Sunset Waters - GOODYEAR LAKE - Enjoy beautiful sunsets while relaxing in the hot tub overlooking Goodyear Lake, or paddle the canoe around the lake. The fishing is especially great in this section. Guests enjoy the waterfront dock for both swimming and fishing. There is outdoor seating on the dock, or on the stone patio outside your front door and there is a picnic table in the yard.

Sunset Waters is located in a finished lower level of the hosts' home. It is a private, spacious 3-bedroom unit with an open floor plan. The main room includes a dining area, living area and a kitchen.

Your hosts live on the main level (totally separate from your quarters) and are close by if you need assistance. You will have as much privacy as you would in a hotel.

Dreams Park Stay

We stayed here for our sons Dreams Park baseball tournament, it was the best choice ever. Lori and Jon were absolutely great host. The beds were very comfortable and the house came with everything we needed. Lastly, you could not beat the amazing views and private dock to the lake. It was the best feeling to dive into the lake after a long day in the baseball fields. I am highly recommending this stay to family's that are coming next year.

Fabulous Stay

Sunset Waters was a wonderful place to stay, we had a truly great time. The property was very well appointed although we didn’t do a lot of meal preparation. Lori and John were wonderful hosts.

Quiet, comfortable, great amenities

Clean and comfortable. John and Lori live upstairs if you need help with anything, but you have total privacy. They're super responsive with any questions. The kitchen is stocked with anything you'd need, and having a washer and dryer was fantastic. The view of the lake from the hot tub is unbeatable. About 15 mins drive from Dreams Park - we went back and forth several times a day easily.

Great place on the lake!

Apartment was very clean and comfy. Jon and Lori were the perfect hosts. This rental has everything you need. We enjoyed swimming and fishing in the lake and the hot tub every night. Perfect place to relax and spend time with family while our older son played at Dreams Park.

Wonderful Views and Peaceful Location

We stayed at Sunset Waters in July 2024 while our son played at DreamsPark. We had (3) adults and (1) child; there are three bedrooms and we had plenty of space. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything you need. They even provide fishing gear, camp chairs and umbrellas to borrow. The owners, Jon and Lori are very responsive and helpful. The location is a short drive to DreamsPark, about 15 min and about 25-30 min to Cooperstown. The lake location is very quiet and peaceful, which was very welcomed after hot, long days at the ballpark for games. Our daughter loved fishing off of the dock and we loved having coffee on the patio and dock looking at the lake.

Amazing stay close to Dreams Park.

We had such a wonderful stay with Lori and Jon. The hosts made you feel welcome and right at home - they were available when needed but other than that, we didn’t even know they were there. The house had everything we needed and was spotless. It’s right on the lake and has amazing views - I enjoyed having coffee outside every morning and a glass of wine at night after some very long days of baseball. We used the dock every chance we could - from swimming to canoeing to fishing - you name it, they had it. It was an easy drive to Dreams Park - about 15 minutes. Definitely recommend this place!

Great Place

Stayed with a few family members and had a great time. Sunset Waters is a beautiful place with easy access to the lake, a nice hot tub and all the amenities needed. We loved it.

Great lakeside retreat

We stayed here while our son played at Cooperstown All Star Village. The house was clean and spacious and had beautiful views. We loved swimming in the lake and using the hot tub. It was the perfect way to start and end each day! Owners were helpful and communicative. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Experience!

Sunset Waters is a beautiful location with amazing lake views and access! Very convenient to Dreams Park. It allowed us to watch our son play baseball and have quality down time at the lake. Great indoor/outdoor amenities, including outdoor dining and hot tub. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances. The host provided bath towels and lake towels, which was very helpful. They had books, puzzles and family games available. The hosts were incredibly friendly. They kept tack of how our son's team did in the tournament and sent congratulatory notes throughout, and planned to attend the championship game if we made it! Highly recommend!

Perfect

The host were so welcoming and friendly, they were available when needed them but also very comfortable having our own space in including parking, the dock and porch. Property is well kept and the location was perfect being about 15 min from Cooperstown Dream Park and the main town of Oneonta. Between baseball we visited many antique shops and explored the area.

Stunning views + terrific hosts!

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at Sunset Waters during the Cooperstown baseball tournament! I am missing the lake views as I type this. Lori and John were both incredible and friendly hosts who made sure we had everything we needed, and even bought my wife a Keurig coffee maker during our stay! Everything was extremely clean and the condo felt comfortable and cozy. They had a dehumidifier which was a nice touch and the jacuzzi was clean and functional which is usually a 50/50 shot in a rental. Lori was so nice to follow along during the tournament and root for our team, and text me when the bald eagle was flying over the lake since she knew I wanted to see one. Super cool. I have already recommended to the families on our team who have younger kids and will be back to Cooperstown. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!
