Port Aransas winter trip

We stayed the month of February and enjoyed the home and surrounding area very much. The home was very clean, had comfortable beds, and nicely furnished. The area was quiet and close the beach. Would recommend for anyone to stay here.

Spring Break in Port A.

The house was so much bigger in person than in the photos. Everyone loved how much space and how many beds there were. The location was perfect and even though there were a few hiccups, I’d still rate it high and rent this place again. It was a great place for the money.

Great location and clean, spacious house! Trash bins were full upon arrival from previous guests and fridge was not cooling sufficiently. Management quickly brought a backup fridge, thankfully. Most blinds are inoperable and shower curtain rods & rings are rusty. Most of the Kitchen cooking pans, etc. and outdoor grill could use an update, as they are rusty and flaky & there was only one usable Baking sheet for the entire place. Downstairs bedroom with bunk bed was hot and could use extra fans or additional A/C unit. Overall, we had a nice stay. The location and size is hard to beat!

Annual family beach trip

We had a wonderful time. The property was great! Very clean and well appointed. Suited our three families very well. Loved the covered parking also. Our only challenge was the beach access-a bit steep and lots of stairs. The little kids did fine though, as well as our seniors who are in good physical condition. It’s very close to the beach access road #1, and we drove our beach supplies (umbrellas, toys, cooler, etc) over in our car and met those walking over. Worked just fine.

Great house but beach access not...

House was excellent would definitely stay again, only complaint is getting to beach. Need a golf cart or vehicle to get on beach with chairs and tent. Boardwalk very difficult and dangerous with steep steps up and down plus rotted wood. Neighborhood was nice and quite. You can walk to the beach but quite a distance down 11th street and then beach access road 1A.

The home is beautiful and had the amenities we needed. We did purchase a small pitcher to make tea, however. Housekeeping could be a little improved, as found some snack mix, a chocolate chip cookie piece, and bottle cap under and in the cushion of one chair of living room furniture. Breakfast was the only meal we cooked, and my sisters handled that. They said a small, fry pan needs to be replaced as it is pretty burned. They would not use it for our breakfast. There are also some chipped plates. Just FYI, the bathroom showers are lovely, but the tile does get slick when wet. The home is absolutely lovely with lots of space (more than we needed since some of our original guests cancelled), and we would definitely stay there again. We had a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much!

Will definitely visit again

This is my second visit to this lovely home. Everything was perfect- the home, the weather and the game room which my kids loved. I also found it convenient to use the guest closet down stairs. The wraparound porch allowed our family to gather and talk about the days activities. Will definitely go to Casalavista again.

What a house!

This house was everything we hoped it would be! The outdoor shower and laundry room were wonderful! Low traffic area and short walk to be beach were also a bonus. We had 8 kids in our group and they were never bored -- #winning! The house was clean, AC worked well, and no lack of hot water for all the showers that were taken. We will definitely be returning!

Bed full of bed bugs

Extremely disappointed, one of the beds was infested with bed bugs. I am looking for a partial refund for the inconvenience of having to pack 3 families and move to another home which did not even accommodate us. After we got moved in to the new place, went out for lunch and we were locked out, our door code would not work. This was the most frustrating experience, especially since my husband suffers from Parkinson's and I have an autistic grandchild. I spend way too much money to have this nightmare of an experience. Please let me know who I need to talk to about requesting a refund.

Nice home.

The home was clean upon arrival. Check in was a breeze. We had plenty of room for everyone. I just wish we could have used the lift that is there to transport our luggage/groceries upstairs. but it was locked.

Very nice home

This house is by far the most light filled home we have ever stayed at in Port Aransas, and we have been going there for 14 yrs. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious. Also nice to have a bathroom for each guest room. Washer and dryer are convenient to the bedrooms. Nice to have a place to store fishing and beach gear on street level. Plenty of parking for guests and us. Will stay here again.

Great house for vacation and entertaining. The simple things like trash, odor in mini fridge, and showers were unexpected. The lack of cleaning supplies was a let down. Through it all great location and will rent again, but with emphasis.

Always Have a great time

Ive visited Casalsvista many times and I can say that Ive never had a better experience anywhere else. Home was very clean. This home has a wrap around porch with plenty of seating for family gatherings and a large kitchen for cooking those family meals. There were also plenty of beds for those large family gatherings. See you next year!

Nice house but supply and trash issue

Loved the house but both trash cans where full of “stuff” beyond regular trash so with us coming in on Friday and trash pick up on Monday that created a HUGE issue. For a house that slept 12 there where only 7 face towels and about the same number of hand towels. Only ONE trash bag for kitchen trash can. We had to go buy more of both on day two of stay

Great beach spot!

Plenty of room and great amenities! The kids had a blast, and we were an easy walk to the beach over the dunes on a boardwalk. When we needed to take our stuff, the golf cart ride was a snap. Love the foot wash outside and spacious parking for 4 cars and 2 golf carts. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great layout

We had two families with 6 teenagers staying here and the layout was perfect. It was nice to have two master bedrooms each with a private bath. We love the boardwalk neighborhood in port a due to the access to the beach. Would definitely rent it again

Great house!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great, comfortable and clean. The only inconvenience we had was that the kitchen garbage can didn't had a plastic liner. We asked for one as it was told to us that we were going to be provided with one only. Property management said they were going to send one, but never arrived. Had to buy some at the local store. We knew we had to, but not on our first day. Also, we asked for a mop 3 times as well and were told they were going to have someone come over with one, but never received it. we spend a lot of time at the beach and had to rinse outside the house not to bring the sand in which it was very nice, but we had a water trail from everyone coming inside with wet feet. It would have been nice to have something to mop water. Other than that everything was good.
