The Space:

This 1BR/1BA lock off villa includes a spacious living room with cozy sectional sofa, Smart TV and fireplace. The kitchen includes all appliances and cooking necessities to make your weekend getaway or extended stay comfortable. Open the French doors off of the dining room to unobstructed views of the Santa Rosa Mountains and enjoy the tranquil sound of a fountain just steps away. The bedroom includes an upgraded King size mattress and Smart tv. A Keurig coffee maker and Keurig pods are provided, however there is also a standard drip coffee maker if preferred. An electric grill is available for guest use so you may BBQ on the back patio while taking in the beautiful scenery. Enjoy the tranquility and spectacular views that set this Villa apart from all of the rest!

Beautiful property

We had a great stay! The grounds are beautiful and the pools are wonderful! We loved our stay. I only wish the bathroom was a bit bigger and the bed was a quite more comfortable.

I suggest for liability reasons you put a rubber mat in tub/shower as the tub bottom is very slippery

Small But Perfectly Adequate

The bedroom and bathroom are not huge, but they were clean and our stay was short. There was a large living room area and a nice patio that we enjoyed. The owner might consider updating the dining area furnishings, but we mostly ate out so it was not a big issue. The property manager is very responsive which is more than I can say for the high-end hotels we've used since things started to open up again. We would stay here again.

Ideal spot

We love this community and this Unit was as described in the back of the community, nice and quiet. We noted a couple minor things and pointed them out to the owner. Hopefully those were addressed after our departure. It would have been great if there was a ceiling fan on the outside patio. We wanted to sit out there but the air was too hot and still to be comfortable. Communication with owner was awesome and quick. Which is super important to me. Bed was comfortable but on the firmer side of soft. We missed the sound of the fountain running and the patio string lights not being in during our stay but no family of the owner. Maintenance was working on the fountain one day. If you have the opportunity to stay in legacy villas, do it. Quiet and relaxing little getaway. Yet close to what you need for dining or groceries.

Weekend without help

Regarding our visit to Tranquil Villa with Captivating Desert Views #A at the Legacy Villas Resort in La Quinta, Ca. September 23, 2023 This is the 5th Legacy Resort unit we have rented over the past few years. We thoroughly enjoy Legacy Villas, but will never again rent a place hosted by “Allie” of Desert Sol. Without a doubt this Del Sol unit the worst place we have stayed in, not only the unit itself, but the irrational lack of customer service. My wife and I arrived just a few minutes after 4pm, our designated check-in time. At 4:50 we called the customer service number to report that the TV did not work and that we thought the place was dusty. Wiping a finger across a table came away dusty. I received no response. At 5:20, I called again stating the same. We received no response. We were disappointed that no one responded to our calls. On Desert Sol’s email of September 22, Allie said to let them know if we need anything. On our arrival date, September 23rd, I received another email from Allie to let them know “right away” so that they could remediate any problems. 4 hours later At 10:19 pm on Saturday, I received an email from Allie stating that if we are not happy, we can leave and they will refund for any unused nights. Allie also stated that the “Roku” remote is the only remote we need to operate the TVs. She also offered to have their professional cleaning company return to rectify any deficiencies. We declined as our vacation did not include monitoring a cleaning

Hi Bill, Upon your check in Saturday afternoon and after receiving a voicemail from you, we attempted to call you several times on Saturday with no success. After following up with you via email several times on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday, you finally responded on Sunday night saying that you sent a text of a video, which we did not receive. We attempted to send someone to assist with the TV, who you turned away at the door. We attempted to have housekeeping return to dust the property again to your satisfaction, which you declined. We offered to allow you to cancel your stay for a full refund as it was truly evident that you were not happy upon check in, however you again declined. Despite our many offerings to remediate any issues, you declined. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and wish you the best, however can assure you that we did everything in our power to accommodate your stay to your satisfaction. Sincerely, Allie
