Go to Luquillos Balneario Beach and the highly popular kioskos a very long row of varying restaurants in front of the beach. Try surfing, fishing or visit the waterfalls. Then come home and fall asleep to the amazing sounds of the coqui. A tree frog only found here that will lullaby you to sleep

We loved staying here! It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The air conditioning was great, and there was hot water. We went to El Yunque, Luquillo kiosks, the Ancestral Chocolat factory (try the hot chocolate!) and JungleQui during our stay here, and it was close to all of it. We caught the ferry to Vieques on our last morning staying here, and it was a fairly short drive there, too. We cooked most of our meals here, and the kitchen had what we needed. The host is very kind and responds quickly to messages. We had no issues during our stay, but if we had, I don’t doubt they would’ve been taken care of quickly. Our most favorite part about staying here was the yard! We went outside at dusk with headlamps and discovered so many cool things! We found coqui frogs, white lipped Caribbean frogs, a tarantula, anoles, iguanas, huntsman spiders, and fireflies. Plus all kinds of plants, like a cashew tree and some banana trees. We spent about an hour and a half just exploring the backyard and being delighted by it all. My son slept outside on the enclosed porch in a hammock all three nights, falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and rain- and the occasional nocturnal rooster. :) If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. The cats and chickens on the property during the day were also fun have around- we even named one of the cats that always seemed to be in the driveway. We would absolutely stay here again!

Best summer vacations.

We loved staying in the house, with everything we could need, clean, tidy, good A/C. In short, we loved it and were very, very happy with everything. Communication with the hosts was great.

Absolutely amazing!!!

This place is incredible. Super easy to check in and get into. The hard is filled with fresh fruit trees. Hammocks to hang out in. Nice cold ac. I was able to communicate with the host during my stay and the response was always fast and very helpful. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Great location!

The location was great and the house was clean & comfortable. I made an error on the booking and the host was helpful. We were there over New Years when the power was off so there were challenges but we managed. Note: The kitchen was semi well equipped but there was not a can opener. Asador Boricua, just down the road served our favorite Mofongo that we had. Would book again!

In a word-Comfortable!

As soon as we walked in this house felt like a home. For the price I was expecting to encounter a lot of problems, but quite the opposite was what we experienced. The building is a little older, but it was very clean any nicely appointed! My family of five found it roomy and super comfortable I would stay again in a heartbeat. If you don’t want to fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest, this place might not be for you. It was perfect for us! The one drawback might be that the entrance gate is on a hill and was a little tricky to navigate, once we started parking to face the gate it became easy.

Family home away from home

Great location for hiking, visiting the beach, or day trips around the island. Nicely equipped kitchen, luxurious towels. We appreciated that our sons could each have their own bedroom. Anyone visiting Puerto Rico should be aware most places (including here) don't have hot water tanks. Instead they use insta hot in-line heaters that warm up only the water you use while showering.

Mini get away

My family and I wanted to visit El yunque and go visit the beach and do all our excursions.This house is exactly the edge of yunque everything is close walking distance or car 5 minutes drive .Is pretty big and comfortable house have everything you need .Love their nature yard .The most important for us was for our parents to feel safe and comfortable .The neighbors is very quiet .I recommend you come visit

Communing with nature

The purpose of trip was not vacationing. I had a little trouble entering the home. I was not accustomed to lock boxes. A call to management resolved immediately the issue. The house is as described. I got a wake up call from the rooster in the morning and night the coqui lulled me to sleep. The flora was remarkable. I communed with nature an recalled childhood memories.

I'm not sure how not understanding how to open a lockbox led to a 4 star review. Definitely disappointed with that. I hope you will take the time to hear that it was a described. An unwarranted score stuck at this hurts us. Glad she enjoyed her stay though

What a great home with amazing garden!!

The direstions were great and was able to get in easily. Host was great with all the recommendations of things to do in the area. House has everything you need in the kitchen. Also had a desk where i could work without bothering the rest of the family. We were so excited with the HUGE avocados in the garden. Webate several. The ac was a big plus for us too. Kids enjoyed the Netflix on the big screen. The rain forest and amazing beaches were only minutes away and so were the Kioskos where there are so many restaurants and souvenir shops. Beds were grwat and there was hit water in the shower. I highly recommend this place and a steal for the money with all the extras. Will definitely be staying here again soon. Thanks Jeff and Louis. See ya next trip!!

Getting there was a breeze. First night was pretty good although the place has 3 bedrooms, one room has nothing but a ceiling fan so not all rooms are air conditioned. They have no generator or working lanterns or candles for if and when power goes out! Hot water most likely won’t work! And it’s Jerry rigged!They have hot water heater connected to an open electrical outlet that is right next to the propane tank and sparks randomly I recorded it. Couldn’t wait to get out of there felt so unsafe after seeing that. Host just gives you an oh well not my fault response to everything. No waterfall on property like they claim oh and roaches the property has them to. Don’t bother taking them up on their van rental option as the van hasn’t properly moved in many years just by the looks of it, who knows if it would even start. My opinion rent from any one other than here!
