Welcome to the Trout Tank!

This beautiful home sits on stilts in Holiday Beach. The Trout Tank sleeps up to four adults and two children and has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Enjoy the gorgeous 180-degree view of Copano Bay from the back of the house. Watch the beautiful sunset from the 200' fishing pier or the balcony upstairs. There is one sports fishing light and one underwater green light for all your fishing needs. The t-head is lighted with built in benches and a bait prep table. There is a covered and lighted fish cleaning station in the middle of the pier.Upstairs the living room is comfy and cozy open to the kitchen and dining area. There is a cable TV in the living room. There is ample seating, as the dining table seats six and the bar seats five. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, ice maker, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, and pots and pans. The living room and dining room both have French doors that open to the three-sided porch. The primary bedroom is cute and coastal themed with a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The office features a small sofa bed, perfect for the kids in the group. The bedrooms share the bathroom with a tiled shower/tub combo. The back-upstairs porch is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the views.

Overlooking the bay, you can escape out here after a long day of fun. This house is only minutes away from downtown Rockport where there is lots to do. This house is also only a short drive away from the Rockport Beach where you can find more fishing, birding, and swimming. Also don't forget to check out some of our historical sites and parks including The Fulton Mansion, Memorial Park, The Texas Maritime Museum, and Goose Island National Park. You cannot go wrong with this house and this town. Whether you choose to spend your vacation relaxing, fishing, boating, or shopping, Rockport is the vacation spot for you! We know you will enjoy your stay and cannot wait to see you here!

Good time

We stayed for my wifes bday had a good time had everything you need. We caught a good amount of trout from the dock, wife hooked into a 4 foot gar.

Fishing & Relaxing

The property And location were perfect for me as I was close to Goose Island and fishing. The house was clean, had an excellent view of Copa o Bay and a fishing pier. It did lack in essentials such as bar soap for the shower and Kleenex. I wasn't a big fan of the property manager communication as I wasnt ever told if the property was ready early or not so had to wait until 4pm which is a late check in. The communication lacked a personal touch.

Great view

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Saw dolphins off the pier and caught a couple of fish. Property was great. Would definitely stay again.

We went to Rockport for the hummer bird festival

The property is lovely and very clean. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The pier was the nicest of any of the houses we have stayed at. We fished and although we didn’t catch any big fish it was fun. A big dolphin passed very close while we were fishing. I hung the hummingbird feeder they had in the closet and we enjoyed watching the little birds on the porch. I left a note to please clean and refresh the feeder with the nectar I left in the fridge in a couple of days.

A Much Needed Getaway

This was my family's first real vacation since the pandemic started and it was very much needed! After seeing the pictures online, I was quite excited to finally be able to see everything in person. The Trout Tank did not disappoint! From the gorgeous views off the water to the adorable coastal décor inside, we knew we were in for a wonderful stay. Traveling with younger children can sometimes prove to be challenging, but the Trout Tank was the perfect fit for my family! It had the comfiest couches, beds, and best of all, a washer and dryer. (A must have when you've got a toddler.) My family loved this place so much, we added another day to our stay. We were able to make beautiful memories this summer. My daughter is already talking about what she plans on doing when we return "next time". And yes, there will be a next time! If you're looking for a nice, peaceful family getaway with idyllic views, this is the place for you!

Trout Tank has been our go to place the last two years. We prefer private, and quiet. This place provides both of those things. It's always maintained well, clean, and you feel right at home. Working with the employees of Miss Kitty's is always refreshing. Everyone is so friendly and are quick to answer my questions.

Great time at the Trout Tank

My wife and I stayed at the Trout Tank for a relaxing getaway and were not disappointed. The house was clean with all the amenities listed in the description. We fished off the pier at night and cooked out on the grill. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this home.

We loved our stay at this home. We will be back for sure, this is by far our favorite vacation rental! Everything you need is at the home, no need to leave. We cooked all our meals at home. The home was very clean and very welcoming. I never had to speak with anyone, everything was so easy with check in and out.

This property was exactly as advertised. You always wonder how old the pictures are online, but it was exact. The house was very clean, spacious and relaxing. Absolutely loved the pier! The views were picture perfect! Could not have asked for more in a rental property. Miss Kitty's employees were so nice, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They explained everything before I could ask the questions. It was refreshing to deal with a company where the employees were happy to help you.

Very comfortable and pleasant. The pier was so much fun and the views were amazing. We had a good catch of red and black drum off of the pier. Very responsive. Did not see the 10% discount for the additional day that we were told about.

We found a house with just what we wanted.

We found a house with just what we wanted. The check-in instructions were clear. There were no problems with the rental It was clean. Everything (appliances, plumbing, etc.) worked well. I'm glad we had GPS to get us to the house. When we first arrived, I worried we were too far from town. It turned out not to be a problem once we learned where we were going. It was worth the little extra drive for the view and the private pier. House was nicely decorated. Beachy, but not cheesy. Great view. Loved having a private pier. I didn't have a lot of contact with team members. Communication was through email. The instructions were clear. Got the information when promised. No complaints. House was nicely decorated.
