Mount Snow Vermont - Ski - Snowboard - 6 miles

Enjoy the entire house of 2200 sq ft. This two floor chalet is located on two private wooded acres just 6 miles from Mount Snow Resort. Only a short drive to skiing and snowboarding.

The historic town of Wilmington is 5 miles south providing many restaurants, shopping, groceries, and local artist’s studios. Stop at Valley Craft Ales or buy local maple syrup. Very fast fiber optic WiFi-300mbps. Plus filtered water through the entire house (5 micron/KDF/Carbon).

The house is very family friendly with lots of games to choose from, a 55” tv with Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Apple TV, Peacock, and Hulu ready to watch. A 7’ air hockey table provides for additional entertainment in a separate building. A high chair, pack and play, kids stool, and a bin of toys are all available for the kids.

Sleep comfortably in three bedrooms with queen memory foam mattresses, and twin bunk beds. The house has privacy for 8 people. There is separate heat control in all three bedrooms. All bedding, pillows, and sheets are provided and all the beds are made prior to arrival. Lots of amenities included to provide the feel of home.

On the 2nd floor there is a large dining table for 8, a galley kitchen with fridge, breakfast counter, microwave, coffe maker, toaster, electric stove and oven. Soft leather furniture provides lots of seating upstairs to relax by the vented propane fireplace. Enjoy the quiet of Vermont, read, or play music and relax with many games to choose from. The 2nd floor bath has multiple shower nozels to provide full body spray. Dont forget to flip the Instant hot air heater on to avoid any chills during the winter.

This house has very specific cleaning and disinfecting procedures to provide a very clean home for all guests.

The Outdoor fire pit with dried wood is provided. Pick a color Adirondack chairs. Both firepit and chairs are available available from May thru October.

The gravel mountain road and inclined gravel driveway requires 4WD/AWD in the winter and spring mud season. (November-April)

The parking area in front of the house is well lit at night with motion lights and space for 4+ vehicles on level ground. Enjoy all year in Vermont!

Great ski house!

The house was great. We loved the two common rooms, huge kitchen table, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was very clean and well taken care of. Not too far from Mt Snow and restaurants so worked out well!

Great fall getaway

Really nice house

The house was very nice we liked that there was two living room spaces so we could do different things. The location was very nice it was quiet and peaceful. There was everything we needed in the house. Would love to come back with the rest of the family!

Highly Recommend

This cabin had everything we needed for a fun family ski trip! You could tell the owners understand what skiers want. There were boot dryers, mudroom for ski storage, lots of hooks, several streaming services, fast internet, cupboard full of games, gas fireplace, baskets of throw blankets, comfortable beds, and cute decor. You’ll want to turn up the multiple thermostats when you arrive. Check-in/check-out procedures were easy and even allowed us to take some runs in the morning before the 1 PM check-out. We loved it!

Ski week at Mount Snow

We loved staying at this house. Very private, super clean, and perfectly set up for all of our needs, which mostly just included all-day skiing, home-cooked meals, a movie, and then sleep.

Great Home in a Great Location

This was quite possibly one of the cleanest rentals I’ve been in; numerous people within our group echoed that statement. The house was super comfortable for our group, was close to skiing, and an easy drive into town. The check-in and check-out process were a breeze. I would 100% recommend and would absolutely rent again. We had a great time!

Holiday in the woods

Stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend of skiing at MT snow. The check in was easy and it was nice to have an 9am check in and a 1pm check out. The beds were very comfortable the house was clean and well appointed. We were 9 people 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The kids loved the downstairs to watch the football games. The Adults loved the upstairs to tap. Beautiful location in the woods Definitely need a 4 wheel drive.

The cleanest vacation home

The owners take pride in their home; everything was immaculately clean and in good repair. The house is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay, from games to linens, kitchen supplies, and fast internet. You must travel 3/4 of a mile on a dirt road, which can get muddy and rutted, making it difficult to traverse; you need a 4x4 vehicle and plan for a car wash after you stay :)

Hope to stay here again

This place was SPOTLESS and so organized, complete with clear labels on the appliances for how to use them. You could easily make full meals in this kitchen and feed 12 people at the dining room table. On warmer nights, you could enjoy the nice deck with patio seating and/or the fire pit with more than enough chairs. They have a Moka pot for coffee, though the coffee shops in the area are excellent, you may not need it. The one mattress I used was medium-soft, seemed to be a hybrid type and comfortable enough that I overslept. The upstairs shower has body sprays. Downstairs has a smart tv and games, by the bedroom with the bunk beds. It was more than we needed as a couple just staying for the weekend, but I would definitely recommend this house for a family or group getaway. Fast WiFi too.

Excellent Experience All Around!

Matt's property was a delight to stay in - clean, well renovated, and well maintained. We appreciated the ample space present for our group to play games together and enjoy each other's company. The driveway and roads were plowed early and adequately even through heavy overnight snowfall and allowed us to get to and from Mount Snow without delay. Boot heaters, in-home washer dryer, kitchen appliances, air conditioning/heating all worked flawlessly. Matt was extremely accessible to reach and communicate with throughout the weekend when we had questions. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect ski trip

Despite the -20 degree weather the 6 days at Matthews place was perfect. The space was big enough for our group of 6 couples and a perfect jumping off point to Mount Snow. We worked easily there by the fire and watched some movies on the blue ray. All around great stay

Ski weekend

The house is perfect family getaway, the bedrooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are very comfortable! The living spaces are fantastic, the couch in the1st floor is large enough to accommodate your whole party to watch a movie. Overall the house is 5 stars+. Would recommend this house to any family.
