Conveniently located less than a minute from the Blue Ridge Parkway you're a quick drive to many hiking trails including the infamous Jumpinoff Rock Overlook and Cascade Falls. With just a 15-minute drive to West Jefferson, a 30-minute drive to Boone or a 25-minute drive to Wilkesboro, you can enjoy shops, restaurants, breweries and festivals. From tubing /kayaking on the New River to enjoying the fall foliage to cutting down the family Christmas tree to skiing, there is something to do year-round.

The property is in pristine condition, exactly as described and photographed. We experienced immense tranquility, with breathtaking views and a star-studded sky. Additionally, it offers easy access to various attractions.

Perfect Jumping Off Point to Boone & Beyond!

Lookout Lodge was a perfect hub spot for all of our Boone area adventures! The property was very clean and well appointed - and THE VIEWS!!!Jack is a super attentive host and was very responsive to all requests. We'd love to come back!

Beautiful Views and Memories

Growing up my family would frequent the old bar this beautiful home once was. Through out the years I’ve watched in hopes someone would save it. The owners did was an amazing job! It was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have been more pleased! Jack was great and super responsive.

Lovely Experience

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lookout Lodge. Upon walking in, we felt right at home. Attention to detail was evident and appreciated. The location is ideal as a jumping point to The Blue Ridge Parkway, West Jefferson, Boone, and Nkrth Wilkesbor

Best theme based place

We loved our stay in very stylish place. Each corner is theme based and you can see how much love is there in every detail. You literally have everything you need there to live. I could not believe it when I read other reviews, but that is really so. The only thing that was not that positive is traffic noise. Unfortunately cars are driving by all the time.

Amazing view and beautiful decorations that give a cozy vibe.

The place felt very homey, it was easy to get comfortable and relax to fully enjoy our stay. Definitely planning to return next year! The host was very quick to respond for any questions I had which made the whole process a lot smoother and comfortable.

Stayed here Friday through Sunday and this is a keeper on my list to return. Great layout, nice deck with unbelievable view, and small issue we had was quickly fixed by owner.

There are so many good things to say about the Lookout Lodge. The view was absolutely amazing, the lodge had everything we needed and the host was great. We are already looking forward to another stay!

Wonderful Experience – Highly Recommend!This property exceeded all our expectations! The house was beautiful, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and the view was breathtaking . The location was perfect ,quiet yet close to Jefferson.
