Gorgeous Cottage with Hot Tub in Boone NC!

Welcome to `Mountain Time!` Bring the entire family to this incredibly peaceful and serene mountain cottage, only 12 minutes from Boone and ASU! Enjoy all that the high country has to offer, as this beautiful property is centrally located between Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Adults and kids will love the game room, and the outdoor space is amazing. Relax in the HOT TUB, hammock or grill and chill by the fireplace on the deck. You’re on `Mountain Time` now!

Enter Mountain Time through the front door and step into the open living room with wood burning fireplace, kitchen, and dining area. Step out on the covered deck for a fireside meal. Also on this level you will find the master bedroom and bathroom, along with a queen bedroom, bathroom, and bunk room perfect for the little ones. Downstairs, enter the game room as you walk past the bar, where you find billiards, shuffleboard, air hockey, ping pong, and another king bedroom and bathroom. Step outside to enjoy the HOT TUB and a hammock to help you relax. The kids can throw football in the yard, or explore the gorgeous grounds. ***Please note, this property does not have a bath tub (3 showers) and firewood is not regularly provided, but can be purchased in town at one of several grocery/hardware stores.

***Up to 2 small dogs are permitted with paid pet fee- please select pets at the time of booking to apply the pet fee.

Hot tub: The hot tub is serviced and photo documented prior to each guest`s arrival. There is a $300 fee if the hot tub has to be cleaned or drained/refilled due to negligence. Please enjoy responsibly!

`Mountain Time` is located at the top of a ridge in a quiet, rural setting with neighbors nearby. Maximum of 6 adults, plus children. ***A 4-wheel-drive vehicle with chains may be needed to access this property during winter or inclement weather. Please be safe!

We recommend you try Gamekeeper Restaurant, which is nearby!
Mountain Time can accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children for a total of 10 guests, plus an infant.
HOT TUB: By using the hot tub, you agree to abide by the posted rules, some of which include showering before and after use of the hot tub (detergents in swimsuits not properly washed before using the hot tub cause foam) and you acknowledge and accept a cleaning fee of $300 if the hot tub has to be drained/sanitized due to negligence/failure to abide by the posted rules.
QUIET HOURS: Out of respect for our neighbors, please keep noise to a minimum after sunset.

This was a great house for our NYE getaway. Kitchen was well appointed. Everything was as described in listing. One small problem with checkin was quickly addressed by host.

What a great place! We just relaxed, played games, the game room was a hit. Everyone was comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. Just a great time, the neighbors are really friendly as well. We were sad to go but grateful for the time.

Rooms were super clean. All of the beds were comfortable. We were just minutes away from restaurants and down town activities. Everyone was entertained with so much to do on the property.

So perfect and beautiful! Rented to visit granddaughter/ daughter over fall break at AppState. Rooms were all perfect as parents, grandparents and our granddaughter with a friend stayed. The beautiful kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked and did take out. The girls loved the hot tub. The game room in the basement so family friendly. The highlight for us was the beautiful outdoor deck which we did use all Weekend. The TV, fireplace and heater made it all so perfect. We did need to contact Kevin the owner as the outside heater did not work. After some troubleshooting it was decided it needed to be replaced. He gave us the option of purchasing a new one or he could deliver one Sunday morning. We choose to purchase since we checked in on Friday. Once purchased and set up we contacted him and our account was credited for the purchase and extra for our trouble within Les than an hour of getting it back to the cabin, We will be back. Great weekend getaway

Too short of a weekend to enjoy all the amenities the house offered! Great location equidistant from Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Beautiful area and perfect house for rain or shine.

Our family came from NC & SC to enjoy the Fourth of July in the beautiful Boone Mountains, and this house did not disappoint. It had everything we needed and more. Great space, nicely furnished and lots of fun amenities. The outdoor seating area was one of our favorite spots!

Great Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain cabin! The space was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our "mom and me" weekend trip. The game room was a big hit with the 4 tweens, giving them plenty to do while the moms relaxed. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, the linens were high quality, and check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The host was very responsive. One note: there are visible neighbors (seemingly a new build right behind the house where the decks face out) which wasn’t clear from the photos, but overall it didn’t take away from the nice experience. Would definitely recommend.

This house has everything!

We stayed at this house with friends to ring in the new year. We had a mix of adults and kids. The size and layout of the house was great. Plenty of spaces to hang out. Some highlights: the basement with SO many choices of games to play, the bunk room with cozy bed nooks for 4 kids, the hot tub, and the back deck. We even got lucky and got a nice snowfall while we were there :) Would highly recommend if you want a cozy stay in a quiet area high on a mountain.

Perfect mountain getaway

One of the best stocked vacation rentals we’ve visited in a long time. Towels, kitchen supplies, grill utensils, laundry and dish soaps, I could go on and on. You name it, it’s there. The home was impeccably clean and the property was well maintained. There are neighbors visible so if you’re looking for a hideaway, this may not fit the bill. Location was great! Close to Valle crusis, downtown Boone, blowing rock. We will definitely be back!

Great cabin!

This cabin was great! We had three families in town for a baseball tournament & the cabin was perfect for us. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The kids and adults both really enjoyed the game room, hot tub & corn hole in the yard. You will not regret renting this cabin!

College Move In

This property is beautiful and just as described! It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend while we moved our daughter back into college! By far our family enjoyed the back porch area the most!!! We will return!!!

Nice Home in the Country

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Time. The kids enjoyed the lower level with the games and the adults were able to sit and talk while they played. Everything we needed was there and it was very clean. The house was tucked away in the woods and we even saw deer all around the house. The gravel driveway was a little rough, but that is expected when you are off the beaten path. The hosts were very responsive and nice.

Great Family Vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was well kept and very clean upon arrival. The kids absolutely loved the game room and spent every moment possible in it. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the supplies needed during our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace with the TV. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. It offered us a great family vacation to enjoy the beauty of the mountains.

Family visit

We flew out from the west coast and needed a place that would fit our family (my self and husband, 2 sons and spouses and 4 grandchildren)! This property was perfect for us and was beautiful both inside and out! The property management was quick to respond and very helpful from beginning to end! Waking up in the morning and listening to the birds chirping while NOT hearing traffic was thoroughly appreciated! We had deer and rabbits passing through at various times of the visit! I would highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and homey feeling, as well as convenient to town. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into what their guests might like or need. It was a great place to celebrate or college graduate after graduation.

Something for everyone

The house is well-appointed and spacious. The beds are comfortable, the outdoor living area was a great bonus and the basement was a fun space for all ages to enjoy together. We will be back.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as shown, fully equipped and very clean. I did not notice that the house was in an area requiring 4wd and possibly chains. This detail was buried in property amenities. Fortunately the weather was ok. Overall it was a great stay!
