Beautiful Beach Stay

The vacation rental was very clean.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

Property was as described. Had a little trouble with A/C working and keys to get in upon arrival. Not exactly the ideal outcome when you have been traveling all day, arrive in the dark and expect a smooth arrival. Property manager and owner took care of us pretty timely though and we were able to proceed with getting in and unloading our stuff. The location is great. Directly over a pristine beach, probably the best beach we have ever experienced in quite a bit of beach traveling. Was wonderful hearing the waves constantly throughout the day and night. The property is on a cove on the Atlantic side and we went during the slow season so we saw only a handful of people on the beach each day. Pretty much your own private beach the whole time. Couldn't ask for anything more since we came to relax.It was slow season so a few restaurants like tippys and some others in the town were not open. We might plan differently next time we come. Overall, know what to expect when coming to this island. It is as laid back as it gets. This is not a 5 star resort. This is a beautiful island, off the beaten path. Go there and learn about the culture of the island. The locals are such friendly people. Just make sure you know your expectations before going to Eleuthera, which we did, and you will have an unforgettable time.
