Welcome to Shell Yeah! A comfortable, beautifully decorated three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom townhome in Port Aransas! This centrally located rental home is a short walk to the beach or a quick golf cart ride to downtown Port A for world-class shopping, dining and entertainment.

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook your local fresh catch of the day. The dining area has a large dining table with seating for six. The living room has a flat-screen TV, comfortable sofas and two wingback chairs that are great for lounging. The beautiful powder bathroom is located on the first floor.

Shell Yeah bedrooms are located on the second floor. Every bedroom offers a private en-suite bathroom. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with a flat-screen TV. The primary bathroom has a soaking tub and double vanities. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a flat-screen TV. The second bathroom offers a shower/tub combination. The third bedroom offers two twin-size beds. The third bathroom has a single vanity with a shower/tub combination.

Family Beach Trip

Nice place! Master bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and the shower curtain was hung too high. Master bed was really uncomfortable. All other beds were good. As far as 2 spaces for parking, maybe for sedans or smaller crossovers. Parking is tight. Those are the only complaints. Overall, a perfect spot for a family vacation.

It was a great stay. The house was amazing. The only minor issues were, code door and the gentlemen painting the property. The code sent didn't have all the needed digits/symbols to open front door. But we got in with just a phone call. It would have been nice to know the property was being painted. While we visited the beach, a ladder was placed on the driveway and we couldn't park luckily we had parking by pool

Clean and comfy

Loved that the golf cart came with the rental! We had such fun riding that around. This place is fully stocked and we needed nothing extra for our trip. I have rented a lot of places and I think this kitchen was the most well stocked one I've encountered. I felt like everything was very clean, and I appreciated that they allowed our pet to stay. It was pet friendly but not pet dirty. We appreciated the owners making it so comfortable for us. Thanks for the nicely updated place!

Almost A Great Spot, but Look Elsewhere at this Location

Place smelled like stale cigarettes. Once we got home our all of our clothes smelled like it. No paper towels. No trash bags. No top sheet on 2nd level bed. 2nd floor shower pan seems busted and drain is loose. No knives for knife block. No midsection for blender that you put liquids in. No plastic cups. Why would you buy all glass??? No microwaveable dishware. Why would you buy random plastic? No tv in 1st floor king size bedroom. A small wifi only tv is less than $200. Only 2 towels per bathroom. Should at least have 4 to rotate. Only 1 wash cloth per bathroom. Should at least have 2. The couch pricks you like there goose feathers are something in it; so uncomfortable.

BSC108-Shell Time

Rental was as pictured and very clean. Check in was super easy too. The golf cart was awesome to have. It needed some maintenance, the gas gage was broken, the tank was full but the gage read empty and the steering wheel was backwards, meaning the bottom was on top. The seatbelts worked but didn't retract all the way...figured that was due to salt corrosion. However, it ran perfectly and we REALLY liked the having it with the rental! My suggestions on how to make it perfect: have more towels, provide Kleenex and provide a few more trash bags. We got there at 3:50 and the cleaning lady was still there. At 4:00 she left but had to bring back towels. The other rentals we've stayed in around this area always provided more bathing towels and beach towels. Its not a huge deal as we had extra beach towels we used to supplement but more bathing towels in each bathroom would have been nice. There were only 2 large towels per bathroom and other rentals we've stayed at gave four. There were five adults and two kids in my group and we drink a lot of water and soda and the large trash can was great but we went through the two bags in two days. I had brought extra bags just in case so we used those but again, based upon other rentals, there were ample backs to use. I expected tissues in the bathroom and noticed there were decorative containers in the linen cabinets but no tissues. Overall it was hands down the nicest place we've stayed at there and the kids LOVED the pool.

Amazing Place

We had an amazing time at this place! The setup and layout of the condo was perfect. It was clean and well kept. The golf cart was in terrible shape, but it worked for our trip.

Silversands Family Vacation

The property was wonderful. Great location, great layout and beautiful unit. Everyone room was a great size so there were no concerns about who got which room. Everyone had their own bathroom which was awesome. I was expecting to grill for the family but the grills were not by the unit so that threw dinner off a little. I would have rated a 5 instead of a 4 but I really struggled with customer service. Olivia was great but Pam was VERY rude. I have text messages from her that are very nasty and short. It was uncalled for and stressful to deal with. When calling to find another avenue to solve the problem she was rude on the phone as well. We did get it taken care of but it was a frustrating part of my vacation.

