The house and location was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the mullet, dolphins, birds, and amazing sunsets. We took the kayaks out to the gulf, just make sure you know the tide schedule so you don’t get stuck in the gulf. The house had everything you needed. Perfect place for relaxing!

David and Kelly were great hosts. Kelly checked in pretty much daily to see if we needed anything. The home was cozy and plenty of games to do inside in case of inclement weather. The home is sitting on the Gulf fishing was great we caught snook, sheep head,reds,lady fish, lots of good fishing. The outside pavilion is a great place to hang out while grilling and eating. Everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay!

Outdoor area was amazing! Beautiful views and space! Had some issues on check in but were handled quickly. Bathrooms weren’t quite what we expected. Definitely a fishing / camping feel!

Great vaca spot nice amd quiet

Our family and dogs had a blast on the property. Made full use of the canoe and kayaks. We floated around the islands during high tide. Great Stay hands down!

This property was beautiful, clean, and fully stocked with cookware, utensils, condiments and toiletries. If you are planning to visit within the Hernando Beach area, this house was very conveniently located. My husband and two teenage kids found this property online. I was a little skeptical because several of our days were going to be spent in Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg which are about 1-1.5 hours away. This was a bit of a drive but wasn't too bad. The days spent at the home were relaxing with a fantastic view, plenty of fishing, kayaking/canoeing, and swimming. There was a separate bedroom and bathroom that could only be accessed by going outside. We didn't know this when initially renting the property. The kids wanted their own bedroom but they ended up sharing the bedroom with two beds so we all could stay within the house. The detached bedroom/bath may be an issue for a family with many small kids however. The beds were comfortable with plenty of additional blankets and a nice full size washer and dryer were available. All in all, this was a great property to stay at.

Beautiful Property

The house and the setting are stunning. We enjoyed the kayaks and the wildlife viewing. It was a peaceful atmosphere and the sunsets were amazing. It was an easy drive to good restaurants, grocery store, etc. There were a couple of cool windy days but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful property on water

This was an excellent location.Very cute decor.But misleading in the description of the layout of the home.It shows three bedrooms. But the one bedroom and bath are downstairs separate from the house. This bedroom is completely by itself and in order to get to the house, you have to go outside around the building and up the steps. Thank God it did not rain while we were there. That room was very isolated. It was almost as if it was a storage room under the house that they turned into a bedroom and bath. Which was fine, but there was no kitchenette. So every time my family needed something they needed to go outside in order to get upstairs.Very disappointing as we were all expecting to be together.Also, no big screen TV under the pole barn as advertised, no foosball table showing in the pictures, and the fireplace is not a working fireplace.There were also issues with hair on two sofas.The host did refund me, and I would totally use this property again, however, I would never dream of putting my family members in the downstairs suite.

Family vacation

The property was amazing and everything we wanted. I had envisioned a vacation in sunny Florida with our kids where we could relax and enjoy the weather. We wanted a country setting on the water. This was everything we imagined and more. We will be returning.

Great stay on the water

Nice location for nature lovers, which is what we are. Saw plenty of wading and tripical birds. Also got to see some dolphins feeding right off of the deck. Only wish I was able to capture some pictures, as that was a highlight of the trip. Nice house and well taken care of.

Awesome Sunsets

We truly enjoyed our stay. Home was very cozy and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The porch was awesome for viewing the wildlife and sunsets. Everything we needed was available. Great relaxing and peaceful location. The hosts followed up to ensure our stay was exceptional.

Super duper duper awesome

9 year old describing it Super duper duper awesome! House was great for 2 families of four with kids in the double queen room. Place had all kinds of stuff to do and use, great outdoor setup. Amazing view and sunsets. Great spot for beginner kayakers, bring water shoes for getting in and out. Bottom suite you do have to go outside to access from main area. Hosts had fantastic communication and were very helpful. Highly recommend.

Gulf Coast Fun for All Ages

The house was beautiful inside and out with lots of amenities and wonderful hosts. Every day was filled with excitement. We went kayaking, canoeing and fishing on the gulf. Loved eating fresh fish caught right off the dock. We spent a day explored the many beaches nearby. Enjoyed our visit to Tarpon Springs shopping, dining and exploring the Sponge Docks. We went to the mermaid show and also took the private boat tour thru the Weeki Wachee Spring enjoying boating, swimming and watching the manatees. Some of our crew even braved spending another day exploring the springs on their own. Every night we watched the most beautiful sunset. A great time was had by all

Amazing Location and Sunsets!

