and seamless. No issues! And the ice maker just takes it next level! Definitely hope to make it back.

Loved this beach experience

Highly recommend. The house was comfortable, very clean and up to date. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. So much exploring and playing on the beach; there is still a lot of wildlife around due to low tourism in the area. Highly recommend if you want a quiet beach and few distractions.

Amazing spot

The best home we have stayed in to date! Loved the location, right on the beach! Home was comfortable and clean. My only suggestion would be to add a teapot for tea drinkers. Thanks for the wonderful vacation!

Our second visit to Alligator Point and first time staying at the White Pelican did not disappoint. The house offers lots of space for everyone, the screened porch and deck were perfect spaces to enjoy a cup of coffee and read. Amazing views of the Gulf and quiet beach made our family's Christmas at the beach exactly what we all needed!

Exploring the Area

My stay included biking in Bald Point State Park and walking to the nature preserve at the west end of alligator point. The beach house was excellent. Really nice screened porch and deck. Beautiful beach with lots of shells on days when tide brings them in! My friends and I enjoyed this house and location, even with a couple of days of rain.

Awesome get-a-way

What’s not to like about the Gulf steps away from your back door and the Bay with a private 420’ dock steps away from your front door. A fisherman’s dream! The house was clean and well stocked. Josh and Kate were very personable and checked to make sure there was nothing we needed. We would give our stay at the White Pelican 6 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if we could!

Fabulous Stay @ The White Pelican

I celebrated my 50th birthday at the lovely White Pelican beach house with my husband, son, & our son’s girlfriend. The house was absolutely perfect for us and it far exceeded our expectations! The kitchen had everything you would need plus spices & other items such as olive oil & sugar. We loved the extremely comfy couches and the big coffee table to play games on in the evenings. The screened-in back porch was wonderful for eating meals, reading a book in one of the rocking chairs, or just sitting on the couch and listening to the waves during a nap. Josh was a terrific host and answered all of our questions quickly! We were often the only people out on the beach and we even were able to see dolphins in the ocean every morning. I loved the wooden beach chairs with the foot rests & being able to step off the back deck & walk along the wooden path to the ocean was simply wonderful!!! I was wanting a quiet & cozy beach house directly on the ocean and The White Pelican was exactly what I was looking for to celebrate my birthday!! We cannot wait to visit Alligator Point & stay at this beach house again!! 🤗

Perfect Private Getaway

We LOVED our stay at the White Pelican on Alligator Point! The property was gorgeous and fully equipped to meet all of our needs. The location is very private so it was perfect for some R&R and quality time with the family. Thank you, Josh and family!

Perfect beach trip

We have been on the hunt for a new summer beach location and we found exactly what we wanted at The White Pelican. Even standing in the kitchen you are "on the beach" and the views are fabulous. The open kitchen and den work well to give everyone space but still together. As an all day beach goer with avid fishermen in the group, the ice machine and beverage cooler were the hits of the trip! We cooked every night and had every pot, pan, cookie sheet, utensil, etc you could ever need, as well as, choice of coffee makers. But the most impressive item was the dryer, which I think is the first beach dryer i have ever seen to completely dry in one go. We loved our stay and appreciate all the vacation hospitality!!

This is our personal vacation home not a shabby rental investment filled with inexpensive worn furniture and run by a corporation. We take great pride in making it inviting and well appointed. The home has been renovated from top to bottom since we purchased the home and we have just renovated the master suite with new glass enclosed master shower and ship lap bedroom in the winter of 17. We are avid divers and spearfish year around in the amazingly bountiful waters of the gulf.
