You will love our peaceful penthouse two bedroom suite. It is conveniently located near the I-17 and Peoria in Phoenix for easy access to the city and state. You will have access to our heated pool, spa, tennis courts and BBQ grills. We also have a beautiful lake with walking paths and you’ll see ducks, geese and other wildlife. Our condo is furnished with power reclining sofa, King size beds and Roku TVs in every room. We also have a screened in patio over looking the lake. Just Beautiful!
The space
Our penthouse is updated and a very awesome space! Our complex is very close to many excellent restaurants and castle coasters is a fun place for all ages. We are close to the freeway to get to any part of the valley you desire. You will just love this place
Guest access
You have our entire penthouse except two closets that are locked. You will need the key provided to use our heated pool, tennis courts or walk around the lake. We provide tennis racquets, pickle ball racquets and balls as well as pool floats.
Other things to note
There are dumpster on site to throw your trash away they are located behind block walls and gates there are several on the property

Relaxing stay in Phoenix!

We loved staying here! The penthouse was clean and comfortable. The lake was even nicer than expected--teeming with geese, ducks, and turtles, and made for great morning walks. We would come back any time!

We enjoyed our stay.

The condo was very nice and clean. Loved the screened in deck although it was too cool to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. The location within the complex was perfect, close to both pickleball courts and the pool (which was lovely). Lots of eating places nearby.

Great stay

Exactly as advertised. Great private lake and walking path. Close to restaurants if we wanted to use them. Highly recommend.

Great condo!

This was a wonderful condo with plenty of space. It was so clean and our favorite part was the screened in deck with TV! We enjoyed the pool, it’s not large or impressive but clean and nice to enjoy the pool & hotub! The hosts were so amazing & provided everything we needed for our stay!

A Great Place for a Family

It was our first time in Arizona. The property grounds were nice. Our home was clean and spacious. The bathrooms were nicely updated with great showers. We would come back again.

Great property

This is a very nice condo with many great amenities. It is nicely appointed in both furniture, kitchen items and extras. The owners are very helpful and responded promptly to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Check in was very easy and place was easy to find. Condo had plenty of room for me and my 2 teenagers. We really liked being on the 3rd floor and the view of the lake was nice but would have been a lot nicer if the screens on the balcony opened. There were only a couple of things like the place could have been vacuumed better lots of dust & stuff under the couch when we used the recliners and a few of the pots where dirty when they were put away so had to wash them. Pool was very nice and warm and people were all very friendly. We would stay here again.

Relax and enjoy

Was very nice to have walking path around the pond Close to restaurants and grocery. Really enjoyed my recovery from surgery in AZ sunshine. Hiking on trails close by North Butte mountain.

Love to stay at Desert Shores

This complex is so close to my family when we visit Phoenix. Highly recommend for convenient location if your stay will be setting sights in Phoenix and to the north and/or west. This condo was nicely redone and comfortable. King bed was a bit too soft to our liking but everything else was very nice so still would recommend. Owners were great and very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful unit!

This unit is beautiful and perfect for our group of three adults. Each room has comfy king beds and they are separated by the living room. We loved having tvs in every room plus the patio! Having coffee on the beautiful tiled patio, watching the news, and hearing the ducks on the pond was awesome. The kitchen is great and she even provided coffee which was Perfect and so convenient esp on our first morning. The pool and hot tub area are even more lovely in person. The pool was 85 degrees and very clean. The proximity to spring training perfect. The security in the complex very good. Just a bit north is Happy Valley shopping area with a great live music restaurant The Stillery. Highly recommend. We would recommend and stay again hopefully soon.

Affordable, comfortable for Two adult Couples.

we stayed 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. The kitchen was set up with everything we needed. There were extras like toys for the pool, coolers, beach towels, tennis rackets, pickle, ball, rackets, and balls K cups cooking spray things that we thought we might have to buy were provided for us. maybe the best thing and the thing that drew us to this property was that both bedrooms were set with king beds, which made it possible for two adult couples to come here. Entire property was well-maintained, the tennis courts, pool and path around the lake, which was about a mile long offered beautiful scenery. I would also say that the host was excellent before our trip and readily available to communicate with through text while we were here. And very easy to work with all along the way. We would eagerly return to this property.

Very nice property in an ultra-convenient location

This property is in a really great location for visitors - because it is close enough (within 20 minutes) to lots of places - downtown, airport, State Farm stadium, Top Golf, Camelback Ranch, and other ballparks.The condo itself was cleaned perfectly, came with lots of items (coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, etc.) that normally have had to buy on our own. That’s a plus.The screened in patio (with a fan and TV) are beautiful, especially in the morning. The late afternoon sun is nice and warm, though it does wash out the TV screen. Perhaps the owners would consider a shade to block the sun for those who want to watch TV after 4:00 and before dark. This is not a deal breaker, just a nice-to-have.There are pickleball paddles and accessories for those who like to play, and the court is literally across the front drive. Some coolers are ideal for taking beverages on short trips. Ideal.The furniture is a bit out of synch with the beautifully upgraded condo, but my instincts tell me they might change that. I do hope that new mattresses might be on the horizon - if you have trouble with soft mattresses this will be an issue for you.The main sitting area has a beautiful flat screen and a really nice furniture grouping, with two reclining sections.So, overall, a very nice value for the money. My review score would be five stars except for the soft mattresses.

Desert Shores is a very nice complex located at 28th Drive and Peoria area in Phoenix. It is close to the I-17 for easy access all over the city. We have small lake with walking paths and nice landscaping it is approximately one mile around the lake. We have a heated pool and spa and also tennis courts. All these areas are accessed with a key provided. You will need a car to get to restaurants and shopping which is less than a mile away.