We had the pleasure of spending a long weekend at Osowaw Oasis and it was fantastic. First off the hosts, Kelly and Dave, were extremely helpful and prompt in answering my questions about the property and surrounding area. The house and overall property were perfect. Tons of outdoor space with great toys (Kayaks, canoe, fishing gear, cornhole, foosball, firepit, outdoor shower etc.) with a huge covered pavilion (with a TV) to provide plenty of shade. The house is right on the gulf and provided some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. The home was cozy and well appointed with all you would need for your stay. Beds were cozy and the back porch provided the perfect view of the breathtaking sunsets prefect for enjoying a cocktail or beverage of choice while relaxing and watching the wildlife. We had a pod of manatee right off the dock playing on several nights and kayaking a little into the gulf we got to interact with several dolphin. Best time to go is mid/late evening. Also plenty of birds roosting among the tall pine trees. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Weekie Wachee / Springhill area you must check out Osowaw Oasis. It will not disappoint!!

Beautiful Property!! Highly recommend!!

Stunning sunsets, great property layout, super convenient, yet peaceful location, very clean, well-appointed home, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds and linens, awesome host!! We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful property! Our host, Dave, was very helpful and responsive; made great recommendations for fishing charter, river boating, beaches, restaurants, local amenities... Great location: Publix and Walmart less than 10 minutes away. Weeki Wachee attractions, river kayaking, bait shop, fishing charter, cute beach shop, public pickleball courts, less than 20 minutes away. Awesome family beach- Pine Island, less than 30 minutes away. The traffic in the area was surprisingly pleasant! Easy to get to local amenities. We visited Clearwater Beach on a weekday. The drive was easy and we only encountered traffic as we got closer to the bridge. Which is normal. We LOVED this property!! Had fun watching the outdoor TV and playing foosball while grilling the fish that we caught for dinner! Snook, red drum, sea trout- the fishing was awesome in April! Tarpon are coming in May! Excellent grill/outdoor entertainment area! Large tables seat the whole family. Plus extra fridge in the laundry room area on the ground floor very convenient! Nice fishing poles, cast net to use. LOVED the dock + beach area! Both were great for launching the kayaks. LOVED kayaking amongst the mangroves with full sunset view of the Gulf of Mexico! LOVED the fire pit! Will return!

The perfect spot!

This property was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed the month of March 2024 for a break from Wisconsin winter. As a long term rental we can say the beds were comfortable! The home is nicely maintained & decorated. Every day we spent out time watching wildlife! Many species of birds, dolphins and even an alligator! Most enjoyable were the magnificent sunsets! The area is convenient to stores, restaurants and breweries. We found every thing we needed & more. Dave & Kelly were wonderful hosts. We are planning our trip for next year!

Perfect family get away location

This home was the perfect, serene spot for our family and dogs; even despite the unfavorable weather. The scenery is magnificent. The grounds and views made the weather a second thought. The owners are extremely attentive and personable. Perfect for dogs and water sport frolicking. We will return for sure!

Loved our time here! The home was set up wonderfully and is at a gorgeous location! All the little things were thought of, including a balloon for my husband's 50th birthday! Very thoughtful hosts and we had the best time! Definitely will be back

Private, gulf-access paradise!

The property is very unique and private. The home is stocked with whatever your family may need for a week of outdoor, boating adventures. We really enjoyed using the kayaks to explore their water weighs around the property and saw manatees, dolphin, and sea turtles. The home is in great shape, and the mattresses were very comfortable. We definitely hope to return in the future.

Spring Hill

Fantastic place. If you want a quiet place in nature to relax after a day at Weeki Wachi, this is the place. Had a nice breeze off the gulf overlooking beautiful and relaxing scenery. One of the days we never left, kayaked and swam in the water and had a nice bonfire that night. We will be back

Osowaw Oasis

The stay was excellent from the beginning. Our family enjoyed the views and hospitality from the owners and will be looking into staying at more of their properties. Kelly and David made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. This property is one of pure bliss and worked well for our large family and pups.
