New Pool! - Tropical Waterfront Cottage -Dock & Optional Boat

We have electric power! Home stayed dry during hurricane milton. Clean and ready! Located on a highly desirable street, the house is perched high above Curry Creek offering spectacular water views from every room. The property includes a boat ramp to avoid the public launch. Three kayaks (two tandems and one single). Two miles from Nokomis Beach and only half a mile from The Legacy Bike Trail. You can do so many fun things, or just have a drink on the dock and watch the manatees. Pet Friendly.
The space
2 bedroom 2 bath home. A queen bed in each bedroom. 1,535 sq. ft. under air conditioning. 180 sq. ft. covered screened patio. Dock with boat lift. Boat ramp for boats up to 22 feet. Lush tropical landscaping. Central kitchen, dining room, living room with pull-out queen couch. Large couch in family room.
Guest access
All the space is yours to enjoy.
Other things to note
Pets are welcome, but there is a $100 pet cleaning fee.

Excellent home away from home! Pool was great! House was spotless. All the extra amenities- bikes, helmets, kayaks, beach chairs, etc. were so nice! Definitely would book again!

Very comfortable house in close proximity to several beautiful beaches and shops. We enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock. The host is very friendly and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Very nice, relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed our time there. Sorry to leave. Hope to be back.

The house was perfect for me and my mother. The kitchen was well equipped. The house was very clean. It is very spacious for a 2 bedroom. The location was convenient to everything. Clayton was a very responsive and helpful host.

Very comfortable home with great amenities and location. Property was very clean and communication was excellent. Direct water access and beautiful sunset views. Highly recommend if you would like a relaxing stay in the area with everything you need.

The pool and the boat dock were fantastic. The location was 5 minutes from Nokomis beach and Venice beach and Publix. It was a great location. The house was nice and quiet and comfortable. The communication was great, the kayaks were fun, the fish light off of the boat dock was relaxing. We really had a wonderful stay there and would love to come back next year! We never had a chance to take the bikes out, but the beach chairs and floaties were an excellent necessity. The check-in/out instructions were simple. 10/10 recommend!

Great Family Getaway

We had a fantastic stay! The pool was perfect, and the dock out back was a huge hit! My son caught tons of fish. The location was super convenient to beaches and stores, and the host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

We stayed here last week as my daughter was competing at FoxLea. Clayton was phenomenal with communication. The home was not only convenient to show grounds but it was extremely clean and cozy. Thank you again.

Colonia Bay Cottage

We had a great time in Nokomis at the Colonia Bay Cottage. The house was as described..the perfect get away retreat. Home was very clean with all the needed amenities . The view of the lagoon while sitting by the pool was perfect and only a short drive to the beaches!

Kayaking Holiday!

This property was exactly as described. The location was excellent for our needs and interests. We enjoyed the dock for relaxing while watching lovely sea birds and sunset and also stargazing at night. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful, even over the busy holiday vacation time of year! Our host was welcoming and responsive, although we had no issues to resolve. Everything was as we hoped. The house was also spotless upon our arrival, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this vacation rental! Thank you for the fun time!

Wonderful visit!!!

House is very clean, with all the amenities needed. Very close to the beaches, but far enough away to not have beach traffic as an issue. The pool was refreshing, and the dock in the back peaceful to observe all the fish! This is a great choice!of a place to stay in Nokomis!

Lovely home

We stayed at Nokomis with our family of 5 and really enjoyed our time there. The house was clean, uncluttered, and well equipped. We loved having access to the canal for fishing, the kayaks to explore on, and the pool to cool off in. The home has quick and easy access to many nearby beaches, a grocery store near by, and a selection of restaurants to pick from.

Family fun

The home was wonderful, had everything we needed. Loved the pool, it was so easy to use it. Home was well stocked, had beach towels, beach chairs/umbrella, kayaks, multiple bikes, even toys for the pool. Location is near multiple beaches, biking trails and many restaurants. We greatly enjoyed our vacation.

Great house, clean and cheerful

Well kept property with great amenities including heated screened pool, canal, and kayaks. Rooms were spacious. Supplies in kitchen were plentiful. New washer and dryer. Small items such as soap, shampoo, k-cups, sweetner were welcome unexpected amenities. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Sorry we weren’t there longer.

Wonderful property!

This adorable property exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, the house feels spacious, updated, and clean, and the dock was just what we needed- relaxing, comfortable, and perfect evening entertainment (the fish light is amazing)! The host provided great communication and set us up for a wonderful vacation. I hope it works out for us to come back again!

First visit to Nokomis

This was my first visit to Nokomis and not really knowing the area, I was happy to find this place was in a great location. It is on the water and near the beaches, a great starting point for day trips. While staying there, we took advantage of the kayaks that are included with the rental and launched from the back yard of the property. Clayton, the host, was very accommodating and quick to respond to the few questions we had regarding the property and area. The house was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The dock offers a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. I would recommend staying here.

Great Fishing Dock!

Large home with plenty of supplies. Everything you need is available, including bikes, cornhole, kayaks, puzzles, games & books. Great fishing from the dock.
