Get ready to escape to the incredible Barkin' at the Moon, a charming log cabin nestled in the breathtaking Smoky Mountains. Managed by Moonrise Vacation Properties, LLC, this handcrafted retreat sits on nearly five acres of secluded land in Eastern Tennessee. It's right next to its sister cabin, Howlin' at the Moon, and together they create the perfect atmosphere for a serene getaway. Inside Barkin' at the Moon, you'll find two bedrooms, private bathrooms, and a cozy loft with a comfy queen-sized bed. You can relax and unwind in the spacious pool with its invigorating jets and hot tub. And when it's time for some entertainment, there's a TV, air hockey, and an awesome arcade game with over 3000 games to choose from.
Take in the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings from the covered decks on both the main level and basement. The mountain vistas are simply breathtaking. Barkin' at the Moon is a pet-friendly retreat that welcomes dogs for $35 per dog per night. Unfortunately, cats are not allowed due to the owner's allergies.
If you're planning a visit during the winter season, make sure you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to reach the property. Don't worry, though—the steep driveway is easily manageable. Each cabin provides parking space for two vehicles, with additional parking available at the bottom of the driveway.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
It was love at first sight with these cabins! Traveling with a multi-generational crew the layout of these cabins allows for us to travel together and have space privacy for each family. We love the fact that these cabins are on nearly 5 acres, with plenty to explore, and can be rented together or separately.
These cabins hold sentimental value in that the logs that are in this cabin came from the sawmill that my grandfather and uncle ran when Jaime was a child. Once we learned this fact, we knew it was meant to be!
