¡Tenemos el refugio familiar perfecto para ti! Playa de arena privada de 100 pies, agua cristalina que es poco profunda, muelle, mucho espacio en el patio para jugar y relajarse, cómoda, espaciosa cabaña de 4 dormitorios, 2 baños recientemente renovados con ventanas en abundancia, que ofrece magníficas vistas de la sexta más Hermoso lago en el mundo.

Sus preocupaciones comenzarán a desvanecerse en el momento en que baje por nuestra entrada aislada y arbolada de 600 pies. Cuando llegues a la cabaña y veas el hermoso lago Higgins, estarás en modo de relajación total.

Contemple el lago a través de los ventanales / ventanales en la gran sala, o contemple el bosque a través de los ventanales en la soleada y completa cocina comedor. Ofrecemos camas para 8, además de un sofá cama para 2 más. Cada baño recién actualizado para 2017 tiene su propia ventana y ducha de azulejos del metro, nueva encimera, almacenamiento adicional y pisos frescos. Se proporcionan ropa de cama, toallas de cocina, baño y playa, utensilios de cocina, vajilla y cristalería para una multitud, así como productos de papel para comenzar.

Las cuatro habitaciones separadas incluyen una cama queen principal, una cama queen junto al lago, dos camas individuales junto al lago y un par de literas individuales. Cada habitación tiene dos ventanas para disfrutar de brisas refrescantes y para conciliar el sueño con las olas a lo largo de la orilla, una cómoda y un armario.

Afuera, disfrute de dos patios de cemento, una hoguera, una parrilla de gas y carbón, una mesa de picnic, incluso un aro de baloncesto, internet WiFi y esas sillas Adirondack tan importantes para relajarse junto al lago.

Wonderful stay, location and owners

We have stayed at this property multiple time. The owners are really great to work with, super friendly and helpful. The location is great...right on the beach, close to Nibbles, Polar, The Cut (before the car crashed into it). Secluded from the road down a very long driveway.....we will definitely be back!!!

Nice family getaway

Very nice waterfront property! Layout was good for family. Very nice view of the water from great room. It was very hot and humid during our visit so we missed ac but made the best of it with fans.

Peaceful summer week

The lake is wonderful. Our accommodations were comfortable, clean and the view from the family room is beautiful. The week always goes to fast. All of us were sad it ended, but we’ll be back next year!

Have stayed at this property before and won’t be the last. The south side of the lake during the summer is usually calm when the wind comes from the south. Many mornings and evenings the water was like glass. The cottage is great with a nice grass lawn between the house and the lake.

Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at Flynn Cottage. The property met our needs marvelously, and the stretch of private beach occupied the 3- and 5-year old grandsons for hours and hours! Higgins Lake is one of our family’s happy places. We were so pleased with our stay in this home!

The location of the property is outstanding - right in front of a beautiful clear beach/lake. We really enjoyed all the extras that the property owners left for us - kayaks, a rowboat, games, floats.

Perfect cottage for an Up North escape

We couldn’t be happier with our stay here! We knew Higgins was an awesome lake, but we were so pleased with our cottage. Plenty of space for our entire family/friends group to hang out on the few rainy afternoons and the sandy beach/shallow waters were perfect for our 6 and 8 year olds to play safely!

Perfect location!

Property is right on Higgins lake! Our weather was a little cooler but the location was very close to multiple golf courses and there was lots of room in the yard to play games like cornhole! The cabin was very clean and had a nice large living room making it the perfect hangout spot to watch some football! Overall had a great stay and would definitely recommend to family and friends :)

Great getaway

Very nice up north cabin, very clean and quiet. This place had so much to offer including games, outdoors/indoors, fishing, boats, endless shell searching, basketball and more. Our family had a wonderful time on the lake relaxing in the water during the day and by the bonfire at night. The hosts were amazing and easy to get a hold of.

Perfect vacation

This was an absolutely perfect vacation. The cottage is rustic, but so what! The views, the owners, the family room space, the lake......ALL PERFECT. The owners were so wonderful to work with. We loved it! Thank you for making a very memorable summer!

Higgins Lake Paradise

Very impressive nostalgic northern Michigan cottage with knotty pine interior, original A-Frame construction, stone fireplace, and unobstructed view of the lake. Excellent location with sandy beach, crystal clear water and absolutely no rocks under foot in the water.

Hidden Gem

This was our second year and it was as enjoyable as the previous year. This is the best location on the lake with the sandy beach, a large shallow area of the lake and absolutely no rocks under foot. Great location for day trips to Mackinaw Island, the dunes & Traverse City or the UP. Provided lasting memories. Beautiful sun rises. Will definitely return again.

Awesome family trip!

My family and I stayed for a week and we had a great time! There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out! The cottage is adorable, clean, and in a perfect location. Great views of the lake with plenty of room to swim, hang out on floaties, or play football in the water! Higgins Lake is beautiful, clean, and cool. We brought our small boat and enjoyed cruising the lake. We met the owner, Jim, and he was a very nice guy, very friendly and helpful. We would definitely rent this cottage again!

Perfect week!

Everything at the house is exactly as the listing states. We had a great time playing on the beach, boating, playing games until he yard, playing basketball, and having bonfires in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, the living room provided plenty of space for games and lots of chatter about the day. We especially enjoyed how this home sits so far off of the road you hear no street traffic and truly get the up north feel while being on the lake.

Can’t wait to return!!

The Flynn family was very communicative, hospitable and accommodating. The property was clean, inviting and made for a great week long stay. The backyard and beach was great FR our family - aged 4-65!! We enjoyed days on the beachfront and in the water and evenings around the fire pit! Plenty of water toys to be had in the shed and the family was super sweet to ask if we needed anything at all. The bunk room is perfect for kids. It fit our 4 year old twins on the bottom and 6 year old on top. Can’t wait to come back next summer. Thanks Flynn family!

Great Spot on Higgins Lake

Wonderful, private, lake home right on the lake. Really really nice beach area with no rocks! Just sandy beach. VERY NICE!! Lots of sand for kids to play with. The fire pit was great. We roasted marshmallows every night we were there. Large place. They have a shed that has water toys. There are two canoes and a paddle boat you can use also. Overall a great place and I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a great place on Higgins Lake.

Cabin in the woods

This home is spacious and away from traffic and noise. There's a wooded area next to the house but not too close. You feel like you're in a rural area. The beautiful lake is the first thing you see each morning. You wade through shallow water, that is crystal clear, few stones and no weeds or grass to walk through as you make your way to deeper water for swimming. Nobody got swimmer's itch. We enjoyed it very much and look forward to returning.
