Everything about this property was great. The property was actually nicer in person than it was in the pictures. Everything was clean, well stocked, and the check in/out process was smooth. Great location as well as you’re only a 5/10 min walk from the beach in a cute neighborhood. Would highly recommend for a family/friend outing!

Perfect getaway

The property is located within 4-5 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The property manager actively communicated with us before and during our stay.

Annoying alarms

Issues faced during our stay was a broken garbage disposable making it extremely difficult to clean/wash dishes without sink clogging and constantly having to unclog to drain water and detectors in the house continously going off between 11pm-4 am throughout the house not allowing anyone to sleep to include kids which was unacceptable, annoying and really inconvenient for what we paid to enjoy a family weekend getaway. Other than that,, everything else went well.

Nice stay

Our stay was pleasant. There were some things that could have been better and made things more comfortable. Some things could have been communicated better. Don’t get excited about the arcade game, it doesn’t work. Be sure to bring trash bags and pot holders. Overall we had a nice stay with family. Would stay here again but not for the price we paid. We expected a little nicer for what we paid.

Nice house close to the pool and beach

House fit us perfectly! Nice and spacious. Had all the cooking things we needed. Loved that it was so easy to walk to the pool and beach and park road 2 was half a mile so super quick to drive over with all the beach coolers, canopies, etc. only minor problem we had was the garbage disposal did not work. Otherwise it was all great!

Family Vacation 2021

House was nice with good layout. Backdoor handle was broke and I called several times to report and never got to speak with anyone could only leave a message, which I did. The floors were filthy. Hadn't been swept or mopped. Pool was nice and close by as well as the beach.

Great for family get away

The house was exactly what we needed for our family vacation. Clean, exactly what was advertised and great layout. Location to the beach was perfect with the golf cart. The kitchen was very well equipped to cook anything during your stay. We would rent again for our family of 13.

We had 11 people staying and was able to have plenty of space for everyone. The house was beautiful

I would recommend the Paradise house for any occasion. And the golf cart was a leg saver. Thank you for a great time.

Layout and Location

This home has an excellent layout and proximity to the beach with use of the included golf cart. The home had clearly been cleaned but not deeply prior to our stay. We ended up cleaning to feel comfortable the first night. The automated emails from the rental company were unorganized and contradicted one another but anytime I called the actual office they were easy to get a hold of and provided answers.

Pandemic Break Family Getaway

Celebrating the opportunity to get together after the majority of us had received our vaccines it was a chance to be together and relax, be out on the beach and enjoy a beautiful vacation home. Our reservation process was quick and easy. The virtual check in was great and perfect for a large group coming from different areas. The home was as described and we are experienced vacationioners so we prepare and bring what we know we need to be comfortable. The “what to bring list was helpful” on the site. When we arrived everything was as expected the home is what you expect a beach get away to be decorated appropriately and makes you feel relaxed. The grill was clean and everything was set for the stay. If there was any thing that was a miss it was that the guest towels that were set out were wet. Possibly taken out too soon from a dryer setting and when cooled were not dry. We were able to toss them in the dryer and wasn’t a big deal just a detail I thought I would share. I think the only other issue was the home next door (which was empty for our stay until the last day) had left there trash on the front porch and some decomposed fish on the yard.. we had a golf cart which had a flat tire and it was replaced with another cart right away service was great! We would recommend this location to anyone who has a big group especially adults who want on suites or need multiple rooms and full bathrooms. We have stayed in Port A many times over the years and my family was very impressed with this vacation we will definitely be back! One of our best!

Beach escape from the winter blues!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was perfect. Our rental home was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of cooking needs. The home was clean and comfortable. Access to the beach was great. A bit far from town, but that's not too bad to be away from everyone else.

Great experience.

Great experience, the property is clean and new., Close to beach and all the entertainment we need. A lot of fishing point are just 10 mins away. Only complaint is check-in was delayed an hour because they didn't finish cleaning on time.

Great property!

Perfectly situated between Corpus and Port A in a quiet secluded subdivision! Great for kids, golf cart was perfect! Plenty of space for our crew. Super clean and very nicely decorated. Only drawback was that I would have liked queen beds in master rooms rather than doubles.

Wonderful house a short buggy ride from the beach

Super comfortable new construction house - everything in great working order. Dishes had been rinsed not washed when we arrived and were scummy, and the MBR shower had been left running. The house is on a small canal and flies and mosquitos were a big problem.

Covid-19 Safe Trip

This property was perfect for Our 5 children and their budding families. Sixteen of us stayed comfortably in a well functioning, air-conditioned house. Beach was extremely close-by and was sparsely used by others. A couple of needs the house has... Unclog the Dryer for quicker drying times Hand towels for the bathrooms ( 2 in entire house) Wash clothes (2 in entire house) Dish towels (1 only) Dish cloths ( none) Arcade game needs repair Just a note. The previous renters did not take out the trash as directed and it was not caught by the cleaning crew.

Pandemic Getaway

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I wanted a last minute getaway after memorial day. We wanted space from downtown Port A, direct access to the beach, and dog-friendly. This rental met all of those needs. GOOD: House was clean (could've been a little cleaner) and accommodating for a group of 8 and 2 dogs (lots of space and play areas). The golf cart included in the rental was great and the access to the beach was very convenient. A useful ice machine was in the garage and the house had cable in every room. The house location was far enough away from other houses (except for the one empty unit next to ours) that we felt sufficiently safe during the pandemic. BAD: The grass was unkempt so my small dogs had a hard time peeing and pooping. There were more mosquitoes than I've ever encountered at Port A. I asked the management office to spray and they said they'd look into it and get back to me--- they never did. The pool was very small and shallow and really didn't accommodate 8 of us. I wouldn't say there were views of the ocean, but there were balconies. VERDICT: We had limited options, considering our last minute booking. So with that caveat, the house was good. I think we paid a little higher than what we would've with sufficient planning, but it served its purpose. I would recommend the property only if its a last minute getaway with a bigger group of people (and dogs).

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time going to Port A. House was nice and big and close proximity to the beach. We were there at 4 and the house was still being cleaned and beds unmaid. Ordered a golf cart from the same property management. Golf cart wasn't at the house as promised- they didn't prorate the fee. Manager of the golf cart company was a total jerk. House was great- just terrible service from Silver Sands. Sleeps 15- was given 5 towels. Had to call 3 times to get anyone to drop off towels. Won't rent anything from Silver Sands again.
