Family Reunion 2024
This was a second house as part of a 29 person family reunion. We have family that have a home nearby so we didn’t need this house for much, mostly sleeping. A few little things that weren’t great which is why I’m giving it a 4-star. I wish they had listed more amenities. I ended up having to reach out several times asking questions. Like was there a coffee maker. Yes, there is one and it’s a regular coffee maker on one side and a single cup on the other. It’s a Keurig so it takes k-cups too. The bedrooms are very small so having luggage out can prove to be difficult. One of the bedrooms in the pictures on the listings looks like the bed sits on the floor so I had to reach out about that. They confirmed it did so we opted not to have our 80 year old mother sleep at this house however, once we checked in and saw the room, it was now on a bed frame. And finally, the beds were not the most clean beds. Some of the beds just didn’t get cleaned all the way or even made properly. I was also very surprised that there were no mattress covers on the bed. The mattresses were not in great shape either. For a house to sleep in, it worked just fine. It has lovely features and has a nice cabin feel. There are just some high expectations when you pay a premium cost.
