Great Rental

We had 5 women for an extended weekend girls' trip. Lotus Villa was perfect for our needs. The pool area was great and we spend most of time out there. The ocean is just a short walk away and the views from the top floor are incredible. We only had one minor issue with getting the door locked and Franke Rentals sent someone right away. Once he showed us how to do it, it was not a problem at all. The kitchen is very well equipped for all your needs. The beds were extremely comfortable and each room has it's own bathroom. The outdoor bathroom was wonderful being that we were in the pool so much. We would definitely recommend Lotus Villa and Franke Rentals.

Perfect Family Beach Getaway House

Beautiful beach house with just a short walk to the most perfect beach in Texas! Lots of room, beds and bathrooms for our family. Kitchen was well stocked for us to make all our meals. Lots of space outside as well. Enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay!

Lotus Villa fit our family well, luckily. The listing had all the bathrooms having a shower and one of them only had a tub, no shower. It also said it sleeps 10 and there are really only beds to sleep 9 which worked out for us because one of our 10 used a pack and play. If we actually had 10 people needing a bed we would have been a bit disappointed when the listing said it was for 10. Overall, all things considered our stay was lovely. The kitchen and living area worked well for our large group. The pool and the hot tub were a hit. Thanks for a fun filled 6 days in South Padre Island.

Great Vacation Home

Property is beautiful, however you can tell it's a rental. Things are a little worn, but nothing concerning. The beach is a short walk away, the pool area is a great add for days that were too windy on the beach. We had to request for the hot tub to be fixed twice, I think something may have been shorted out. They were attentive and came to fix it quickly both times.

Great location, lovely home

Pool and spa were so great. Easy access to beach. Home was in good condition with easy check-in process. We found sporadic dirt/hair in places but nothing a thorough deep-clean wouldn’t fix. Not alarming for us because we are at the beach so it was tolerable. Not off putting. Would come back and stay again, indeed

Frankie's Property Management is TOP NOTCH!! They personally answered the phone each time I call and within minutes someone was there to take care of the issue. Very professional and very kind! As far as the particular property, while it was BEAUTIFUL with very high-end finishes. The small details that change the trip from good to great were missing. #1 - the description stated the home slept 10 adults, it does NOT. We had 6 adults and 4 kids under 8 - the kids had to bunk up which wasn't ideal. #2 - Pool wasn't clean upon arrival. #3 - With 10 of us, we cook all our meals at home - 3 of our meals were ruined because the oven stopped working?! #4 - We did feel like the house was clean - however, saw several cockroaches during our stay. Overall positive experience. Beds very comfortable, LOVELY pool. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with beach access. Will stay at another Frankie Property for sure!

Lotus Villa stay / Excellent

Stayed at the Lotus Villa a total of four nights. The place is great. Lots of stairs but great. The pool and sitting areas out back were very relaxing. The doors do have a trick to making sure they lock securely but they don't convey much confidence in how they do. Also, some form of drapes or blinds for the balcony doors off the living room facing the front of the house would help in not only keeping heat out but most importantly, giving renters some privacy from those across the street as anyone from the same or higher elevation level can just look across and view directly into the living room unobstructed. The drapes used on the opposite doors would work giving people the option of privacy or keeping them open to preserve the bright open view the house might be going for. The service from the rental company was also great as I was in contact with them weeks and months ahead of arrival to make sure everything was working. Overall, a great experience that started to feel like a second home. I'll definitely be renting again.

Enjoyable, beautiful home in a quiet beachfront neighborhood!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Lotus Villa! The house looked just like the photos. The location was great - just a quick ride from the majority of restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is quiet and protected by a private gate. The house was well stocked with all of the basic supplies needed. We enjoyed spending time by the pool area and the beach is just steps away! The owner communicated very well and the welcome package was detailed with all the information we needed for our stay! The only critiques would be the cleanliness and security of the house. The house was not clean. For example, the showers were moldy and the curtains mildewed. There were several patched holes in the walls and broken drawers/doors, stains on couches and chairs,etc. The dishes were not cleaned but once we cleaned what we needed it was great. One of the doors to the balcony was secured by bungee cords. We could not get the front door to securely lock. You could just push the French doors and they would push in. Thankfully it was a safe and secure neighborhood so we were fine. The house is very loved but has lots of wear and tear.

Beautiful Home

So lovely, decorated so nice with a mixture of new and antiques, great views and wonderful location. We were disappointed that our hot tub was not hot or even warm. We called the property management and they responded to our call but it was never fixed where we could use it. Such a great home for our stay that we hated to leave it. Highly recommend.

Beautiful House

The house was really nice and clean. Bedrooms/Beds description was misleading but we made it work. Management and maintenance was awesome. Repairs needed were addressed immediately. Relaxing by the pool and hot tub was great. I would recommend to my friends.

Very spacious, beautiful and relaxing. We had a great time! Will definitely come back. The cushions on the couch, and the big bench swing that’s on the balcony off the master suite needs to be cleaned, replaced, or covered.

Our stay at Lotus villa was wonderful! Gerald was very quick to respond to any questions/issues we had! The house is BEAUTIFUL, and the back yard patio/garden and pool made our stay even more enjoyable! We loved the quiet neighborhood and the short walk to the beach. We had 4 young kids with us and the whole place was perfect! I would advise bringing a couple baby gates because there are a LOT of stairs lol. Our only request would have been a broom/dust pan to sweep up some of the sand and crumbs that we created (as we had 8 people traipsing about the house)! Thank you guys for a beautiful and wonderful stay! We would HIGHLY recommend staying at the Lotus Villa for a beach vacation!

wonderful 80th birthday getaway

We stayed at the villa to enjoy time together for my mother's 80th birthday. The home is lovely, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for food preparation. The pool and hot tub and the outdoor seating are all lovely and added to our enjoyment. The beach is so close and lovely and not crowded at all. Thank you for letting us rent your lovely place to enjoy time together.

Beach retreat

We were celebrating my husband being in remission with his cancer. The house was beautiful with lovely calming colors. Plenty of room for guests to enjoy visiting, playing games and even working a little. My only regret was we did not have a great view of the ocean. The beautiful backyard almost made that ok though

Wonderful property

We so enjoyed our stay at the Lotus Villa. Had a few small issues but were taken care of in a timely manner. Beautiful property and a couple minutes walk to the beach!