Great place, details need work

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to sleep in a great location with a beautiful pool, this is place is for you. The only feedback I have, however, is that the details need work. Things like a correct WiFi name/password, extra paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish towels, etc go a long way. These were only minor details, but they seemed like easy kills that would have made a great stay exceptional

Will return

Very nice space. Wasn’t able to check in early, but the house was sparking and clean smelling. Perfect for multiple parties to be together while also having your own space and bathroom. Golf cart was added bonus. Had to return to get fuse replaced for lights but it made travel to beach and close by places easy. 3/4 stars for cleanliness bc we found pet hairs on couch and sheets and toe nail clippings on couch. Yuck! Place is exactly as described. I’d still recommend and return. Just would give cleaning living area more.

Customer Service

Easy check-in and out. Clean place in a safe community. There was an unexpected Artic Freeze when electricity/heat/lights went off and then no water. Company came and checked on us. And the next day found us a place to stay that had heat/electricity. We were miserable with beginning stages of hypothermia, so this was very much appreciated. Thank you for looking out for us during this terrible weather phenomena. And making our stay pleasant the past two months.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a fantastic time at Shell time. The home was well kept, very spacious and had large rooms. The beach was right around the corner and thanks to the golf cart only a minute away! The kids really enjoyed the pool and the water slide. My only complaint would be there was not enough cookware. It was hard to make meals for our large family. Other than that we would definitely stay here again.

Great for privacy

Overall a very nice home! Everyone gets their own space to feel comfortable - the downstairs closet is GIANT. A few things we felt could have been better - the communication was lacking with the rental company and there were multiple mixed messages. First was that we brought three dogs and we were told it was okay, then that we owed an extra fee (because pet deposit only covers two dogs) then when I called was told it would be an DOUBLE the extra fee previously given because it’s charged for every two dogs(?) The next mixed message was check-in and check out... One email said a certain checkin and checkout time and another said and hour later for checkin and an hour earlier for checkout. Property could have been cleaned MUCH more thoroughly but I read other reviews and brought cleaning supplies. The kitchen is lacking some good cooking basics and there was a pan in the cabinet that was SO DIRTY! Really gross! Location and golf cart were awesome and home layout is great! We would definitely stay here again but will bring cleaning supplies again.

I wasn't aware that one of the king bedrooms did not have a tv in it when I booked it. Wasn't a deal breaker for the guest in that room though. Staff with Silver Sands were very responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Definitely coming back here again.

4 Day Getaway

Very close to beach. Beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath perfect for our family of 3 adult couples and 2 kids. However, cleaning person needs to be more attentive to detail. I spent first 30 minutes upon arrival cleaning 2 of the bathrooms and wiping out the refrigerator and kitchen counters. Towels and pillowcases were left in dryer. Took two more cycles before they were dry (overloaded). We had to wash sheets and comforter on top bunk bed because they were not clean. Be sure to bring your own kitchen towels as there are none. Having the garage and golf cart were very convenient. We loved the pool and how close it was.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home. We loved the location and especially enjoyed the golf cart. That was the highlight. The only recommendation would be to have it better stocked. We had to go buy a broom to keep it clean. Needed more dishes for cooking and a blender would have been nice.

Port A Getaway

Great condo with plenty of room. Excellent location with good proximity to the beach and town and nice pool. We were disappointed in the cleanliness and some of the amenities (not very many pots/pans, no bottle opener/cork screw, no kitchen towels, not enough bath towels). Overall great experience but perhaps needs a better cleaning service.

For future renters, the third floor has its own ac control while the first and second floor are controlled by one. The lower floor gets a little warmer. The place was not very well cleaned. There was dog or animal hair everywhere.. floors, couch, and bedspreads. The property management should change out the bedspreads and wash them. The actual bed sheets were clean. If you plan to bring your pet, please be respectful for future renters and not let your animals on the furniture or beds.

Summer fun

Great location near beach , great pool . Granddaughters had hours of fun in pool. Property was nicely decorated and roomy. We did have problems getting towels and kitchen trash can Was dirty but otherwise we had a great time.

We ended up extending our stay because we didn’t want to leave. Our family had a lot of fun in the pool and traveling around in the golf cart. The thee levels of this unit provided privacy for family and non-family members, segregation for kids when needed (haha) and a kitchen/dining/living area that you can’t hear from three of the four bedrooms.

The house is in the PERFECT location, so close to the beach and all the fun action in Port A. I loved that the house was 3 stories and the bedrooms are separated with 2 on the bottom floor, 1 on the 2nd floor, and 1 on the 3rd floor. The layout is great for several couples who all want to be together but also have their privacy, or for several families to share! Each bedroom has it's own bathroom as well which is a MUST for me. The house is decorated so nice! I love the style! Very modern and cute. I loved the covered patio and deck on each floor for a nice outdoor hangout spot. The house was SUPER clean! You can tell it is brand new and it is so well taken care of! Overall this was such a great stay and we will definitely be back!
