Only available the week of 23-30 Dec. This is a spacious 1321 sq feet, pet friendly, new Condo on the top of the mountain, just minutes from spectacular Christmas lights and fireworks. The Great Smokey Mountains is a great place to visit anytime but an incredible place to spend Christmas vacation 23-30 Dec. 2022!
After a family-friendly, fun-filled day at Dollywood, a live audience show, touring the unique shops in the area, or photographing the wildlife in the parks, relax in front of the warm gas fireplace. This is your opportunity for Santa to deliver a spacious apartment high on the mountain top at Westgate Gatlinburg, TN resort. It features 2 luxurious bedrooms (1 king, 2 double beds), 2.5 baths and a huge jetted tub. A full kitchen is supplemented by a kitchenette. There are 2 pullout sofas, a love seat, dining table/chairs, small table/chairs, smart tvs in the bedrooms and living room, washer/dryer, free premium television channels and free internet. You will be enchanted with the breathtaking views as you linger on the balcony. Parking is conveniently located just outside of the door. An elevator is available if needed, and dogs ARE allowed (coordinate with Westgate separately 865.430.4800 Ext 0). The resort features a shuttle service, an indoor water park, zipline, gas fire pit, fitness center, playground, miniature golf course, exercise classes, shoppette, and a full service dining room. Southerners Robert & Tempie Lyons are 6 yrs Texans after years at Scott AFB, IL where we raised our daughter who calls Colorado home. Now we concentrate on our angelic dog Dax, mischievous kitty Loki and two feral cats. We love our extended family in SC immensely and work at being the best neighbors we know how to be in our small community, This is where our family-by-choice resides. Robert is introverted and is content to spend his days reading, playing computer games, and studying the stock market. Tempie is more of the extroverted bent and dabbles in everything from raising worms to doing some resin work and trying to establish and keep plants going in this Texas heat. Our center core is that we try to live our Christian principles. We love people and have a swinging door of visitors. Westgate Smokey Mountains timeshare is simply an extension of this principle.

After a quarter century of vacationing in the Orlando FL area, with two time shares there, Robert and Tempie did not want to "Work so Hard" on vacationing. The opposite of the "go, go, go" high pressure feel of Orlando is this Westgate Smokey Mountain Resort where we spent the most relaxed week in January 2022. We COULD have acted as tourists (we chose not to). There are family friendly attractions all over this area in the mountains, and plenty to do if you desire to be on the go. We chose to have a low-key, relaxed week of gazing at the snow, and down on the units below from the mountain top. We ventured out to go grocery shopping once, and toured the Westgate Property on another occasion. Otherwise, we lounged in front of the fireplace with good books and big yawns.

Westgate Smokey Mountains is central to many attractions, both natural and man-made. As a renter at Westgate, you will enjoy the full benefits of ownership, including your own concierge, Mary. If there is ANYTHING amiss in the unit, call Mary for immediate correction. Housekeeping can be requested during the week. Don't forget that you don't have to leave your 4 legged loved one at home: your pet can accompany you to this modern and new home facility (make arrangements by calling Westgate directly). An elevator is available if needed, and parking is just outside the door. The bedding was superb! This is a lock off unit, with both bedrooms units having separate outside accessibility. The resort amenities includes an indoor water park, and those intertubes rides are still calling my name.
