Captain Dave's | Private, Lighted Fishing Pier!

Captain Dave's is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home with a private fishing pier and swimming pool! Come stay at Captain Dave's for fabulous fishing and incredible water views. Situated on 2 landscaped acres along Copano Bay, this lovely home offers beautiful sunsets, great fishing, and peaceful surroundings. Catch redfish, trout, flounder, black drum, sheepshead, and blue crabs from the private, lighted 200 ft fishing pier.

Captain Dave's sits on 2 acres of land along Copano Bay. Meander down the path to the bay and cool off under the 12x20 covered cabana. The 200 ft., private fishing pier has a 30ft t-head and a new high-pressure sodium 1000 watt above water fishing light. Captain Dave says a reef runs in front of the pier for fantastic fishing. You can also wade fish or kayak and Captain Dave has his own set of fishing tips available at the house!

Captain Dave's is newly remodeled and decorated with coastal charm. This single-story home has exposed beam ceilings in the living room which opens into the kitchen. Enjoy cable TV, volleyball net, horseshoes or the hammock when you are not fishing. There is Wi-Fi at the home.

The primary bedroom and bathroom are in the main house and offer two comfy queen size beds and a daybed and futon in the 3rd bedroom. Across the courtyard is a spacious 2nd Bedroom also with 2 queen size beds. Captain Dave's will sleep up to 10 people.

You're only minutes away from all the fun of downtown Rockport! Rockport Beach is a fun and affordable way to spend a day relaxing and swimming. Kids will also have a blast at the beach with the multiple themed playgrounds and swing sets. There are picnic tables and grills that you can set up at for the perfect beach experience. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Spend a day shopping on Market Street and an evening walking along the water. You can also enjoy fresh fish while watching the sunset over the bay at one of Rockport's many tasty seafood restaurants. Captain Dave's will make all your fishing dreams come true. We hope to see you soon!

Cleanliness could have been better . We only had 1 bath towel , floor was dirty and dusty on the beds. Staff got us towels quickly after a message . Septic was backed up . Overall the property is nice , just older style house .

Amazing property

Stay was great first few days grass was tall I’m sure it was do to the precious rains. Such a nice location it took days before I was even able to tell any type of maintenance issues were present nothing that denied complete rest and enjoyment of the property. But did finally notice screen door was missing the handle loose tiles when you walked in front of the fridge and loose tiles in the bathrooms. Location was great pier was perfect. Hope that we honored your contract because my boys are already making plans to go back only this time a full 7 days. Thank

The pier lights weren't working and the repairman came out and fixed it as well as coming back at night to make sure it was working. You really couldn't want for anything else with this property other than softer beds. The pool the pier and the pavilion were all great pluses. We love this property and can't wait to come back.

We love this property and can't wait to come back. Only thing limiting that are the price increases. Might be too costly for us to return in the near future as we had planned to. Everyone I've worked with has been wonderful and attentive. It was easy to add an extra day to our original reservation and when there was a problem with the A/C on arrival, it was quickly taken care of.

Great getaway

This property worked great with the second/third bedroom in another house (patio separating them) so grandparents had some time alone if they needed it. Pier was nice; caught a few trout, kids liked the puffer fish we caught, and had some amazing sunsets.

Really had a great time.

Really had a great time. Everything was perfect. Enjoyed relaxing in the pool and fishing at night. We loved Captain Dave’s! It was so convenient and had everything we could possibly need. Fishing wasn’t too good but it was great family bonding time which is priceless. They were awesome every time I called. Very friendly and accommodating.

Fishermans Paradise, day/night fishing, relaxing pergola just off the water, and much more!

Mother’s Day/ Bday Getaway with Family, plenty of privacy for our family of 5. Fishermans Paradise, close to bait shop, breakfast tacos, and Take out from Moon Dog Resturant. Caught 8 different species of fish, live shrimp is the bomb🎣. The HVAC was awesome, very cool at night. We will be back....

We had an amazing time at Captain Dave's - I wanted to put a quick note in here though, that the porch area right before you enter the house itself was dirty (to be expected for what it was.. a porch) but we actually found an infestation of scorpions. To that extent, we actually cleaned / washed the structure, ground, screens, everything and I even exterminated all of the scorpions. I say this, but want to really emphasize this did not contribute to us having a bad experience. I consider that area "outdoors" and should expect to see some level of bugs, etc. I am letting you know because I would want to know if I owned that house.
