The best time in surf city

The place is perfect for big family and is more big the town house en real time everything is clean and close to the beach we come back again.

Our trip to Surf City included two families: 4 adults and 4 young children. We all loved our stay and had plenty of room. The pool was enjoyable and just steps away from the house. Beach access was easy and within minutes from the home. The outdoor shower was a huge plus! For future visitors, there was one beach cart available as well as beach chairs; they were usable and varried in wear. One other tip for visitors, glassware, kitchen supplies and plates could use a proper washing prior to use.

We do not put beach essentials in listing for a reason, they are not supplied by us, they are things left by previous renters. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

We had a nice time, beds were very comfy, AC worked great, ceiling fans kept the temperature at a great range, kitchen was small but there were only two of us cooking anyway LOL. The bathrooms were tiny but at least everyone had their own! There were great restaurants close by and food was quite good, and great ice cream shops everywhere!! The beach was mere steps away and if you went out on the balcony and craned your neck, you could see the ocean. And we certainly got our “steps” in with this property!

Awesome space and location!

This townhouse was exactly what we were looking for. Having 3 master suites with king beds, plus several other beds in the loft, makes this a perfect space for a fun weekend with a group of friends. Also, very convenient having the Friendly Mart right across the street, as well as 2 fun bars. I think we enjoyed the people watching from our balcony more than going to the actual bars lol. This is a 3 story townhouse, which was fine with us, but if you have an older or handicapped person in your group, the stairs could get overwhelming. Very clean, stocked with some essentials, easy code (rather than sharing keys) to get in the door. You can't beat this beautiful space and the super quick walk to the beach right through the parking lot!

I'd definitely book again

This was our 1st time staying in Surf City, NC and frankly anywhere in the area. The beach was fantastic! Long shelf of sand for kids to run and play freely. I know we were a bit early in the season and it may change but there were very few people on the beach during the week, but got busier on Friday and Saturday. Being from Florida we loved that we could be out most of the day and it was only 80* in mid May! As for the condo, it was a great set up for big or multi family trips! Each of the 3 rooms had a small but adequate bathroom and a half bath between 2nd & 3rd floor. Each of the rooms were also adequate size and each had a sound machine (I'll get to why later) which we thought was cool because we use them for all of our kids. The beds were a bit firm for our preference but fine. The dual living rooms allowed people to retreat to their own chill spots after all of the days activities were done & the kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked most of our meals there. I was bummed the gas grill had no propane. We were very impressed that there were 2 small highchairs and a Johnny Jumper in the master closet as we had a 9 month old with us and anyone who travels with kids knows how much crap you have to lug along with you! The area was very quaint and the locals were friendly. It had a very residential feel instead of "touristy" which we also enjoyed. There a plenty of restaurants and watering holes within a very short drive to and even 1 directly across the street.....with live entertainment.....until midnight...hence the sound machines :) Overall great place, very well equipped, we really enjoyed ourselves, warning though: YOU BETTER LIKE STAIRS, there are a lot!
